Retiring Stampin'Up! Products

We're saying goodbye to our Retiring Stampin'Up! Products...the 2017-2019 In Color family! Yes, some of these beautiful shades are going away forever...this means that if you need to supplement your supply to make sure you have what you need for your creations...this is definitely the time to get them. In colors

My favorite is still Powder Pink but then I'm always going to pick pink! But I have fallen in love with all the others too--see how well they all blend together...don't leave any of them out of your color pallette.

When the full retiring list comes out (usually in April) some of these products will be out of stock overnight. You can be smart in getting yours now before they are gone from the shelves...in fact some of these are already on the back order list. If you get yours ordered now, you'll still be able to get these when the supply is replenished. Once these go "out of stock" you won't be able to order them any longer.

This is a great time to stock up because Sale-a-bration will still be in effect for 3 weeks...you can still earn those freebies while replenishing your supplies of these outgoing In Colors.

Remember:
*When you purchase $50 in product you can select a free item from Stampin'Up! (this is a reward
*When you earn 4 rewards from Stampin'Up! you'll get a bonus from me (box of chocolates + $5 coupon) I just packed the boxes this weekend and did I say "Ghirardelli" is a key chocolate here? LOL.
*If you order ONLINE and use this month's host code (MN3BV2BR) you'll receive $5 in Stampin'Up! product from me for each $50 in product that you purchase....does it get any better?

Cute New Stampin'Up! Story Label Punch

Today we're using that Cute New Stampin'Up! Story Label Punch! This punch is beautiful and one of the new coordination items being offered only during March (there's no indication that it will be carried over at this time). It's one of many new products that coordinate with the FREE Sale-a-bration rewards products. All the new products are in this brochure Download 03.01.19_FLYER_Q1_OOP_US

Here's a  quick card that features this lovely design--it quickly creates the focal point and...see the green layer behind the white punch out? I just punched a piece of Garden Green cardstock with the story label punch, cut it horizontally and glued it to the back of the white punched piece so that just a bit of green peeks out the top and bottom giving that layered look. Story label punch card

Take a look at that verse too--this is also one of the new coordinating products (More Than Words) that is available only during March--you'll want to get this while it's available.

The designer paper used in this card is the Four Seasons Designer Series Paper that was available mid-February with the coordinating stamp set...now it is available all by itself--you don't have to get the bundle to enjoy this new designer paper.

Transform the Stampin'Up! Sweet Cup into an Easter Basket

Today I'll show you how to Transform the  Stampin'Up! Sweet Cup into an Easter Basket!  Take a look!

The sweet cup does most of the work for you--usually trying to construct a round box or basket is a bit tricky--when I looked at the Sweet Cups the first time I thought they would make an amazingly cute Easter basket with minimal work. EAch pack of cups contain 10--great price! Easter basket sweetie cup

I'll give you the directions below and following that will be the supply list. Click on the Shop Now button or on one of the product images and you'll be in my store to order the supplies you need to create these cuties.

Directions:

1. You'll need to sacrifice one of the Sweet Cups to get a pattern for the designer paper. Very carefully open up the side seam of one cup and cut out the bottom (you may want to save this in case you need it for a pattern for another project). What is left is the side of the cup--lay this out on the Butterfly Gala designer series paper (I used the tiny butterfly design). Trace the patter onto the DSP with a pencil and cut out with your Paper Snips. Attach this to the base of another Sweet Cup using Tear & Tape (Item #138995).

2. With your Paper Snips cut out the top of one Sweet Cup lid...use the tips of the scissors. Then  set the lid rim (what is left after cutting out the top) on top of the decorated cup.

3. Attach approximately 22" Calypso satin ribbon to the rim with Tear & Tape. Tie a bow with the two ribbon ends.

4. Cut 3/4 X 11" thick Very Vanilla cardstock; using 11" Calypso Coral cardstock and the Decorative Ribbon punch--punch the ribbon and adhere it to the vanilla piece with liquid glue. Add liquid glue to about 2" on the good side of this "handle" and stick it inside the cup (let this dry a few minutes before trying to hold the basket by the handle). Easter basket - handle

Your basket is ready for the sweets! Enjoy!

Amazing Foil Embossed with Country Floral

Today's card is created with the Amazing Foil Embossed with Country Floral embossing folder. Now if you are a Stampin'Up! junkie or just a casual observer...you've probably already flipped out on the Country Floral folder I showed you last Friday (if you missed it check it out here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2019/02/its-coming-next-friday.html. Toda's card uses the Lovely Lipstick foil sheets: 2-12-19 foil embossed

See the detail better....2-12-19 foil closeup

One caution using these dynamic embossing folders (the thick ones with the deep impressions) ---treat your foil gently--it can cause slight splits in the foil--if it happens, take a sponge dauber and some Lovely Lipstick ink and just touched those splits up a bit --- good as new.

Both wonderful products (foil & folder) are FREE..the foil is part of the first release of Sale-a-bration free items & the Country Floral embossing folder is part of the second release that becomes available Friday February 15th---while supplies last! This last statement is probably the most important part of this post! This is so beautiful that it will fly off the shelves & I expect supplies to run short very very quickly--just sayin'!

The full brochure with first & second release Sale-a-bration products is downloadable here Download 20190215_SAB19-2_en-US
