Here's the set we are using this week...

Today we're getting a bit more whimsical with our setting...here's today's card...

and a bit closer look...

We began our creation with that fresh new look of Lemon Lolly cardstock--I think we'll be using quite a bit of the color especially during the summer months. We embossed the card front with the crosshatch design (Basics 3D embossing folders--Online Exclusive product)...a perfect texture for this scene.

The multi-hued designer paper is from the Bright & Beautiful set. These papers include many of our new colors in a lovely array of useful designs...I think we'll be seeing these quite a bit this season.

By stamping the floor covering on the Parakeet Party cardstock we eliminated coloring it! Doing the same trick with the rocking chair we have quickly created 2 main focal points in short order.

The basket of greenery was colored with the Lemon Lolly Blends and the Lemon Lime Twist Blends (a Returning color). 

Using the "It's always a good day..." as the front greeting you can complete the thought any way the fits the occasion on the inside.

We've added a bit f shine with the Gold Foil borders and that added zing with the fresh new 23-25 In Color dots. Now it's hard to believe that these dots on this card are actually represending the Wild Wheat color ---they are really quite a lovely accent.

1. Cut Lemon Lolly cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base); put front through crosshatch folder (Basics 3D embossing folders).

    *Stamp verse in Memento ink
    *Stamp floor covering in Granny Apple Green on Parakeet Party cardstock, die cut, adhere to dsp.
    *Stamp rocking chair in Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake cardstock; adhere with dimensionals
    *Stamp basket of greenery in Memento on Basic White; color with Light Lemon Lime Twist & Light Lemon Lolly Blends; adhere with dimensionals
    *Cut two 1/2 X 5 pieces Gold Foil; adhere to longsides of DSP with glue dots so approximately 1/8" of gold is showing; adhere to card front with glue.

3. Adhere 1 of each size of Wild Wheat dots (2023-2025 In Color Dots)--see sample for placement

Today we're Creating Easily with Stampin'Up! New Lazy Days Stamps & Dies. We're all so excited to get our hands on the new products in Stampin'Up!'s new annual catalog...we hardly know where to begin. So I selected this awesome new set Lazy Days to begin our stamping journey through the new catalog:

One of the useful features of this set is that most of the images have dies to cut them out along with some additional dies that accesorize with out the stamps....here's today's card...

& a bit closer...

For today's card we used the "fence" or "railing" die to form our base....we added the beautiful ivy or flower vine to add some interest. 

The hanging basket was easily colored with our Stampin'Blends...the ink from these markers makes us look like coloring pros with the smooth delivery of color.

Then we cut one more vine with Flirty Flamingo and cut off small pieces to decorate the hanging greenery and to add a bit of spicy color

Those classy little silver pearls are from the Festive Pearls originally appearing in the holiday mini last fall but carrying over into the new annual catalog---wahooo! Those are really super embellishments in four different colors.

All this loveliness is bedded on the Cane Weave folder embossing which adds that wonderful deep texture to the card.

    *Die cut railing from Gray Granite--adhere to rectangle.
    *Die cut vine from Garden Green--adhere to railing.
    *Stamp hanging basket in Memento-color with Blends: Light Old Olive, Ivory
    *Die cut vine from Flirty Flamingo, snip off a couple of pieces to decorate the greenery.

One little monkey doing a handstand on the balance beam & the other one jumping for joy! Can you look at this card and be sad?

The monkeys are colored with one of the new Core Colors, Pecan Pie--it's a rich medium brown which has been missing from our color pallette...t's just perfect for the monkeys!

We've added a bit of jungle leaves in the background & used the brass butterflies to add some charm.

The verse is stamped on a punched label (Double oval punch) & embellished with the Loose Daisies we first encounted in the spring mini catalog & are carried over into the new annual for another year! The label cardstock is also a new Core color --Lemon Lolly! Totally perfect for our spring cards.

2. Cut 4 1/8 X 5 3/8, put through Fern folder; adhere to card front.

3. Using Deckled Rectangle die (4 3/4 X 3 1/4) cut Granny Apple Green rectangle--adhere to center of card.

4. Using next smaller rectangle die, cut from Vanilla cardstock

    *Stamp two monkeys (see sample) in Memento ink; color with Light Pecan Pie and Light Petal Pink Blends

    *Stamp leaves around the images; color with Light Granny Apple Green Blends

    *Adhere 2 large Brass butterflies--see photo

    *Adhere to Granny layer with glue.

5. Cut Parakeet Party 1/2 X 5; put through crosshatch folder (Basics 3D embossing folder); adhere to card front (see photo).

6. Stamp verse in Memento on Lemon Lolly, punch with scalloped oval (Double oval punch); adhere 3 Loose Daisies with glue dots above verse; adhere label to card front with dimensionals (see placement in photo).

Today we're Creating Another Striking Card with Stampin'Up1 New Naturally Gilded Designer Series Specialty Paper! Last Thursday(3/2/23) we used this same designer paper to create our first card --if you missed it, check it out here .... Click here to see the card

This is a quick peek at the specialty paper..

 As you can see it features copper foil on white, silver foil on white, and gold foil on vanilla...such a stunning display of shining beauty!

We used the Picture This die for the top layer--isn't that a perfect display of this designer paper?  Three lovely windows on to the copper foil wildflowers...amazing!

The sweet butterfly in copper foil is from the die set...Desginer Tags....it's a super useful set and you can use this dainty butterfly for a multitude of card designs.

6. Cut Pale Papaya 1/2 X 2 1/4; stamp verse (Irresistible Blooms) in black ink: adhere a small champagne rhinestone as the dot over the 'i'.  Adhere label to card front with dimensionals.

Today we're Creating a Card with Stampin'Up! New Naturally Gilded Designer Series Specialty Paper! The beauty of this set of designs in the paper are awesome--they are part of the new product collection available 3/1/22--today we're just featuring the designer series specialty paper.

The copper foil and silver foil are embedded on white stock. The gold foil is embedded in Vanilla foil...and the effect is tottally stunning.

Here's today's creation

and a bit closer look,,,

It is quite difficult to capture the beauty of foil in a photo! You really need to see it live to enjoy the true beauty.

We've coupled the designer paper with the border die (Eden dies) at the top and bottom of the designer paper cut. This pops the embedded foil and pulls out the richness of the copper.

We added just a touch of embelishment with the lovely butterfly also cut from copper foil and topped off with a Champagne rhinestone.

The sentiment is from the new collection Irresistible Blooms and the curly script is so fun with the butterfly and the copper wildflowers.

Today we're focusing on More of the Magic of Eden's Garden Collection. 1. Cut Evening Evergreen cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut Designer paper #1 5 1/4 X 4; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Die cut scalloped rectangle (So Sweetly Stitched die) from Soft Succulent cardstock

4. Cut 2 1/8 X 3 1/4 Designer Paper #2; adhere to scalloped rectangle with glue.

5. Cut approximately 12" Soft Succulent ribbon; tie around the above unit and into a knot on the left side. Adhere this unit to card front with dimensionals.

6. Stamp verse in black ink (e.g. Memento #132708) on Basic White cardstock; die cut with small scalloped die (So Sweetly Stitched die set); adhere a light green rhinestone (Holiday Rhinestones0) --see photo. Attach to center of the above unit with dimensionals.

Today Let Me Show You How to Make Eden's Garden Bloom! For the last 2 weeks we've been creating with this stunning new stamp set that coordinates magnificently with the designer series paper..so far you've seen 4 samples and I'm sure they've whetted your appetite for this Collection of products.

Of course, you can substitute other greetings in the set to create a cards for a multitude of occasions.  When the designer paper is a mix of Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen with those gold foil tones---it's very easy to create a card within those colors that is very striking and without lots of color coordination work.  In fact, this card could easily have been done with Evening Evergreen cardstock and ink--it would have more contrast with the designer paper and still blend altogether very well.  That's really the fun part of using product Collections like this--the instant magic of color coordination!!

Directions:

1. Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score long side at 5 1/2 (card base).

2. Cut Soft Succulent cardstock 5 1/4 X 4; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut two pieces of designer paper 5 X 1 13/16; adhere them with glue to the Succulent layer leaving even borders around all edges.

4. Cut scalloped rectangle (So Sweetly Stitched dies) from Basic White:

    *Stamp floral image in Soft Succulent ink

    *Apply Wink of Stella to some of the longer leaves (or wherever you like sparkle!)

    *Adhere 2 large and one medium rhinestones to flower center

    *Stamp verse in black ink (e.g. Memento #132708)

    *Adhere this layer to the card front with dimensionals.

2. Cut Basic White cardstock 4 1/8 X 5 3/8, put through Timeworn Type embossing folder and adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut 3 pieces of designer paper 1 1/2 X 3 1/2; adhere one to middle of card front and add the other two on each side leaving approximately 1/8' between.

4. Die cut label (Stitched So Sweetly dies) from Basic White cardstock

    *Stamp floral image in Soft Succulent

    *Add Wink of Stella to the long solid leaves

    *Add 1 large and 2 medium Basic Rhinestones to the center

5. Cut gold foil 2 7/8 X 1 11/16; adhere to back of white label with glue dots

6. Cut Evening Evergreen cardstock 3 X 13/16; adhere to back of gold with glue; adhere this unit to card front with dimensionals.
