Super Quick Gift Wrap with Stampin'Up! Gable Boxes

Today you'll get the instructions for Super Quick Gift Wrap with Stampin'Up! Gable Boxes.

If you've been to one of my events in the last couple of weeks you may have won a door prize of chocolate--yes, that's awesome in itself....BUT, the chocolates were presented in this super cute gift wrap.... Gable bo Side

I used the Stampin'Up! Lustrous White Gable Boxes--- a package of 12 boxes is $8.00!  These boxes require no adhesive, just fold on the score lines and fold the bottom together...you are done.

Here are the measurements for the designer paper on the lower box:  two pieces of 3 7/8 X 1 7/8 & two pieces of 1 7/8 X 1 7/8---use liquid glue to adhere to bottom sides of the box.

Then:
*Cut approximately 18" Poppy Parade ribbon - tie around the box handles at the top (fill the box first with your gift).
*Stamp a candy cane (Candy Cane Season stamp set) in Real Red ink on Whisper White cardstock, punch with Candy Cane punch. Punch a 1/8" hole in the top and loop through 12" Garden Green twine, tie in a bow Tag

*Punch a bow (Candy Cane punch) in a scrap of Tranquil Tide Glimmer Paper and adhere to candy cane with a dimensional

AWESOME! Your chocolates or other small gift is now looking like a million dollar gift...presentation is always the most important part of a gift...which would you prefer
*receiving a handful of chocolate  dumped into a grocery bag
OR
*receiving a handful of chocolate in this awesomely cute box?

You can quickly adapt this to any occasion by changing the designer series paper you choose to cover the bottom of the box--birthday, anniversary, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Just Thinking of You Day...etc.

Note: the Santa's Workshop Designer Series Paper is no longer available--there are several alternative papers to choose from in the supply list below.

Below is the Supply list that you'll need to re-create this terrific gift wrap--I've given you several designer papers to choose from for Christmas but you can select any designer paper for all occasions!

Remember
*The Holiday mini catalog is good until 1/2/19--HOWEVER, the products are only available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! The retiring list will be published Wednesday (12/5/18) and when that list is published the supplies will be going quickly. My advice is to order now!

Quick Gift Holder for co-worker, teachers, friends!

Here's a great Quick Gift Holder for co-workers, teachers, friends! I used it for Hot Cocoa Mix and a candy cane...but you can use it for any small gift or a small gift card...what makes it so great is that you can make two of them from a single acetate box. That's right, I just cut one into two and I can make two super gifts--love the easy wrapping as well as the inexpensive but awesome acetate box holder! Cocoa holder

Take a look at the tag--we used that same neat technique as we used Tuesday to create a fun quick double backing. Label closeup

I'll give you the directions and then the supply list so you can order your supplies today.

Remember
*If you place your order online and use this month's Host Code (437B9C7T) you will receive $5 in Stampin'Up! product from me for each $50 in product that you purchase.
*The Holiday Mini catalog will expires 1/3/18--so order what you need now before products become unavailable.

Directions:

1. Before opening and assembling the acetate box, cut the box in half at the halfway point on the long side

Box cut in half

2. Cut designer paper 2 3/4 X 9 5/8, score on the long side at 1/2, 4 3/4, and 5 1/4. Fold on the score lines and slip inside an acetate box and press paper to box sides.

3. Cut approximately 20" red satin ribbon. Secure on the backside of the box with a glue dot in the middle of the ribbon. Tie a bow in front of the box and secure with a glue dot.

4. Stamp verse (from stamps in punch box) in Garden Green ink on Very Vanilla cardstock; punch out. Punch out the punch shape from Real red cardstock and from Gold Glimmer paper. Cut sideways in the middle of each and secure the pieces to the back of the label with glue dots--by moving the cut pieces slightly up and down from the label you will achieve the double background for your label.

5. Punch a hole in the top of the label with the 1/8" hold punch and thread 12" of Garden Green twine through; attach the label to the bow on the box.

Slip in your gift card or gift certificate and you have an awesome packaged gift ready to give!

Fastest Gift Tag using Stampin'Up! Snowfall Thinlets

Today we're going to create a gorgeous gift box with the Fastest Gift Tag using Stampin'Up! Snowfall Thinlets!

I just purchased a cute scarf as a gift and wanted to create a classy package for it...so I started with a Baker's Box (they are white so a great canvas to start the project), added some Poppy Parade ribbon and....wait for it....the fastest most sparkling gift tag ever....here it is: Bakers gift box

The Baker's Boxes come in packs of 8 white boxes (food safe too!) with the clear window on top...so sponging with your favorite ink is quick and easy (I used Granny Apple Green). I used one of the snowflake stamps in the Snow is Glistening stamp set to give some interest. Note: since the box surface is a bit slick and shiny...take care when stamping not to let the stamp move on the box surface. Stamp straight down and lift straight up for best results.

Baker's box stamped side

Tied the box with the Poppy Parade Textured Weave ribbon and then used the medium size snowflake thinlet  (Snowfall Thinlets) to create the base tag.

I added a banner stamped with "For You" (Snow is Glistening stamp set) in Garden Green ink--popped it up with dimensionals and looped it onto 12" Garden Green Baker's Twine (tied this around the Poppy bow). Gift tag

The stamps and thinlets are part of the Stampin'Up! November Only products--these products are only available through November 30th--or as long as supplies last! And they are selling quickly! My advice....order soon.

    *Snow is Glistening stamp set
    *Happiness Surrounds stamp set
    *Snowfall Thinlets
    *Snowflake Trinkets
    *White Velvet paper

Remember:

*These 5 products are only available until November 30th or as long as supplies last!

*If you place an online order and use this month's host code (437B9C7T) you will receive $5 in Stampin'Up! products for each $50 in product that you purchase.

3. On the front side, add 2 strips of Tear and Tape for the first rectangle. Remove the topping and forming an open-sided box adhere the first rectangle to the largest rectangle--note insert the candy before sticking--this makes it easier the trying to insert it after forming the box. Addking the Tear & Tape Folding the box

Rub embossing buddy over a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock, stamp the large leaf (Falling for Leaves) in Versamark ink an sprinkle with gold embossing powder; heat with Heat Tool until shiny bright gold; cut out with large leaf die (Detailed Leaves Thinlets). Here we go:

1. Cut 4 "box" pieces using the box die (Lots to Love dies) from Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper (note: use the Magnetic Platform but do NOT use the Precision Base plate. Any time you have score lines in a framelit dies, do not use the Precision plate--it will cause the score lines to be cut, not scored)

2. Cut off from each piece--
*one side flap (be sure to cut the same side from each piece)--see small black arrow at the bottom
*the small flap near the box top on the side that you did not cut off the side flap--see small black arrow at the top

Parts3. Score across each piece at 1 3/4 from the bottom (where the 2 black arrows are pointing). Fold on the score line and on 3 of the flaps, place Tear & Tape near the bottom edge (not near the fold line) on the "wrong" side.

4. Place Tear and Tape on the side flaps (see where the big black arrow is pointing. Remove the topping and adhere to the side of the next piece (where you already cut off the side flap). After you connect all 4--your box will be assembled except for the bottom.

5. Cut up on each box corner from the bottom to the cross score mark (1 3/4" score line)..this will be the bottom flap. Fold in the bottom flap that does NOT have Tear and Tape on it. The remove the tape topping from the opposite bottom flap and adhere to the first folded flap. Remove the tape topping from another flap and fold onto the folded flaps; repeat with the 4th flap. Your box bottom is completed. Bottom

6. Cut a 1 X 12" piece of designer paper, using liquid glue on the "good" side about 1 1/2" from each end---adhere this handle to the inside of the box---leaving the handle as long as you want. Fold down the curved flaps and,  if desired secure to basket side with dimensionals (Item # 140430).

Stuff with goodies and you are ready for Easter gift-giving!
