We're using a Granny Apple Green base with a Forever Plain embossed layer on top.

The top layer is in Lemon Lime Twist with the circle cut out to show through the Espresso underlayer giving us that great contrast with the other colors.

The giraffe is stamped on Peach Pie cardstock to limit the amount of coloring we need to do--with this as our base we can just color in the dots and be done!

The 3 leaves are tucked around the giraffe providing a fun tropical effect.

We stamped the Party Animal greeting in Granny Apple Green ink to coordinate with our background.

Last we added the shine with our Holographic Resin Dots in a straight line under the greeting!

Stop back by next week to see which new set we stamp with then!

We start with our base of Coastal Cabana which will be a wonderful contrast for the other colors we'll be using. The background is a subtle dotted stripe embossed with Lines of Friendship die.

The tub of popcorn dual colors are achieved by using the Real Red and Daffodil Delight Stampin'Write markers instead of our usual ink pads...this is a really fun way to achieve two (or more) colors on a single stamp. It's best to use the flat side of the brush tip of the marker. If your stamped image is a bit light--reapply the ink with each marker and that usually creates a deeper colored image.

The 3 kernals of popped corn are stamped in Daffodil ink and die cut--they are "popped" on with dimensionals and at cute angles giving the appearance of random popping.

The verse is stamped in black ink on a white cardstock label and adhered over the tub with dimensionals. This greeting can be substituted with others such as a Happy Birthday from the Simply Said set.

Come back next week to see what NEW set we'll be using then!

The greetings in this new stamp set have that lovely "wave" at the end of them...so you could use most of them for a male oriented card as well as for the ladies.

Our base is, of course, Thick Basic White cardstock with a layer of white embossed with the Soft Waves folder.

The focal p0int layer is Balmy Blue on which we begin with the 'celebrate' greeting in black ink near the bottom.

Using the dies from one of the new bundles (Sunrise Sailing) we die cut the sailboat from Real Red cardstock and the double sails from white. This is popped up over the 'wave' tail of the greeting with dimensionals.

The seaguls are die cut from Navy carstock (also from Sunrise Sailing) and positioned to give a bit of depth to the 'picture.' This is layered on a thin border of Navy to give us that great contrast.

Stop by next week to see what new set we'll be using then.

Note: If you haven't joined the monthly Card Club with NO obligations keep watching your emails for the current club in your email (5-15-24)--you have until 5-22 to sign up.

3. Cut Night of Navy cardstock 4 1/8 X 3 1/8; adhere to center of card front.

4. Cut Balmy Blue 3 X 4

We began using the thick white cardstock & a Balmy Blue layer gives us a beautiful "sky" background on which to layer our mountains.

This is topped with the white layer with a square die cut providing our picture view. The embossing is done with the Forever Plaid folder--great design to coordinate with the outdoors.

The back mountain is die cut from Gorgeous Grape & the die imprints those lovely crevices that make us feel right there on the mountainside. The forward range of mountains is die cut from Highland Heather--again with the beautiful ridge impressions.

In the foreground we've layered the greenery in Shaded Spruce adding tons of depth to our scene. Adding two evergreen trees "outside" our view really accents the natural feeling.

We've used the Thinking of You die cut with the Thoughtful Moments hybrid--however, any of the greetings in this set could be substituted which makes this design an absolute must to have in your stash! Keep a few of these on hand & place the appropriate sentiment when it's time to send the card!

Come back next week to see what NEW set we'll be using then!
