Creating with Painted Stripes an Online Exclusive

Today we're Creating with Painted Stripes an Online Exclusive product. This is an stunning full card background stamp that appears as if it were painted with a paint brush giving the stripes a beautifully "paint-like" texture.
This type of image works well with small pieces (as with today's card) or as a total background image. You can make it startlingly bright with lots of contrast or you can make it subtle as with todays card.

& this is our card for today...
The new beautiful Lovely Garden Designer paper was layered on Garden Green cardstock base. A smaller central piece of Soft Seafoam cardstock was used for our focal point..
Stamping the Painted Stripes in Soft Seafoam ink gives us a lovely soft background. We then layered the leaf die cut in Garden Green over which we adhered the gold foil "Celebrate" die from the Wanted to Say Dies.
We added a touch of sparkle with the Opal Rounds in yellow which pulls in the bit of yellow in the designer paper background.

Directions:
1. Cut Garden Green cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score longside at 4 1/4 (card base).
2. Cut Lovely Garden designer paper 4 1/8 X 5 3/8; adhere to card front.
3. Cut Soft Seafoam cardstock 3 X 4; stamp Painted Stripes in Soft Seafoam ink; adhere to card front.
4. Die cut leaf trio from Garden Green cardstock; adhere to lower left of soft seafoam.
5. Die cut 'Celebrate' (Wanted to Say) from gold foil; adhere to lower part of soft seafoam.
6. Adhere 1 large and 2 small yellow Opal rounds--see sample for placement
