Today we're Creating with New Stampin'Up! Online Exclusive Resourceful Rusty Stamp Set. When you're looking for a really cute set that's quick and easy to use--Resourceful Rusty is your stamp set.

We decided that our Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper is just the perfect background for today's project. Beginning with a cardbase of Crumb Cake we added a narrow border of Very Vanilla to set off the Boho/Crumb plaid for our base.

Wanting to stamp on Very Vanilla we added another narrow border of black to make the focal point pop.  The coordinating second peice of designer paper gives us a bit of contrast to the background while still remaining in that color scheme.  

Coloring was quick and easy with the Blends using Real Red, Crumb Cake and Granny Apple Green, The bling is from the Neutrals  Matte Dots (another Online Exclusive product) that is a perfect match for the designer paper.

Directions:

1. Cut Crumb Cake cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base)

2. Cut Very Vanilla cs 4 X 5 1/4; adhere to front of card; cut designer paper (Timeless Plaid) 3 7/8 X 5 1/8; adhere to vanilla layer

3. Cut Black CS 2 3/8 X 4 1/8; adhere to card center

4. Cut Very vanilla 2 1/4 X 4

    *Stamp greeting in Memento ink at top
    *Stamp image in Memento ink below
    *Color with Blends: Dark Real Red, Light/Dark Crumb Cake, Light Granny Apple Green

5. Cut coordinating designer paper 1 1/4 X 2; adhere to bottom of vanilla; cut Early Espresso cardstock 3/8 X 2; adhere adjacent above coordinating designer paper

6. Add 2 small Pecan Pie dots (Neutral Matte Dots) beside the greeting; add 3 large Pecan dots on the lower right (see sample for placement).

Today we're Creating with All Zipped Up Dies - a New Online Exclusive. This is a super cute set that can appeal to all generations and for guys as well as the ladies.

This is today's creations...

with a bi closer look...

Our base card is Thick Basic White cardstock which peeks through the unzipped part of the sweater. The sweater is cut from Boho Blue & using the zipper die.  After die cutting the sweater was run through the Dashing Designs embossing folder to give us that cute nubby texture.

The zipper tab is die cut from Silver Foil as well as the greeting (Wanted to Say). 

We built the necklace using the silver cord (Gold & Silver cord) and a tiny heart die cut also from the silver foil. We embedded a large Basic Rhinestone Jewel in the heart for that added sparkle.

Directions:

1. Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 4 1/4 X 11; score long side at 5 1/2 (card base).

2. Cut Boho Blue 4 X 5 1/4; die cut with zipper in middle of upper side; run through Dashing Designs embossing folder.

3. Die cut zipper tab from Silver Foil and attach to bottom of zipper with glue dot.

4. Cut approximately 3" silver cord--forming a V adhere the ends to the inside of the zipper with glue dots--see sample for placement. Adhere bottom of V with a glue dot

5. Die cut small heart from Silver Foil-adhere with mini dimensional at the bottom of the V; adhere a large Basic Rhinestone Jewel to heart center

6. Die cut 'celebrate' (Wanted to Say Dies) from Silver Foil and adhere to sweater near bottom--see sample for placement.

Today we're Creating with Painted Stripes an Online Exclusive product. This is an stunning full card background stamp that appears as if it were painted with a paint brush giving the stripes a beautifully "paint-like" texture.

This type of image works well with small pieces (as with today's card) or as a total background image. You can make it startlingly bright with lots of contrast or you can make it subtle as with todays card.

& this is our card for today...

The new beautiful Lovely Garden Designer paper was layered on Garden Green cardstock base. A smaller central piece of Soft Seafoam cardstock was used for our focal point..

Stamping the Painted Stripes in Soft Seafoam ink gives us a lovely soft background. We then layered the leaf die cut in Garden Green over which we adhered the gold foil "Celebrate" die from the Wanted to Say Dies.

We added a touch of sparkle with the Opal Rounds in yellow which pulls in the bit of yellow in the designer paper background.

1. Cut Garden Green cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score longside at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut Lovely Garden designer paper 4 1/8 X 5 3/8; adhere to card front.

3. Cut Soft Seafoam cardstock 3 X 4; stamp Painted Stripes in Soft Seafoam ink; adhere to card front.

4. Die cut leaf trio from Garden Green cardstock; adhere to lower left of soft seafoam.

5. Die cut 'Celebrate' (Wanted to Say) from gold foil; adhere to lower part of soft seafoam.

6. Adhere 1 large and 2 small yellow Opal rounds--see sample for placement

Today we're Creating with Arched Wishes a New Online Exclusive! Isn't it fun to get a whole new set of products every other month! And...best part is that this one coordinates with the Everyday Arch dies already online.

Here's todays creation using both...

& a bit closer look...

We selected the Full of Life Desinger Series Paper for our background since it was very lively and filled with tons of bright and cheerful color. This was layered onto a thin border of Coastal Cabana and then onto the card base of Daffodil Delight. 

Since the greeting is arch-shaped...it was an easy step to position it on the white die cut arch just where we want it to fit...then lay the cupcake on the white arch beneath it. Now lay the clear block on top of the stamps...this way you can stamp multiples at the same time without having to position each time!

We added a few "sparkles" with the new Spoked Sequins in the center to really create a party atmosphere.

2. Cut Coastal Cabana cardstock 4 1/8 X 5 3/8; adhere to card front.

3. Die cut Basic White cardstock with largest arch (Everyday Arches):

    *Position the greeting & cupcake stamps on the arch; lay clear block on top; ink up with Memento ink and stamp
    *Color images with Blends: L/D Daffodil Delight & D Pool Party; use Wink of Stella on icing.
    *Stamp 3 "sparkles" around the cupcake---see sample for placement & add 3 large Daffodil Spoked Sequins to centers.  Add large Rhinestone to candle flame.
