12 Weeks of Christmas Week 12 (Part 1) Quick & Easy Thank You Cards

With the big day behind us we're designing 12 Weeks of Christmas Week 12 (Part 1) Quick & Easy Thank You Cards. After receiving those lovely & thoughtful gifts we need to say 'thanks' but we're still recovering from all the activities so we want to make these pretty but quick & easy.

The stamps we're using this week is the Regal Floral set...

Screenshot 2024-12-18 114416This is today's quick card...

PetuniaWe began with a large white frame of Distressed Tile embossing--one of those folders that gives you a lovely but subtle all over design.

Our triple flower is stamped in Petunia Pop---we're a bit weary of the red and green combo by now so a fresh new look is what we are after.  The leaves are an awesome single stamp giving plenty of green leaves and an additional sprig.

We sparkled up the flower centers with silver Drusy embellishments.

To add a bit of texture we used the dotted stamp also in Petunia---stamping off first before stamping on our card decreases a bit of the ink and makes the stamped image a bit more subtle.

We added a very narrow border of Petunia around the stamped layer for some needed contrast.

Stop by Thursday to see what we are creating then with this set.

TagBy this time Christmas is less than a week away and our gift tags need to be quick, simple and gorgeous... that's what we've done here..... first the background is die cut from Boho Blue cardstock & a hole punched in one of the lobes.

Cut approximately 12" of silver cord...loop through the punched hole and your tag is ready for gifting!

12 Weeks of Christmas Week 10 (Part 1) Simply Quick Card Using One of a Kind

Our card for today....

Carda bit closer

Card cu

To achieve quick & simple working with layers for your base to achieve a finished look without much effort--we layered Boho Blue on the base & added the white focal point.

To avoid using an embossing folder to spice up the background we used a blending brush in the easiest technique possible.... first load your brush with ink (Boho Blue) by rolling it around on the rounded bristles...then start your hand in circular motion before you hit the cardstock & beginning in the center spiral out...reload/repeat until you like the density of blue shadow....always starting in the center & spiraling outward.

Then we stamped the large snowflake in the center with Misty Moonlight & the 3 smaller snowflakes in Boho Blue. Note: Another quick technique is to mount all 3 of the small snowflakes on one block...this way you ink once & stamp once for each application

The greeting is stamped in Misty Moonlight on a white rectangle--I measured mine (see below) but you can simply cut it out with your Paper Snips. Add this to the center of the large snowflake with mini dimensionals.

You can be finished at this point or add 3 rhinestones in a triangle using the centers of the small snowflakes.

3. Cut Basic White cardstock 3 5/8 X 4 3/4

*Stamp the large snowflake in Misty Moonlight in center
*Mount  3 small snowflakes on one block & vstamp in Boho Blue in the upper left, reink & again in the lower right

12 Weeks of Christmas Week 9 (Part 1) Using Hang an Ornament Bundle

Today we're exploring 12 Weeks of Chrismas Week 9 (Part 1) Using Hang an Ornament Bundle. We're creating the quickest gift card holder you can imagine. We're nearing the time when time is of the essence and we're targeting "super look" with minimal effort!

Here's the Hang an Ormament Bundle

Screenshot 2024-11-26 133658

here's our gift card holder...

Gchand with the pullout

Gch pulled upIsn't that awesome! Yes, we take an envelope, seal it, punch a half circle in one end...cover the front with a lovely designer series paper and decorate it with an ornament! The greeting in this set is just perfect for a gift card holder--Just for you!

The inside pull up is half a sheet of cardstock, scored in the middle, punch a hole in the top of one side and loop through the "pull up" ribbon--in our case we matched the ribbon that wraps the card and ties in a bow on the front.

Note: I used to cut down the cardstock inside to about 4 X 11 (scoring at 5 1/2)...but I found using the whole half sheet actually made the withdrawal much more smooth.

Quick,  easy, adorable!
