Creating Another Halloween or Fall Card Using the Scenic Pumpkin Patch Stamps
Part Two of Week #1 in 12 Weeks of Christmas Using Scraps for Gift Tags

12 Weeks of Christmas Begins with Using Scraps for Gift Tags

This year's 12 Weeks of Christmas Begins with Using Scraps for Gift Tags. We are beginning Christmas projects with gift tags...because every year I'm going to make all my gift tags & at 10P on Christmas Eve I'm madly finishing up those last minute tasks that pop up every single year & still have not made my first gift tag for the family!

So we are beginning now so that on Christmas Eve when those last minute tasks loom in front of us...our gifts will be wrapped using our own handmade tags. And what better way to begin our holiday preparations than to use up some scrap paper to make our tags.

We have a perfect stamp and die set this year to create our tags---it's the Christmas Labels bundle...here's what that looks like...

This is truly a useful set not just for our tags but also for our cards & other projects this year...so  great set on have on hand from beginning to end.

Here's today' tag...

Large

Isn't this an awesome base? I love scrolly fancywork and this has it in spades.  The fun part is that the fanciness is already built into the die and it runs through the die machine like a champ. If you use the die brush & foam mat (#149655) before you take it out of the die--you'll also reduce the amount of small bits you need to remove by hand..

The absolute super part of this bundle is that this perfect greeting is designed to fit right in that die cut. We chose to use Real Red ink on our white tag....but you can vary the tag base &  ink to create innumerable combos to fit your wrapping papers.

The cute little peppermint dots are just perfect to add that extra special touch to this tag. Of course, you can use a ton of other embellishments to adorn your creations--what's in your embellishment bin?

One of my favorite wrapping papers that I have on hand for the holidays is silver and white--so I'm envisioning using white cardstock and Boho Blue in for some fantastic coordination.

Now in about an hour--you can crank out nearly all the tags you'll be needing for the holiday AND use up your scraps to do so.

Stop back Thursday to see out next Christmas tag...and a great idea too!
