Creating a Simple Get Well Card Using Stampin'Up! Bird's Eye View Stamp Set

Today we're Creating a Simple Get Well Card Using Stampin'Up! Bird's Eye View Stamp Set. This little set is a sleeper---it's been with us a couple of years and each time I bring it out I have the best time designing with it!

Here's the Bird's Eye View stamp set...

Here's our card for today...

Get well

And a bit closer look...

Get well cu

Our background is from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper--it's my favorite design in that pack...it's a fun array of different wood hues stained with unusual colors for wood.

The Feel Better Soon greeting is from the Wanted to Say die set. The underlay is cut from Coastal Cabana. The over lay is cut from the copper Textured Metallic foil...not only does that give us a lovely warm shine but also a bit of texture to the words too. This double layering provides a professional appearance to the greeting & sets off the lettering quite nicely

The little owl is such a cutie standing on the "F"--we popped a huge set of spectacles on him to spice up his face.

We topped off the card with 3 large Textured Dots above the owl.

I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

Stop by Thursday  to see what we're creating with this set!

We used a nifty flag to the top & the banner is hooked to the blimp with a piece of gold cord.

The outer strips of white are embossed with the Swirly embossing folder which looks like swirling winds around our blimp.

I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

And a bit closer look...

Sea cu

What a fun card! Looking through the porthole we see the yellow submarine zooming by the a school of fish along the sea bottom.

First we cut the port hole in the white cardstock. Then we created the porthole border using 2 circles (these are Deckled Circle dies) forming the 'rim' and layered this over the port hole. Recognize the bolts? Yep, those are the new Industrial Trinkets from the Annual catalog.

We stamped the submarine in Daffodil Delight on white cardstock & punched it out with the builder punch. We added the periscope & the propeller punched out of silver foil.

Our background sea is created with the blending brush & Pool Party ink. The sandy bottom is stamped in Crumb Cake. Our 2 schools of fish are stamped in Calypso Coral and Garden Green. To top it all off we use the bubble stamp in Coastal Cabana.

I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

Creating a Simple Birthday Card Using the Frames & Florals Designer Series Paper

Today we're Creating a Simple Birthday Card Using the Frames & Florals Designer Series Paper. Tuesday we designed a Get Well Card using this set of paper & dies...if you missed it check it out here Click here to see Tuesday's card.

As we mentioned Tuesday--this is a super set of papers & die cuts to quickly and easily create multiple cards because everything coordinates in color and in imagery. In case you missed it..here's the photo of the combo.

Screenshot 2024-07-05 142444

This is today's creation...

Arch

with a bit closer look...

Arch cu

For today's creation we began with a layer of the lagoon designer paper...we bordered it with a slim layer of Pretty Peacock to define the edges a bit. Then we layered this unit on a Thick Basic White card base.

We nabbed the greenery arch die cut and positioned it to the left of center. Then layered on the 'happy birthday' die cut from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. This awesome greeting is from the Wanted to Say Dies.

Then to accessorize we added a Pretty Peacock & Gold Bow to the center of the greenery arch and 3 large Pretty Peacock sequins (Sequin Trio) which gave a bit of shine to the right side of the card.

Using this designer paper and die cuts takes all the guesswork out of designing and leaves you plenty of time to design some more!!

I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

Simple Beautiful Get Well Card Design with Frames & Florals Designer Series Paper

Today we're creating a Simple Beautiful Get Well Card Design with Frames & Florals Designer Series Paper. This set of paper and die cuts provide an unlimited number of beautiful cards or memory pages. The most wonderful advantage of using this set is that the designs & colors are totally c0ordinated...no guessing does this go with that...it does!

The pack comes with 3 sheets of designer paper and 3 sheets of die cuts.

Here's a snapshot of the package.....

Screenshot 2024-07-05 142444Here's our card for today...

Feel better

Here's a bit closer look...

Feel better cu

We made the first selection was the 3 3/4 X 5 die cut floral layer--then we just added a slight border of Petal pink cardstock to give it a finished edge.  This unit was then layered on the card base of Lost Lagoon cardstock.  That was pretty enough to stop right there.

Then we worked on the focal point. The Feel Better Soon was die cut using the Wanted to Say die set (it's one of my favorites). This was layered on a die cut of Lost Lagoon using the Nested Essential Layers dies.

It was all topped off with one of the small die cut flowers that coordinated with the flowers in the designer paper die cut and 3 small Petal Pink foil dots (Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems). These gems were just made for this designer paper pack. We popped up this unit with dimensionals in the middle of our card.

I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

Stop by Thursday  to see what we're creating with this set!

Sweet & Simple DIY Card with Sentimental Park Stamps & Dies with Country Lace Paper

We are creating a Sweet & Simple DIY Card with Sentimental Park Stamp & Dies with Country Lace Paper. On Tuesday we created a Thank You card with this complement of stamps, dies and paper. If you missed it check it out here Clcik here to See Tuesday's Card.

Screenshot 2024-06-27 161224This is our card today...

Horizontal

and a closer peek...

Horizontal cuWe chose to use one of the eyelet designs in Misty Moonlight for this card (this was one that we also used on Tuesday's card. We cut a rectangle and then cut it diagonally into 2 identical pieces.

These were layered over Misty Moonlight cardstock on a white card base. By splitting the DSP we can use a smaller piece that if we covered the entire card front with it. Additionally, this provides tons of interest by leaving a lovely swath of Misty diagonally across the card center.

The white die cut is to "die for" since it's all one wonderful piece --the label area is large enough to contain many of the greetings in this set and is bounded by tons of tiny white flowers to give you an entire complementary garden. We simply added  small navy flowers to spice it up a bit along with the rhinestone jewels which gave us tremendous sparkle.

I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

Quick & Sweet Card Using Sentimental Park Stamps & Dies

Today we're creating a Quick & Sweet Card Using Sentimental Park Stamps & Dies.  We've had this little beauty of a stamp set for a bit of time & sometimes it's fun to nab one of these and pair it with something new like our new Country Lace Designer Series Paper.

This is the Sentimental Park stamp set & dies

Screenshot 2024-06-27 161205 Screenshot 2024-06-27 161310

This is the Country Lace DSP

Screenshot 2024-06-27 161224

And here's today's card

Vertical

with a bit closer look

Vertical cuWhat a lovely pairing! The Country Lace DSP has several designs that coordinate well together--so we selected 2 in a Misty Moonlight & white configuration. Leaving a strip of white under layer showing between the 2 designs leaves us space to stamp our greeting and add a couple of jewels to spice up the middle of the card

Using a stem die cut from Shaded Spruce we selected Night of Navy as our flower hue---it's darker than the Misty and also contrasts well with the white center layer.

We added tons of sparkle by using the large and medium Basic Jewel Rhinestones as the flower centers.

What a simple design but what an awesome combo--something old and something new!

I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

Stop by Thursday  to see what we're creating with this set!

4. Stamp verse in Night of Navy ink on right side of center in the white space.

5. Die cut leaf stem from Shaded Spruce; adhere to left of card

6. Die cut 1 large and 3 small flowers from Night of Navy cardstock; adhere these to green stem using mini dimensionals. Adhere large rhinestone to large flower center and medium rhinestones to the small flower centers.

Simply Simple Classic Male Card Using the Greatest Adventure Train Image

Today we're designing a Simply Simple Clasic Male Card Using the Greatest Adventure Train Image. Tuesday we used this same stamp set for another quite simple card...if you missed it check it out here click here for Tuesday's card.

The Greatest Adventure is an Online Eclusive stamp set which just means you won't see it in the catalogs but only when you go online to shop the online store. You can order this set using any way you normally place orders--through me your demonstrator or online yourself.

This is the set we are using...

Screenshot 2024-06-20 181257

Here's today's creation...

Balmy

And a bit closer look...

Balmy cu

When we have such a predominant image it is often best to keep the card design simple--that way we don't get too much going on and end up with clutter or overpower the design with the background.

We chose the Balmy Blue ink for today's card and kept the coordinating layer in Balmy and White. Just giving the focal point a couple of layers does the trick. The white background layer used the Dashing Designs embossing folder....which is perfect for this--it gives us a bit of texture but doesn't pull our attention away from the main design.

The rhinestone embellishments give a bit of sparkle & enhance the overall layout, but again, do not draw the eye away. Simply Simple.

Leaving the focal point without a greeting gives us a wonderful card that we can hold in our stash for just the right occasion...you can add your sentiment inside when your occasion arises.

I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

Stop by next week to see what we're creating!
