I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

Here's today's creations....

Circle

And  a bit closer...

Circle cu

When using such a detailed stamp set it's quite easy to make a simple card that looks anything but simple.  The shading and detailed gradations are built into the stamp set...so stamping in a single ink color looks brilliant without too much effort on our part.

The Crumb Cake ink in which we stamped the ducks coordiates beautifully wih the gingham designer series paper (from the Perrenial Lavender DSP) The gingham gives the card a bit of the country as well as a masculine bent. The slightly spattered design lends itself to the more casual appearance.

The focal image is  stamped on the stitched circle from the Stylish Shapes dies. This is layered on the Early Espresso circle cut with the Deckled circles dies--using the 2 different style of circles really adds tons to the interest of this card.

Adding that last touch of sparkle with the Sparkle Gems peps up the design to the next level of fun.

Stop by next week to see what we're creating with with a brand new stamp in the new annual catalog!

Handmade Male Card Using Online Exclusive Feathered Flight Stamps

Today we're making a Handmade Male Card Using Online Exclusive Feathered Flight Stamps. The OE products are available through any ordering mechanism but you won't find them in the catalog--you'll find them online.

Here's the stamp set we're using...

Screenshot 2024-04-19 111111This is a Distinktive stamp set..this means all the shading is done for you in the stamp itself..this makes creating super easy to do.

This is our male card...

Lagoon

And a bit closer...

Lagoon cu

Our color scheme is based on the Pool Party-Lost Lagoon-Pretty Peacock colors. Having three colors that coordinate well makes creativity a breeze.

We first stamped images on the Lagoon layer--this becomes our background---sort of like having a designer paper background. We then put that layer through the Painted Texture embossing folder--this creates a "rough" masculine texture.

Our focal point was stamped on Pool Party and this stamp definitely features the shading that is so beautiful in the Distinktive stamps.

Just a touch of sparkle with the Basic Jewell Rhinestones sets off our center square.

I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

Stop by Thursday to see what we're creating with this set!

Granny zinnia cu

Don't these plump littile posies scream summertime! We positioned 3 beautiful zinnia blooms in a row across the middle of the card bed. The top of the bed is Granny Apple Green dry embossed with the Zinnia embossing 3D folder.  That gives us a lovely bed of zinia images on which to plant our 3 pumpkin pie blossoms.

The lower half of hte bed is Lemon Lime Twist with Lemon Lolly lattice designer paper. This is from the Flowering Zinnia DSP--this set is just so bright & brilliant that it makes you smile just to look at it.

Here's today's card...

Vanilla zinnia

with a closer look...

Vanilla zinnia cu

This card nearly screams Spring & Summer with those brilliant bright colors and charm!

We used 3 columns of Pumpkin Pie Designer paper sprinkled with tiny Daffodil flowers as our back drop.

The Lemon Lime Twist banner adds a bit of contrast with a "ribbon" of designer paper across the middle to add the summery touch.

The label is die cut with the Perennial Postage die (a set of adorable concentric postage dies).

The focal flower consists of 3 layers of zinnia petals...by letting the petals intersperse with each other layer we construct a jaunty bright zinnia.

A bit of shine was added with the sprig & the center circle of the flower cut from gold foil.

We can't leave without sparkle... three gold Sparkle Gems twinkle prettily as the light catches the facets.

I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

Creating a Super Easy Handmade Card with Magnolia Mood Dies

Boho magnolia

& a bit closer...

Boho magnolia c

We began with Basic White cardbase and layered that beautiul Boho Blue designer paper on top...this pattern works really well for backgrounds because it has some detail but doesn't pop out and grab your attention away from the focal point.

We used the large floral die cut and added the single flower die cut both in Basic White. By adding 3 double leaf dies cuts in Boho Blue has embellished the image but didn't make it too busy.

The flower centers are created with adhesive backed Flat Backed Pearls--those iridescent pearls just add so much charm to image.

A tiny butterly die cut from Holograhic specialty paper coordinate with the iridescent pearls while adding a bit of spice to the overall look.

Quite a simple design but just stunning!

I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

Creating a Handmade Birthday Card with Magnolia Mood Bundle & a Designer Paper Trick

Today we're Creating a Handmade Birthday Card with Magnolia Mood Bundle & a Designer Paper Trick. This gorgeous stamp & die set are quite easy to make stunning cards along with a fun trick with the designer paper.

This is the set we are using today..

Today's birthday card...

Berry Magnolia

closer look...

Berry magnolia cu

I wanted a lovely rich background without much detail showing for the background...the Berry Burst sheet in the Masterfully Made DSP  buwas close but I didn't like the white tear marks ---so, here's the trick to get rid of the white tear marks. Using a blending brush & the Berry Burst ink I "brushed" away the white image in the paper...this also deepened the Berry color.

The designer paper was then cut on a slight angle & layered over white cardstock that is embossed with the Timeworn Type folder.....then using the same blending brush (but not re-inking) I lightly brushed over the white embossing to tone down the white glare a& provide a soft pink background coordinating perfectly with the berry DSP.

A bit of sparkle was added with the bud stem die cuts from White Glimmer paper & 3 rhinestones.

I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

Stop by Thursday to see our 2nd card using this set!

This cutie of a set is just adorable...

Here's today's sweetie...

Cat

And a bit closer...

Cat cu

We first created our base card from Daffodill Delight. This was topped with a fiesty piece of Designer Series Paper from the Flowering Zinnia set...it's one of my favs in that stack!

We grew a bit of grass using a die from the Sending Love die set (Spring mini catalog) for our kitty to sit in.

Then we created kitty--first the solid image was stamped in Daffodil Delight. Then we stamped the lined overlay in Copper Clay. Now if you have a favorite kitty you can build your own card using coordinating cardstock & designer paper to match or contrast your kitty.

We accented the greeting (same as Tuesday from Latte Love) with gold sequins from the Adhesive Backed Neutral collection.

That little kitten just looks so cute and like it could jump off the card and snuggle in your lap!

This set is a must have for pet lovers!

I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.

Stop by Tuesday to see what new Online Exclusive product we'll be using to design!
