January 23, 2024
Today we're Creating with SAB Free Softly Sophisticated Bundle & the Screct of the Freesia Ribbon! Last Thursday we used this set to create a lovey & quick card. If you missed it check it out here...Click to See Thursday's Card
Today we're using the same FREE Bundle in another stylish way PLUS we'll be showing you a sweet Freesia and silver ribbon you haven't seen before!!!
Here's today' card...
& here's a closer view..
As you can see we used the softly sophisticated folder again for this card...another example of how well this folder adds pizzazz but doesn't overpower your design.
The white stamped layer was die cut using one of the Perennial Postage dies...isn't that just the cutest! What a difference that makes to the overall appearance of the card.
Now remember I promised to tell you the secret of the Freesia & silver ribbon. This ribbon is the Silver & White Sheer ribbon we had in the Holiday mini catalog this past fall. It carried over so we can still use it & purchase it! So--where'd the Freesia come from? We laid the ribbon on a scrap paper & used a dauber to rub over the ribbon with Freesia ink. The more you rub on the darker the color gets---so you control the depth of color you get. Now you know how to get any color ribbon you need to coordinate with your projects!
The center of our flowers are the Purple Fine Shimmer dots--these are new in the Spring mini catalog & come in 3 shades to match your project.
I'll give you step by step directions for today's project below followed by the supply list.
Stop by Thursday to see another project created with a Sale-a-bration Freebie!
