Creating Autumn Again with Stampin'Up! Perched in a Tree Stamps & Aspen Dies

Today we are Creating Autumn Again with Stampin'Up! Perched in a Tree Stamps & Aspen Dies. Tuesday our card used the same stamps & dies with the added All About Autumn Designer Series Paper...if you missed it check it out here Click here to see Tuesdays card.

Here's todays design...

Wood

And a closer look...

Woods cu

Using the "woods" die gives us a spectacular silhouette behind which we can create any number of wonderful scenes. Today's scene is just a simple appearance of fallen autumn leaves.  This is accomplished using the two background stamps in this set. First we stamp the solid image in Pumpkin Pie. Then using the more dotted image we stamp in Cajun Craze. We stamp only in the lower portion of the layer and the remainder simulates a beautiful sunny fall day.

Using the small leaf die and gold foil paper we add 2 leaves on the card front to shine in the sun on their way down from the trees.

This is one of those cards that is great for any greeting occasion--for men or women--one of those that you want in your stash for just those days when time is of the essence but a beautiful card is required.

I'll give you step by step directions for today's card below followed by the supply list.

Stop by next week to see what we're creating!

Creating with Stampin'Up! Perched in a Tree Stamps & Aspen Dies Using All Aboutn Autumn DSP

Today we're Creating with Stampin'Up! Perched in a Tree Stamps & Aspen Dies using All About Autumn DSP. I'm really getting in to my autumn aura...it's my absolute favorite season of the year (except maybe Christmas--they run neck and neck)!

The new holiday mini has a set of designer papers that just makes me drool--the All About Autumn....so today I decided to challenge myself to use the back foil-embedded side of those papers...here's today's creation...

Leaves

And a closer look..

Leave cuThis is definitely one of those cards that appears much better in real life than in photos---the gold foil embedded in both of the designer papers used here is quite stunning---I just can't seem to capture that in the photo--do I need photography help? Yep!!!

As mentioned the back side of all the designs in All About Autumn featured gorgeous images with embedded gold foil....the richness is hard to describe and to photograph.

This card features the lovely 'thank you' greeting along with three small leaves die cut from Moody Mauve, Pretty Peacock and the new Oxidized Copper specialty paper. Notice that the Mauve & Peacock leaves have a gold shimmer--this was created using a dauber with Gold Enamel paint..it gives that warm glow to any of the cardstock--almost like creating your own designer paper.

To top off this image we used the Mauve Speckled Dots--just a touch more of sparkle to rev up the card to the next level.

I'll give you step by step directions for today's card below followed by the supply list.

Stop by Thursday to see what we're creating with this new set!

Balmy

Just a bit closer look...

Balmy cuYou can see what a pop that background image gives to the simple birthday greeting...and just as in Tuesday's card...you can adapt this image color to any card base or color combo.

Our designer paper is from the Subtles set...these are wonderful sets of paper since you can match or coordinate any color in the Stampin'Up!  families. The large polkadots are perfect with the balloon design.

Speaking of the balloon--this balloon (cut with the Beautiful Balloons dies) is cut from the new Silver/Gold Glimmer paper with adhesive backing! Yes--isn't that wonderful--it's an Online Exlcusive product (#162288). You'll want to nab this soon before it goes out of stock--this set of papers is only available while supplies last.

The greeting is from the Biggest Wish set ---a sort of mix and match set of greeting words that you can arrange any way you want to fit your card front design (and use on th inside too).

I'll give you step by step directions for today's card below followed by the supply list.

Stop by next week to see what we're creating!

Creating with Stampin'Up! Oceanfront Stamp Set in the background

Today we're Creating with Stampin'Up! Oceanfront Stamp Set in the Background! The summer season is ending but we're not quite ready to end the use of our Oceanfront stamp set.  Instead of featuring it as a hot weather focal point we're using that awesome graded image as a background.

Here's the Oceanfront set where you can see those images that we can use for backgrounds...

Capture

Here's today's card...

Curry

And a bit closer look

Curry cu

You can see how adding that spectacular background just makes the focal image pop! The stem & flowers are from the Sending Smiles stamp set and are perfect as silhouette stamps on the oceanfront background layer.

The wonderful part is that you can use that ocean front background stamp in any color you want to coordinate or contrast with your card base and stamp set.

The flower centers are accented wiht the 2023-2035 In Color dots and since we usualy use 3 embellishments the smallest dot is used to fill in the empty area under the largest flower.

No end of summer vision is complete without our brass butterflies off in the distance. We tied it all up with a glimmer of sparkle using the Vanilla & Gold bow.

I'll give you step by step directions for today's card below followed by the supply list.

Stop by next Thursday to see what we're creating with this new set!

Creating Another Simple Beautiful Card Using Stampin'Up! New Magical Meadow Dies.

Today we're Creating Another Simple Beautiful Card Using Stampin'Up! New Magical Meadow Dies. Tuesday we created a stunning card with this set...if you missed it check it out here Click here to see Tuesday's card.

Again we are only using the dies from this set that are not stamp-based...

DiesHere's today's design...

White

And a closer look...

White cuOur base for this card is Basic White--this helps to dramatize the designer paper cuts (Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper #162133)--see how it makes the designer paper pop!

The die cuts for this card (Magical Meadow Dies #162143) were selected from the paper images--they coordinate so well with the paper designs. One cut was from the Silver foil and the 2nd cut is from Blueberry Bushel which is one of the colors used in the paper.

Check out the Starry Sky Metallic Mesh Trim bow--what a great match and it adds a bit more sparkle.

We're using the Faceted Gem Trio again but this time the Lost Lagoon color--this blends nicely wiht the paper images as well as the Pool Party cardstock with the greeting.

The greeting (Go To Greetings) was stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink and so matches the die cut and the images in the paper. By using this greeting set you can build a stash of these cards and know that you'll have a greeting for all your occasions.

Stop by next Tuesday to see what new set we'll be using!

Simple Card Using Stampin'Up! Magical Meadow Dies

Today we're creating a Simple Card Using Stampin'Up! Magical Meadow Dies. This set of dies can really be used without use of any stamps in the stamp set---the dies that are not 'stamp based' are an excellent set that coordiate fantastically with the Winter Meadow Designer Series Papers (#162133).

These are the specific non-stamp based dies...

Dies

Here's today's card...

Boho

And a closer look...

Boho cu

This charming designer paper is created with the watercolor "look" that softens the images and allows the blending of the colors in the background of your projects. This particular design is one of my favorites...if you do memory keeping--this page alone is absolutely stunning as a background..check this out...

Dsp sheetThe featured die cut is from the "grape" foil in the Silver Foil (Online Exclusive product) so we get that deep grape that blends nicely with the other colors but gives that super shine to add character to the card.

The ink is Orchid Oasis (an In Color) that surprisingly just makes that greeting pop--it was a serendipity selection that is always a fun experience when creating--to find something beautiful that is unexpected!

The embellishments are the Faceted Gems Trio (#162148)--they truly are 'gems' that just pop pizzazz into the design.
