**Supply packet contains cut/scored cardstock, die cuts, embellishments, tied bows. Supplies not included-- stamped images, adhesives, or any other coloring tools.

Another Design Using Stampin'Up! Free Beautifully Happy Stamp Set

Today we're creating Another Design Using Stampin'Up! Free Beautifully Happy Stamp Set. Tuesday we created a NO coloring card. If you missed it check it out here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2023/01/creating-a-no-coloring-design-with-stampinup-free-beautifully-happy-stamp-set.html

Here's today's creation...

Circle

...a bit closer

Circle cuWe're using the same major image as we used Tuesday but today we're coloring with the Blends. You can see when you compare the images that using the Blends deepens the colors compared with the stamped coloring.

Notice the plain circle behind the scalloped circle--this is the new Fine Shimmer--we used the Soft Succulent in this card---the green is such that it blends nicely with the Shaded Spruce and Mint Macaron colors.

Again we used the dragonfly as the major embellishment--these little trinkets are quite lovely and are cut to catch the light from many angles.

The background layer is embossed with the Metal Sheet folder--this folder is shown with the motorcycle set and so naturally one would think masculine--but no...this little beauty works well with this feminine design.

Stop back by next week & see another Sale-a-bration item in use!

I'll give you full directions below followed by the supply list to order your supplies.

Remember:

*If you use this month's host code (N62GAETS) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

*If you purchase $50 you can select from the Sale-a-bration brochure & receive a free product.

Directions:

1. Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut Basic white cardstock 4 X 5 1/4;

    *Put through Metal Place folder
*Cut approximately 16" Soft Succulent ribbon, tie around this layer and tie a bow; adhere to card front.

3. Die cut plain circle (approx 3") from Basic White cardstock

*Stamp flower spray in Memento ink
*Color with Blends: Light Fresh Freesia, Dark Pool Party, & Light Shaded Spruce
*Add Wink of Stella to bud stalk
*Stamp dots in Coastal Cabana (see photo)
*Add large Freesia Milky Dot to large flower center; add 2 small--see photo
    *Add dragonfly with glue dot

4. Die cut plain slightly larger circle from Soft Succulent Shimmer; adhere to back of stamped circle. Use dimensionals to adhere this unit to card.

Creating a NO Coloring Design with Stampin'Up! Free Beautifully Happy Stamp Set!

Today we're Creating a NO Coloring Design with Stampin'Up! Free Beautifully Happy Stamp Set! This set is truly a beautiful image using stamps to create the colored results.  The smart engineering of the "coloring" stamps is that you can add color to three separate areas---this means flowers, buds, & leaves can be different colors.

You can earn this set  by placing an order for $100 from any of the catalogs during Sale-a-bration (Jan - Feb).

Today's creation....

 bit closer look...

Rectangle cu

This stamp set is photopolymer (see through) which makes lining up the outline image & "coloring" image a breeze.  Since all the coloring is done with stamps--this is ideal for those not fond of coloring.

The close up captures the exquisite dragonfly--the photo doesn't do it justice--it catches the light & really adds zing to the card.

This set also contains a set of dots which is super useful in  spots where you need something to get rid of the white space.

You'll see a peek of Freesia shimmer around the focal layer--the new Fine Shimmer paper--it contains Freesia, Succulent & Gold..these shimmers always add that extra interest.

The background folder is the Cane Weave--it's a stunning overall effect with a sort of medium draw of the eye....it works beautifullly with this image.

Stop back by Thursday & see another design using this set!

I'll give you full directions below followed by the supply list to order your supplies.

Remember:

*If you use this month's host code (N62GAETS) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

2. Cut Basic white cardstock 4 X 5 1/4; put through Cane Weave folder and adhere to card front.

3. Cut Basic White cardstock 2 1/2 X 4 1/4

*Stamp stalk of buds in solid image in Coastal Cabana + Wink of Stella
*Stamp greenery in solid image in Shaded Spruce
    *Stamp dots in coastal Cabana

*Using a glue dot add a dragonfly to upper left

4. Cut approximately 10" Fresh Freesia ribbon, tie in bow & add to stem with glue dot

5. Cut 2 strips 1/2 X 4 Freesia Shimmer---add to sides of stamped layer with glue dots

6. Cut Shaded Spruce 4 1/2 X 2 1/4 --add to back of above unit; add this to card front with glue.

Creating Another Card with Stampin'Up! Free In the Country Stamps with NO coloring!

Today we're Creating Another Card with Stampin'Up! Free In the Country Stamps with NO Coloring! Tuesday we designed a card with this same set but did a bit of coloring...if you missed it check it out here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2023/01/designing-with-stampinup-free-in-the-country-stamps-with-a-little-coloring-.html.

Today's creation requires absolutely no coloring! Some of our stampers don't enjoy the coloring experience...others are often in a rush and (even though they enjoy coloring) they don't have the time required. This card is for those stampers....

Road

The images in this stamp set (In the Country #160828) are designed to lend themselves to black and white card designs...they also have a calming atmosphere. This feature makes them ideal for many many occasions--get well, sympathy, birthday, anniversary, thinking of you....can you name an occasion for which this would not be a good image?

We used one of the Fancy Frames dies to create the 'frame' for the stamped image...so this adds tons of interest and focuses the eye on the country road roaming through the field into the woods.  Imagine an early summer evening as the sun is setting and taking a stroll down the lane enjoying a cool evening breeze as you relax into the evening.  That's what I feel when I see this image.

By adding a layer using the Timeworn Type embossing folder we've added just enough interest to the base card to give it a boost above just being "plain."

Stop back by next Tuesday & see another project created with a Sale-a-bration freebie.

2. Cut Basic White cardstock 4 1/8 X 5 3/8, put through Timeworn Type embossing folder and adhere to card front.

3.Die cut "frame" (Fancy Frames) from Basic Black cardstock.

4. Cut Basic White cardstock 1 1/2 X 3

*Stamp image (In the Country #160828) in Memento ink (or other black ink since we are not coloring)

*Adhere this layer to the back of the black frame--use small bits of liquid glue around the edges and attach it to the narrow black interior border of the frame

*Adhere this unit to the card front.

Designing with Stampin'Up! Free In the Country Stamps with a LITTLE Coloring

Today we're Designing with Stampin'Up! Free In the Country Stamps with a LITTLE Coloring.  This pretty little stamp set has two beautiful images...and at first glance you may consider passing it by because it appears to need coloring. Well, I think there are several designs that would lend themselve to quick and easy cards with little to no coloring.

This is the stamp set...In the Country (#160828)

In the country

and here's our first card...

Stairway

As you can see, we did just a small amount of coloring--it makes the image pop--but if you really don't like to color you can just go with no coloring at all. Except for the door the coloring of the plants & flowers is done by dotting with the Blends markers--the images are rather 'vague' so that you don't have to worry about being inside the line....simply dot around the image with the markers.

This is one of those cards that is really useful for just about any occasion--birthdays, anniversaries, thinking of you....well, you get the idea. So it's a good idea to make a stack and have them ready in your stash

The card design itself is quite simple--we outlined the image and the designer paper with a slim black borders--this helps add definition to these two parts of your card. All the cutting takes less than 5 mintues.

Stop back by Thursday & see another project created with a Sale-a-bration freebie.

I'll give you full directions below followed by the supply list to order your supplies.

5. Die cut stitched rectangle (approximately 2 1/4 X 3 1/2) from Basic White cardstock

*Stamp image (In the Country #1608280 in Memento ink.

Creating that Super Quick Card with Stampin'Up! Free Dainty Flowers Designer Paper

Today we're Creating that Super Quick Card with Stampin'Up! Free Dainty Flowers Designer Paper. Tuesday we designed a lovely "Go To" card with the same set of designer paper. If you missed it check it out here...https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2023/01/creating-with-stampinup-free-dainty-flowers-designer-series-paper.html

The card we are making today is so quick and easy you'll be able to make a stack in no time...here it is...

Thurs

and closer...

Thurs cu

So the first thing you'll note is that there is no stamping on here--that's right...this is all designer series paper. This is the two sheets that have the larger border of flowers on both the top and bottom of the sheet. So if you cut down the middle and then slice each half into 4 X 6" piecies you'll get six cards per sheet (that's 12 per pack of paper.

We added a band of ribbon tied in a bow across the stems to "tie" it all together. We also added one of my favorite embellishments--that gorgeous dragonfly to the field of flowers...I think we'll be using that a lot this spring...it's just stunning with lots of detail.

In addition, we've added a small bit of sparkle & shine with the Adhesive-backed Milky Dots. They come in 4 colors so will coordinate with tons of color pallets.

Stop back by next week and see another Sale-a-bration item that you can receive for free and how we are using it!

Directions:

1.Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut Mossy Meadow cardstock 5 3/8 X 4 1/8; adhere to card front.

3. Cut "border" sheet of the designer paper (Dainty Flowers) at the 6" mark across the middle (leaving 2 large borders of flowers).

*Cut one of these at 4" (this leaves 8 X 6 piece that can be cut again at 4" to yield 2 more cards); trim the 6" length to 5 1/4.

*Cut approximately 16" of Parakeet Party ribbon, tie around the designer paper in a bow (anchor the bow with a glue dot).

*Using a glue dot adhere a dragonfly (see photo).

*Adhere one large and 2 small Petal Pink Adhesive-backed Milky Dots--see photo for placement

*Adhere this layer to the mossy layer.

This is today's card...

Tues

& a bit closer look...

Tues cu

The design we chose to use for today's card is the smaller splashes of multiple flowers & greenery--there is a sheet using the same images but a bit larger. We cut the paper on the diagonal to add some interest. By adding the arch of leaves in Garden Green we tie the single images together & bring your eyes to the greeting.

The greeting is from Go To Greetings which means you have 4 selections that will fit this label very well--that's one of the great features of the set--you can find just about whatever you need. This makes this card one of those you'll want to create a bunch to keep in your stash since it will cover a multitude of occasions.

Flower cuAs we mentioned Tuesday, this card base is simple and uses the triple layer for the focal point--thus giving depth to the image without really increasing the depth of the actual card.

The new Cane Weave embossing folder (#160580) is stunning--I'm finding it almost indispensible...it is a bit bolder that some of our overall designs, however it still adds tons of interest while not overpowering the focal point.

We've used the flo #wer garden stamp from the Playing in the Rain set (new spring mini #160551). Again we created the sky by daubering with Balmy Blue. The lovely flowerr in the 'hands' of the owl is created with the Petal Park Builder punch--this little treasure is going to be wildly useful in our spring card making!
