Creating Another Cute Card with Stampin'Up! Best Witches Stamp Set

Today we're Creating Another Cute Card wtih Stampin'Up! Best Witches Stamp Set. Tuesday we used a tea light--if you missed it--check it out here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/09/creating-a-tealight-card-with-stampinup-best-witches-stamp-set.html

Today's card uses the same image plus that adorable green frog!

Card

And a bit closer look...

Card cu

Again, in this card our background features the Black & White designer series paper--this time the diamond shapes. This paper is awesome because one side is the black/gray images and the other side is the same image in black and white--you choose which one coordinates best with your creation for the day!

Loving purples and greens for Halloween colors the Freesia contains that bit of warmth that complements the other warm colors for the season (and it's one of my favorite colors).

We added a sprinkling of the stars colored with Dark Daffodil Delight Blends giving touch of mystery and magic to the scene.

Stop back next week and see what we're creating then!

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Creating a Tealight Card with Stampin'Up! Best Witches Stamp Set!

Today we're creating a Tealight Card with Stampin'Up! Best Witches Stamp Set. What fun to light the fire under the witch's pot and see the sparkling glittering above the stew!

Stamp set

When the room lights are turned off....

Dark

Turning room lights on...

LightSide view..

Side

A secret to the "glow" of the light is to line the inside with gold foil--the reflections & shine provide a lovely warm light giving the perfect effect.

Being one stamp we are hand-cutting to separate the pot to set it right above the tea light. We attached the pot with dimensionals on the window sheet lining the inside of the front panel.

The "stop" is the verse over gold glimmer paper attached  with dimensonals--this height catches the front panel & your card stands perfectly,

The designer paper is the Black & White set which coordinates wonderfully with Halloween designs--stars, dots, zig zag, stripes...etc. The black, gray & white complements all of the Halloween shades.

Stop back by on Thursday to see what else are up to with this set.

Another Lovely Quick Card Created with Stampin'Up! Artistically Inked Stamps & Dies

Today we're creating Another Lovely & Quick Card Created with Stampin'Up! Artistically Inked Stamps & Dies. Tuesday we created a stunning card using black as our contrast...if you missed it check it out here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/10/spectacular-quick-easy-card-with-stampinup-artistically-inked-stamps-ddes.html.

Today we're switching to white die cut...here's today's card...

Hues of happiness

...and a bit closer to check out the focal point...

Hues with

Tuesday's card was a rather uniform background color. Today we're using the Hues of Happiness designer paper and these colors graduate through the rainbow. The section we used as our background uses the deep deep pink flowing into the dark rich yellows.

A black die cut would have been quite pretty but we decided to switch to white because with this designer paper we got a bit more contrast with the white. We also changed the butterfly to white.

Instead of using the Champagne rhinestones we are useing the Iridescent Rhinestones...these are absolutely stunning because they tend to change color somewhat to match or coordinate with the color they are set on. With the gem cut stones they catch the light and send out beautiful little twinkles.

Agian, this is another one of those card designs that would work well with most of the designer papers in this Hues of Happiness stack. What a fun set of cards you can create simply switching the designer paper behind the die cut.

Stop back next week and see what we're creating then!

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Remember: If you use this month's host code (9ADV3U7V) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

Directions:

1. Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score long side at 5 1/2 (card base). Put card front through Timeworn Type Embossing folder.

2. Cut Basic Black cardstock 3 5/8 X 4 7/8; adhere to card front with glue.

3. Cut designer paper (Hues of Happiness) 3 1/2 X 5; adhere to black layer with glue.

4. Die cut large floral image from Basic White cardstock; adhere to designer paper layer with glue

*Adhere 3 large Iridescent rhinestones to large flower center and 1 medium rhinestone to 3 swirls (see photo for placement.

5. Stamp Hello in Memento ink in lower right corner.

6. Die cut small butterfly (Daffodil Dies) from Basic White cardstock & adhere to left of greeting with a glue dot.

Spectacular Quick & Easy Card with Stampin'Up! Artistically Inked Stamps & Dies

Today we're going to create a Spectacular Quick & Easy Card with Stampin'Up! Artistically Inked Stamps & Dies. I needed a beautiful card for a special person and I didn't have but a few minutes---and this is the card I created....

Flirty

and  bit closer look at the focal point...

Flirty cu

The beauty of this floral die is really hard to beat...using it is all you need for your central focus...using the black cardstock for the die cut layered on top of the designer paper from the Splendid Day set gives you that striking effect that highlights every detail in the die.

We've added 3 large Champagne rhinestones to the center of the largest flower and medium ones to the center of 3 swirls...this color of rhinestone blends with many of our colors and appears to "match" perfectly. (Note: I've used it wtih Pumpkin Pie and Pale Papaya and this embellishment is also perfect with those colors.)

Then simply adding the sentiment and the little solid butterfly (Daffodil dies) completes the full effect.

It's hard to beat this card for beauty, simplicity and a short amount of construction time! It's a wonderful one to have in your stash ready to go!

Stop back by Thursday and see what we've done again with this set of dies.

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Creating a Dazzling Card with Stampin'Up! Soft Seedlings Stamp Set

Today we're Creating a Dazzling Card with Stampin'Up! Soft Seedling Stamp Set! Tuesday we used this set in creating a very quick multi-colored(but non-coloring) image. If you missed it check it out here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/09/quick-multi-color-stamping-with-stampinup-soft-seedlings-stamp-set.html

Here's today's card...

Gold

and a closer look at the details..

Gold cuFor those of you who aren't in love with coloring or even the "non-coloring" multi-colors used on Tuesday's card...this card is for you!

Simply ink up this single stamp with Versamark, sprinkle with Gold embossing powder and heat---that's it--the result is absolutely stunning! Simple, quick and easy.

The two gold layers are achieved with the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper which has recently become one of my favorite accent papers---there's a bit of the shiny foil and then it's toned down with the distressing...just simply a beautiful combo to bring some old-world elegance to a modern image.

Stop back next Tuesday and see what wonderful project we're creating next week!

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Quick Multi-color Stamping with Stampin'Up! Soft Seedlings Stamp Set

Today we're exploring Quick Multi-color Stamping with Stampin'Up! Soft Seedlings Stamp Set. This beautiful stamp set features the maple leaf which is my favorite of all leaves. This stamp has the shading built in along with the most exquisite detailing in the leaf veins. Although we aren't using any of the greetings in our card toay the font included in this set is just perfect--a bit casual & flowing--just beautiful.

Capture

Here's our card for today...

Papayaand a bit closer look at the details in the stamped image...

Papaya ncuNow that we've discussed the features of this lovely stamp...here's how we managed to use 2 colors to get the deeper Cajun that flows into the rich Pumpkin Pie. I first inked the entire stamp with Pumpkin Pie ink. Then with a dauber inked with Cajun Craze apply ink onto the stamp around the edges only....now stamp on Very Vanilla cardstock and WOW what a stunning colored image.

Layering the Pumpkin Pie cardstock on the Pale Papaya dramatizes the Cajun contrast and projects your focal point quite nicely.

Today's partners are the Fresh Cut FLowers stamp set

 Stamps

and the Fresh Cut Stems dies (dies #160251or bundle #162519)...

DiesIn addition to cutting the stamped images the set includes a wonderful edge border die & a couple of accent images that are  not part of the stamp set.

Here's today's creation

Grid

... a bit closer looks the the primary image...

Gird bu

We coupled that border edge with the grid die (Chic dies) to provide bookend flourishes for our flower bouquet. Being able to die cut the flower image means we can use accent pieces that are not possible when you have to stamp directly on the cardstock--you can't place anything underneath (there are techniques to do that but they are a bit time-consuming & I'm usually too lazy to do them).

Using the bud spring die with the Evening Evergreen Glimmer paper added a bit of glamour to our simple flowers. The gold foil grid on the right adds a pretty soft shine that brightens the entire card.

Stop back by Thursday & see our next creation with this set of partners.

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Creating Another Sweet Card Using New Stampin'Up! Perfect Partners Apple Harvest & Apple Blossom Dies

Today we're Creating Another Sweet Card Using New Stampin'Up! Perfect Partners Apple Harvest & Apple Blossom Dies. Tuesday we created a lovely apple card with this set...if you missed it check it out here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/08/creating-with-stampinup-new-apple-blossom-perfect-partner-dies.html

This die set is only available during September (or while supplies last) & coordiates with the Apple Harvest stamp set in the July Dec mini (holiday).  The all the new dies available now is in the brochure Download PROMOTIONAL_FLYER_Q3_OOP_PERFECT_PARTNERS_0822_US

Here's today's creations...

Flowers 1

& closer to the focal point...

FlowersWhen I saw these flower dies in this new set I just had to create with them--they are great used together for a layered look or singly so you have 2 sizes with which to work.

The dies also prvide multiples of 2 leaf sizes--this permits you to cut many leaves with one cranking through the machine.

The flower centers use the Fresh Freesia sequins (Self-Adhesive Sequins and Gems) that jazz up the entire card front--these sequins are super sparkly. These are my favorite new embellishments in the mini catalog.

We're also using the super long label die here--that is so useful because we don't have many label dies that long in any other available die set...it's great to be able to stamp that long verse on a lovely label and place it on the embossed background.

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Stop back next Tuesday and see another Perfect Partner in use!
