Creating with Stampin'Up! New Apple Blossom Perfect Partner Dies!

Today we're Creating with Stampin'Up! New Apple Blossom Perfect Partner Dies. This is one of the new Stampin'Up! Dies that do not appear in any catalog and are only available during the month of September (or while supplies last). These dies coordinate with stamp sets already available in one of the current catalogs.

This set coordinates with Apple Harvest in the July December (holiday) mini catalog....

Stamps

DiesIf you want to see all the Perfect Partners offered as a bundle (or individually) you can download the brochure here Download PROMOTIONAL_FLYER_Q3_OOP_PERFECT_PARTNERS_0822_US

Let's get to creating a card with this perfect parter set..

Apples...a bit closeer...

Apples cuWe've layered the die cut apple branch over the super versatile Timeworn Type embossed card front. It's very difficult to get a nice image stamped on top of an embossed area. Using this die to cut out the image allows us to have a lovely background too.

It also allows us to add dimension & depth by adhering it by popping up the image.

The scalloped edge is one of the dies---it not only cuts the edge of your card but also provides a separate 1/16" scalloped edging die cut... not used today but can be saved for future creations.

The sparkly green accents (Self-adhesive sequins & gems)add that pizzazz that pushes our design up a level.

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Stop back next Thursday & see another creation using this bundle!

Remember: If you use this month's host code (CHF62MN3) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

Over the top of the ribbon on the tag front we've layered another piece of Papaya cardstock dry embossed with the Timeworn Type embossing folder.

Today we're Creating a Quick and Sweet CArd Using Stampin'up! Elephant Parade. Tuesday we had fun using this set for a really fun card...if you missed it check it out here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/08/creating-a-sweet-fun-card-with-stampinup-elephant-parade.html

Here's today's creation...

MintHere's a little closer look...

Mint cu

We used an inset circle to frame our mini elephant in this card. We've included the hitchhiker again because you just can't look at this tyke without smiling ---and smiling is our ultimate goal, right?

The characters are sitting amidst an array of grass and tropical leaves...we used a bone folder to curl the leaves just a bit to enhance our 3D look.  They are nestled right up to the inside of the circle for attaching so they appear to be growing out of the inner circle! What fun.

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Stop back next Tuesday and see what we are up to with another new stamp set!

Creating a Sweet & Fun Card with Stampin'Up! Elephant Parade!

Today we're Creating a Sweet & Fun Card  with Stampin'Up! Elephant Parade! This cute little set was easy to zip by but it caught my eye because those little elephants are so darned sweet! Add on the little mouse & you have a poppin' little duo to create with. Here's the stamp set...

Capture

Here's today's little elephant taking a stroll down the tropical path with a cheery little hitchhiker on his (or her) back! Who wouldn't smile to see this card pop out of the envelope...

Daffodil

The tropical jungle background is achieved using  Fern 3D embossing folder---makes it fun but stays in the background where it should be!.  Stamping the elephant on Smoky Slate cardstock keeps our coloring to a minimum. The mouse is stamped on Basic White cardstock & then useing our Blends to touch up a bit of color.

The sprinkle of Brushed Brass Butterflies gives a little shine that pizzazzes any card.

Adding the balloon die cut lends a festive air --we're using the "What a happy day" for our greeting.

The greetings in this set are very useful from the celebration, thanks, friends and "sweet little one" for a new baby card. What a great versatile set.

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Designing Another All Occasion Card Using Stampin'Up! Full of Love Stamp Set

Today we're Designing Another All Occasion Card Using Stampin'Up! Full of Love Stamp Set. Tuesday we used this same set to create a real beauty--if you missed it check it out here...https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/08/creating-a-quick-all-occasion-card-wtih-stampinup-full-of-love-stamp-set.html

Here's today creations...

White a closer look at the pretty little stamped medallion...

White cu

While we are checking out the close up view take a look at that Freesia border...doesn't that coordinate  superbly with the flowers in the bouquet. That is one of the Delicate Edges borders in the catalog--it's a great set of 4 borders that have lots of variety and will complement most any stamp set.

You've probably notice the little gold flower trinkets popping their heads amongst the blooms. These are the new flower trinkets from the annual catalog & have become one of my favorite 'go to' embellishments (well, ok, iridescent rhinestones are #1 right now but these are a very close second)!

By adding a couple of small gold foil butterflies flitting around our flowers we've tied into the trinkets & also have given the suggestion of motion in our design.

The "hello there" greeting (one of the greeting in this set) is a super All Occasion verse. Using today's design and the one we created Tuesday--you'll have a wonderful set of cards in your stash. You can vary the colors and try out different combos for your bouquets to coordinate with your new colors.

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Stop back next Tuesday & see what we're creating then!

Creating a Quick All Occasion Card wtih Stampin'Up! Full of Love Stamp Set

Today we're Creating a Quick All Occasion Card wtih Stampin'Up! Full of Love Stamp Set. This is a sweet little new stamp set from the annual catalog---one of the great features is that you can build a nice selection of "All Occasion" cards in tons of your favorite colors to have on hand ready at a moment's notice.

Here's the stamp set...

Here's today's card...

Corbet fullAnd a closer look at the focal point...

Sorbet

What makes this a Quick card is that it's all done with a single stamp and the you simply color the flowers & leaves to coordinate with whatever color you choose for your background.

I chose the new Sweet Sorbet In Color Designer Series Paper--I love plaid and this one whispered "perfect combo" with this stamp set. So I obviously chose to feature that color as one of the major flower colors and then combined some supporting colors like Pool Party, Starry Sky, and Daffodil Delight and we have the perfect summer bouquet.

Coloring with the Blends (alcohol markers) is one of my favorite embellishments--the color just flows so smoothly and alwasy turns out brilliant and bright!

Instead of using the matching ribbon I chose a darker hue--so it didn't blend into the background but rather snapped into the foreground in a very pert way giving the whole card its zip.

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Stop back Thursday and see what we're creating then!

Remember: If you use this month's host code (CHF62MN3) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

Today we're Creating Another Sweet Card Using Stampin'Up! Sweetest Cherries Bundle! Tuesday we created a little cutie with this set--if you missed it check it out here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/08/creating-sweet-simple-with-stampinup-sweetest-cherries-bundle.html

Here's today's creation...

Frame

& a bit closer...

Frame cuWhat makes this card so quick and so cute at the same time is that awesome frame that becomes our central focus. This die is from a die set in the new annual catalog--and it's easy to miss since it's not part of a bundle...it's one of those super finds in the back of the catalog all nestled in among other dies that are (or were) associated wiht a stamp set.  This is one of two dies in the set. You can see how this adds pizazz and still stays in the background--we are still focusing on the cherry and "sweet" but that leafy frame just makes it all pop!

You'll notie again that we have cut the "birthday wishes" into two words because this is a bit more casual and our card is just simply sweet and not too fancy.

The designer paper is also from the host set called Design a Daydream...we chatted about this fantastic set of papers Tuesday---it can be yours when you host a class or if you just put in an order of $150 or more.

August is the last month of the summer Sale-a-bration---you don't want to miss earning those Freebies in the SAB brochure when you spend $50 or $100.  If you need to view the brochure.. Download SAB22_US

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Stop back next week and see what we're creating then!

Remember: If you use this month's host code (CHF62MN3) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

Creating Sweet & Simple with Stampin'Up! Sweetest Cherries Bundle

Today we're Creating Sweet & Simple with Stampin'Up! Sweetest Cherries Bundle! This cute set makes it super easy to create quick sweet & simple cards...the bundle includes a punch with the cherry,  stem, & leaves. This makes cutting the parts from different colors a snap! No dies-- just quick punching from your chosen colors.

Here's the bundle..check out that punch!

BundeHere's today's card...

Triple

...a slightly closer look...

Triple cuNotice the cherries are in 3 shades of red--this makes stacking them a breeze since they do not blend into each other--we used Sweetest Sorbet (one of the new In Colors), Real Red, and Cherry Cobbler. The stems are punched from Early Espresso & the leaves from Garden Green.

The "birthday wishes" is actually a single stamp but I wanted to use the words separately so I hand cut them individually. When hand cutting words like this just use your Paper Snips & do quick straight cuts--rather than trying to cut slowly...this tends to get you straighter lines in half the time.

You may not recognize the designer paper unless you've hosted a class or party since the new annual catalog arrived! Yes, this paper (Design a Daydream) is a huge pack of 48 sheets (4 of each of 12 designs) & the variety is stunning...you'll see me using this pack quite a bit.

Did you know that you can be your own host? You don't actually have to host a class or party--anytime you place an order for $150 or more you qualify for host rewards & the designer paper could be your choice!

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Stop back Thursday and see what else we're creating with this bundle.

Remember: If you use this month's host code (CHF62MN3) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).
