Creating Another Cute Tag with Stampin'Up! New Designer Tag Dies

Today we're Creating Another Cute Tag with Stampin'up! New Designer Tag Dies. Tuesday we used the largest die and the rose die cut--if you missed it check it out here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/06/creating-an-awesome-tag-with-stampinups-new-designer-tags-dies.html

This tag is featuring the two layering dies in this super set. Here's the result...

Granny

And a bit closer look:

Granny cu

Stampin'Up! made this quite easy for us---the two dies are exactly the same shape except the overlay is just slightly smaller so that we can highlight the fancy design in the overly by using a contrasting or (as in this case) a bit darker color to really see that pretty design.

The Brilliant Wings butterfly dies continue drawing me into their beauty--I love them so I used the small one as our focal point in gold foil. Then I added 3 of the new Flower Trinkets to float around the butterfly in a sort of triangle.

I'm finding the new 2022-2024 In Color Metallic ribbons are quite useful...the are easy to work with the the colors are brilliant and stunning with that metallic shine...so we added the tie in Parakeet Party.

This base tag is lovely on its own--but you can decorate it with most any elements you enjoy--it's great to have a few of these in your ready-t0-go stash--then when you need a tag--grab it, personalize it and you're ready for any occasion!

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Remember: If you use this month's host code (VWJEW9VK) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

Directions:

1. Die Cut middle size tag from Granny Apple Green cardstock

*Die cut corresponding overlay from Parakeet Party cardstock.

*Adhere these using very small dots of glue in the solid areas of the overlay

2. Die cut the small butterfly (Butterfly Brillliance dies) from gold foil; adhere this to tag using a glue dot.

3. Adhere 3 gold Flower Trinkets in a sort of triangle around the butterfly--see photo.

4. Cut approximately 12" Parakeet Party Metallic ribbon and loop through top tag hole.

Your tag is ready for giving!

Creating an Awesome Tag with Stampin'Up!'s New Designer Tags Dies

Today we're Creating an Awesome Tag with Stampin'Up!'s New Designer Tags Dies. These dies are sleepers because they are not associated with a stamp set or bundle--they are sleeping in the back on the catalog among all the dies and if you are not careful--you'll miss them!

But miss them you do NOT want to do--they are quick, easy and quite beautiful with minimal effort!

Here's today's tag...

Pink

and, a bit closer look...

Pink cu

This tag uses 2 of the dies in this set---first we used the largest die with the top and bottom slits---this provides a really pretty way to add some zing with the new Rose Gold White 5/8" ribbon--the slits allow the ribbon to enter from front to back at the top, travel down the back and out through the bottom slit.

The fancy top and bottom edges are quite pretty and drew my attention to the rose cut-out die...so I layered the die on top of the Polished Pink tag, die cut the rose and layered white cardstock on the back of the tag to highlight the beautiful design. I love sparkle so I winked (Wink of Stella) the white rose to add pizzazz.

Then to add a touch of romance I added three heart pearls--the heart shape is quite subtle but the pearls add that charm to complete the design.  Quick, easy, perfect!

Stop back by on Thursday to see another creation with these dies!

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Remember: If you use this month's host code (VWJEW9VK) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

Directions:

1. Die cut the largest tag die from Polished Pink cardstock

*Die cut the rose in the tag--position it to the left leaving space for the greeting

*Stamp "Thinking of You" (Lovely & Lasting) in black in (Memento) in upper right corner

2. Cut Basic White cardstock 2 1/2 X 2 3/4; adhere to back side of tag with glue

3. Cut approximately 14" Rose Gold & White ribbon, fold in half and lead with the folded edge from front to back through bottom tag slit. Bring the folded edge through from back to front through top tag slit.

*Cut approximately 8" Sweet Sorbet metallic ribbon; tie a bow  around the top rose ribbon loop.

4. Adhere 1 large & 2 small heart pearls--see photo for placement.

Using one of the plant stamps Debbie has created a lovely side border graduating in color depth from light to dark --Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sorbet, Real Red. This causes the eye to flow from top to bottom. She has used the Amazing Thanks dies to create the verse & by using the underlay die in white the Sweet Sorbet "thanks"  nearly leaps off the card--bright and beautiful.

She used the Splatters embossing folder (Stripes & Splatters embossing folders) to add that texture to this relaxed card & then added two sets of In Color Matte Dots to add some pizzazz to the upper right and lower left corners.

Before we go on we want to thank Debbie for her hard work and awesome designs that she's been sharing with us for the last few months! It's been great fun to work with her & we've enjoyed her creations.

We'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Remember: If you use this month's host code (VWJEW9VK) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

Creating the Simplest Most Beautiful Card with Stampin'Up! Split Card Texture Dies

Today we'll be Creating the Simplest Most Beautiful Card with Stampin'Up! Split Card Texture Dies. Tuesday we designed a gorgeous card using the plaid die.. check it out here if you missed it...https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/06/a-beautiful-design-using-stampinup-split-card-dies-and-hand-penned-bundle.html

This is today's design...

Double die

and a bit closer..

Double die cuAs you can see, this beauty simply uses the die two times...once in the lower right corner and then again in the upper left corner. This leaves a diagonal center area just perfect for about any greeting you want to use.

This makes the design one of those you can create a stack then just add the greeting when you need the card.

As we mentioned Tuesday, the color combo under the die cuts can be any colors you enjoy--instead of using the Hues of Happiness designer paper you can create your own blend of colors with the Blending Brushes and your favorite inks! Imagine Fresh Freesia and Pacific Point... or Coastal Cabana and Highland Heather...and the combos go on and on.

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Remember: If you use this month's host code (VWJEW9VK) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

Directions:

1. Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score long side at 5 1/2 (card base)

2. Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 4 x 5 1/4

*Lay corner die in lower right corner leaving about 1/16" cardstock showing outside die; put through die machine.

*Lay corner die in upper left corner again leaving about 1/16" cardstock showing outside the die; put through die machine.

*Stamp verse (Heavenly Hollyhocks) in Memento ink in the uncut diagonal strip down the card center.

A Beautiful Design Using Stampin'Up! Split Card Dies and Hand-penned Bundle

Today I'll show you how to create A Beautiful Design Using Stampin'Up! Split Card Dies and Hand-Penned Bundle. The new die set, Split Card Textures, contains 2 stunning corner designs cutting through the top layer of cardstock revealing the underlayer...this gives  unlimited combinations & choices to make.

Here's the die set.

Capture

Today we're using the 'plaid' style...

Handpenneda closer look at the focal point

Handpenned cu

The color wash under the die cut is from the gorgeous  Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. We've been so entranced with the beautiful rose designs in this set that we almost miss the beauty on the 'other' side.  We use this blend of color to select the flower colors. Since our base is white you can select any of the other fantastic blends for more variety.

The die simply sits in the corner of the top layer & after running through the die machine it's a breeze to flip out the waste pieces.

We added a bit more interest by then putting the die cut layer through the Timeworn Type embossing folder--it adding a touch of texture but staying in the background.

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Stop back Thursday and we'll be using the other die--one of the simplest (and most beautiful) cards you'll ever create!

    *Use Timeworn Type embossing folder.

3. Cut designer paper (Hues of Happiness) 4 1/8 X 5 1/8; adhere to back of die cut layer using liquid glue. Adhere this unit to card front.

4. Die cut middle stitched circle (Stylish Shapes) from Daffodil cardstock

*Stamp verse in Memento ink (see sample)
*Adhere to top left overlapping cut out area

Dies1

Here is the gift card holder using this die set and creating the small bow with these dies...

Petaland a bit closer look at the bow...

Petal cuAs you can see in the die set---it's a very simple process...just bring the 2 ends of the bow body to the back and then loop the top of the "tails" around the middle. I'll give you some helpful hints below in the Directions section.

We've created this using a paper in the Texture Chic Specialty Designer Paper with a matching Petal Pink bow.  So this would most likely go to one of your lady friends or relatives. But if you need one for younger kids you could create it using a paper like Butterfly Kisses; need a guy holder--try one of the Chic papers in Evening Evergreen.

The choices are unlimited and don't forget Christmas is not that far away--imagine all the wonderful gift card holders we can create using Christmas papers.

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Remember: If you use this month's host code (VWJEW9VK) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

Directions:

1. Roughly cut 6 X 6 Designer paper (Texture Chic); die cut main pocket envelope. Using Tear & Tape form envelope at the bottom and side.

2. Die cut both bow pieces (see photo of die pieces below)

Dies1

3. Using a bone folder slightly curl the 2 bow loops toward the back.

4. Using glue dots adhere the 2 end tabs to the middle bar between the 2 loops thus forming the bow.

5. Wrap the long straight piece of the bow "tail" piece around the middle bar of the bow loops--secure with a glue dot. The bow is complete...adhere this to the top middle of the envelope with a glue dot.

6. Die cut 4 leaves from gold foil; adhere these under the bow with glue dots.

Dies2

and here are the accessory dies--including tags, leaves and there are even dies to create a mini bow...

Dies1

Chic2And a bit closer look at the tag...

Since we usually need these quickly we can create a few, leave off the greeting, and just stamp that when the event occurs when we need a quick gift card holder.  The main die easily folds together with Tear & Tape and you're ready to decorate.

You can change the entire 'mood' by choosing a different designer paper for your base--need a kids holder--try using Happy Forest Friends. Need a more "guy" look--use He's the Man. And we can go on and on..the great thing about owning the die is that you can create exactly what you need when you need it. Remember Christmas is only 6 months away and gift card holders are super to have on hand then.

I'll give you step by step directions below followed by the supply list.

Remember: If you use this month's host code (VWJEW9VK) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

FreesiaAnd a bit closer to see the embellishments...
