Today you'll Learn to Multi-color Your Stamp When Creating with Stampin'Up! Bamboo Beauty Stamp Set!
On Tuesday you met our second Dream Team stamper, Debbie Crivello. She created a gorgeous card with the Bamboo Beauty stamp set..if you missed it you can check it out here...https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/02/guest-stamper-creates-a-beauty-with-stampinup-bamboo-beauty-stamp-set.html.
Today Debbie is using the same primary image but this time instead of wet embossing in gold, she is using multiple colors on the single image...here's the result of using Granny Apple Green and Crushed Curry..
And here's a bit closer look at the multi colors on the bamboo and leaves..
Debbie, created a system of frames providing stunning setting for this stamped image. She applied the two ink colors separately with daubers--being sure to over lap the two colors to blend them well without a hard line of color separation. Now using either of the two colors would have resulted in a lovely card...but blending the two colors ratchets the design up a couple of notches to spectacular.
One of Deb's secrets in stamping such perfect images is that she uses the Stampin'Up! Stamparatus. Using this device if she misses part of the image or needs to apply additional ink, it's quite easy because the cardstock remains in place and she simply re-inks the stamp and lowers the glass plate to which the stamp is 'sticking.' Great stamping tip!
Thanks to Debbie for sharing her tips and talent with us this week.
