Creating Another Beautiful Card with Stampin'Up! Calming Camelia Sale-a-bration stamp set.

Today we're Creating Another Beautiful Card with Stampin'Up! Calming Camelia Sale-a-bration Stamp Set. Tuesday we created a lovely card with this set---if you missed it check it out here... https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/02/create-a-beautiful-card-with-stampinup-calming-camelia-sale-a-bration-stamp-set.html.

Here's today's creation...

Circle image

And here's a bit closer look...

Circle image cuToday stamping the main image viewed through the circle frame really takes the focus off the full blossom and zeros in on the individual flowers. When you view the bunch as a whole it is beautiful but you miss some of the detail of the individual blossoms. By targeting the view on the individual flowers you begin to see what marvelous detail has been created in each bloom.

Just stamping the image in Blackberry Bliss ink is enough but you can imagine what this will be like if you stamp in Memento and use your Blends to color the flowers and leaves...what an array of spring bouquets you can create with this lovely stamp set.

You only have a couple more days to earn it as a host gift during Sale-a-bration. Contact your stamping buddies and collect orders totaling $300 and you too can have this beauty to play with all spring!

Remember:

*Jan-Feb is Sale-a-bration--for each $50 in product that you purchase you can select a free product from the Sale-a-bration brochure!

*If you use this month's host code (3YBBBWYE) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

Directions:

1. Cut Fresh Fresia cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut Basic White carstock 5 X 3 3/4.

3. Cut Fresh Fresia cardstock 4 7/8 X 3 5/8

*Cut circle (Layering Circle dies with approximate inner diameter of 2 7/8) from center

*Put this layer through Gingham embossing folder

*Center this over white layer and lightly pencil the circle opening on the white layer; lay Fresia embossed layer to side

*Stamp flowers within the circle with Blackberry Bliss ink; adhere 2 medium iridescent rhinestones to flower centers.

4. Adhere Fresia embossed layer with dimensionals centered over white layer.

5. Cut white cardstock 1/2 X 2 1/2; stamp verse in black ink (e.g. Memento)

6. Cut Blackberry Bliss cardstock 5/8 X 2 1/4; adhere to back of stamped layer with liquid glue; Adhere to bottom of circle with dimensionals.

This type of stamp has that awesome shading built in so that just stamping in ink is all you need to look like a professional. This card has the stamped image on Vellum cardstock overlaying white and Fresh Fresia cardstock which increases the depth of the image. Adding the iridescent rhinestones to the flower centers adds that extra pizzazz that ratchets the design over the top.

Stop back Thursday and see the second card we are creating with this set.

Learn to Multi-color Your Stamp When Creating with Stampin'Up! Bamboo Beauty Stamp Set!

Today you'll Learn to Multi-color Your Stamp When Creating with Stampin'Up! Bamboo Beauty Stamp Set!

On Tuesday you met our second Dream Team stamper, Debbie Crivello. She created a gorgeous card with the Bamboo Beauty stamp set..if you missed it you can check it out here...https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/02/guest-stamper-creates-a-beauty-with-stampinup-bamboo-beauty-stamp-set.html.

Today Debbie is using the same primary image but this time instead of wet embossing in gold, she is using multiple colors on the single image...here's the result of using Granny Apple Green and Crushed Curry..

White

And here's a bit closer look at the multi colors on the bamboo and leaves..

White cu

Debbie, created a system of frames providing stunning setting for this stamped image. She applied the two ink colors separately with daubers--being sure to over lap the two colors to blend them well without a hard line of color separation.  Now using either of the two colors would have resulted in a lovely card...but blending the two colors ratchets the design up a couple of notches to spectacular.

One of Deb's secrets in stamping such perfect images is that she uses the Stampin'Up! Stamparatus. Using this device if she misses part of the image or needs to apply additional ink, it's quite easy because the cardstock remains in place and she simply re-inks the stamp and lowers the glass plate to which the stamp is 'sticking.' Great stamping tip!

Thanks to Debbie for sharing her tips and talent with us this week.

Directions:

1. Cut thick Basic White 4 ¼ x 11, score long side at 5 1/2 (card base).

2. Cut Basic White 4 1/8 x 5 3/8.
*Center 2nd largest stitched rectangle die,, run through die machine creating a frame

3. Cut Garden Green 4 x 5 ¼, adhere to above frame.
*Center 3rd largest stitched rectangle die over Garden Green, run through die machine, adhere to above frame creating double frame.
    *
Run double frame through Bark embossing folder.

4. Cut Basic White 4 x 5 ¼ . Using blending brush or dauber apply Granny Apple Green and Crushed Curry to each bamboo stalk & leaves overlapping color & stamp according to photo. (Using Stamparatus allows repeat stamping if needed.)

Hint: Avoid inking stems of leaves below their crossing point to blend into stalks.

5. Stamp greeting in Garden Green in right lower corner.

6. Attach stamped panel to back of frame with glue.

7. Cut two (2) 4 x 5 ¼ pieces of thick Basic White. Glue together & to back of frame to add dimension.

Guest Stamper Creates a Beauty with Stampin'UP! Bamboo Beauty Stamp Set

Today our Guest Stamper Creates a Beauty with Stampin'Up! Bamboo Beauty Stamp Set. Last month we revealed that we have two Dream Team stampers who entered an earlier challenge and two were selected to create projects every other month (til June) that we'd share with you!

Our Guest Stamper Dream Team member this month is Debbie Crivello--here's Deb and her second favorite playmate (Cookie)--Joe, her hubby, is her first fav! Thanks to Joe for being our guest photographer for this beauty shot to share with you.

Deb 2Debbie has chosen to work with a relatively simple stamp set but it is a beautiful one. Notice the wonderful greetings this set contains...truly unique and must haves in your collection.

Here's her first creation...

Trying to capture a bit more of the gold foil..

Grayand now a bit closer look in detail...

Gray cu

Deb began with a piece of the stunning Symbols of Fortune designer paper with embedded golf foil...she layered the gold embossed image on gold foil cardstock and highlighted with the gold gilded gems.  Notice how the bamboo shoots coordinate well with the lines of the gold foil in the designer paper. Such an elegant result with relatively few steps. Hallmark, eat your heart out--you've got competition!

Stop back Thursday and see Debbie's second lovely card using the Bamboo Beauty stamp set.  After you see that card you'll definitely want this set for your arsenal.

Make Another Stunningly Quick Card with Stampin'Up! Sale-a-bration Friendly Hello Bundle

Today I'm going to show you how to Make Another Stunningly Quick Card with Stampin'Up! Sale-a-bration Friendly Hello Bundle. If you missed the first card on Tuesday you can click here to check it out https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/02/how-to-use-the-stampinup-friendly-hello-sale-a-bration-bundle-to-make-a-fast-fabulous-card.html.

The card we're creating today is also featuring one of those beautiful designer series papers..

Pool

Here's a bit closer look..

Pool cu

Using the primary color of the paper (Pool Party) we formed the card base and then highlighted the designer paper with a 1/8" border of white--this causes the eye to focus on the white flowers and leaves. By adding the verse and the accent flower/leaf stamp on a scalloped stitched white rectangle--we then draw the eye to why we sent the card (noooo, it's not just so we can stamp again--although I've been know to be creative in reasons for sending cards...just sayin').

The accent stamp is a small single stamp that just adds a bit of interest to the greeting which uses two interesting fonts together. We then added a row of three Classic Matte black dots for a bit of added pizzazz.

Now this simple card design can be used for almost all the papers in this entire set of designer papers--just coordinate the base card with the primary color in the designer paper...and you have a totally spectacular new card...try it!

Design a Fun Card with the Stampi'Up! Awesome Otter Sale-a-bration Stamp Set

Today we're going to Design a Fun Card with the Stampin'Up! Awesome Otter Sale-a-bration Stamp Set!  Remember during January-February when you purchase $50 in product you can select a free product from the Sale-a-bration brochure! This week's card uses the Awesome Otter...

158087

They are such cuties..they are good for many occasions!

Here's today's card...

DaffodilHow fun is that! I used the Picture This die for the top layer and used each of the otter stamps for the bigger circles. Added a bit more color and design with small circles of designer series paper.  This Picture This die cuts all the circles out of the top layer perfectly positioned in one roll through the die machine...this means cranking out multiples is a breeze.

Now when you view the stamp set-there's only one otter swimming--so I wanted all of them to be in the pool so I simply colored in the area under the other two with the Pool Party Stampin' Blend--now they are all swimming!

Remember:

*Jan-Feb is Sale-a-bration--for each $50 in product that you purchase you can select a free product from the Sale-a-bration brochure!

*Run through die machine with Picture This die, then run through Tasteful Textiles folder

*Center over white layer (don't glue down) & pencil in the circles, lay daffodil layer to the side.

*Stamp otters in appropriate circles (see photo) in Memento ink. NOTE: use post-it notes under each circle when you stamp to avoid stamping that image in another circle.

    *Color with Blends

        *Otters - Light/Dark Crumb Cake
        *Fish - Dark Pale Papaya
*Water - Light Pool Party (remember to color under all the otters)
*Water splashes - Wink of Stella

4. Die cut 3 circles from dotted pool  paper  (Pattern Party designer paper)--use die approximately 1 1/8" diameter.

5. Add dimensionals to the BACK of the top daffodil layer but only remove backing from top border--leave  remainder covered. Center & adhere  top layer to white layer (only top will be adhered)

*Lift up top layer - adhere 3 designer circles using glue & check positioning by lowering top layer to asure they are placed  with no white showing around them.  Then remove the topping from remainder of  dimensionals & adhere the rest of the top layer.

6. Add 1 large & 2 small Pool Party Artistry Blooms sequins (see photo).

7. Cut white cardstock 1/2 X 2, stamp verse in black ink; adhere to card front with dimensionals
