Creating a Quick Birthday Card with the new Flowing Flowers Stampin'Up! Stamp Set

Creating a Card with the new Flowing Flowers Stampin'Up! Stamp Set!

Today we're Creating a Card with the new Flowing Flowers Stampin'Up! Stamp Set! By now you've seen tons of great new stamp sets and I decided to select one stamp set that would be great to create fabulous cards with minimal effort. Flowing Flowers fit that criteria perfectly.

Not only are the flowers beautiful but the set also contains those easy to use verses we use very day along with a couple of other specialty verses like "sending a card instead of a text."

Here's the first quick card:

Thank you

Here's a little closer look at those new Polished Dots  embellishments...

Thank you cu

We're using the Stampin'Write markers to color directly on the rubber stamp--this allows us to use 2 colors on the single stamp--it's quick and easy to do this.

Check out the gold frame that focuses the eye on the Thank You--I'll show you below how to create that with 2 dies and one roll through the die cut's really easy and you can do multiples quite easily with this technique.

I'll give you the step by step directions followed by the supply list so you can order your supplies today.

*Jan-Feb is Sale-a-bration--for each $50 in product that you purchase you can select a free product from the Sale-a-bration brochure!

*if you use this month's host code (VXJM3R2D) you can earn $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for every $50 in product that you order (excludes shipping & tax).

1. Cut Evening Evergreen cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut Soft Succulent 5 X 3 3/4; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut Shimmery White 4 7/8 X 3 5/8

*Stamp 'Thank you" in Memento ink (Flowing Flowers # 157880) in center of card front

*Using flat side of Stampin'Write markers to color flower on the rubber stamp itself with Polished Pink and the leaves & dots with Evening Evergreen...stamp 3 times as shown in photo. Add the leaves in the upper left corner.

4. Tape 2 of the label dies (Happy Hippo & Friends dies) together and die cut the "frame"

Hippo diesNote: you can salvage the middle waste for future use--if you want to avoid scratching the surface of this piece use a layer of tissue paper between the die and the gold foil when running through the die cut machine.

*Add mini dimensionals to the back of the frame and adhere with the Thank you in the center.

5. Add one large and 2 small pink Polished Dots (#158134) as shown in photo.

Your card is ready for sending!
