Today we'll Check out Project #2 by our Guest Creator! If you missed the first project Tuesday you can check it out here  Permalink: https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/01/check-out-this-weeks-guest-creator.html

Valerie Eilman is one of the two Dream Team creators who will be sharing projects every other month through June. Here's Valerie's second project using similar supplies from Expressions in Ink DSP & Ephemera & Brilliant wings dies she used for the memory page on Tuesday....

and closer...

Card - cu

Now look closely -- there's a little surprise, keep your eyes on the top butterfly as we open the card...

Card - openingYes, the butterfly is attached to the inside of the card & springs through a die cut hole in the card front.

Here's the card inside...

Card - insideIsn't that fun! Imagine the recipient opening the card and it's as lovely on the inside as it is on the card front!

Now Valerie did something that may make some of you squirm--she cut the dies apart (this kaleidoscope of butterflies is a single die ---as is the stamp so you can stamp and cut them all out at one time.) However, Valerie liked to use the stamps and dies separately so she has cut them apart so each is usable alone..if you don't want to cut the stamps apart you can simply stamp and lay the matching die directly over the stamped image and it will work just fine. (I told you some of you would squirm a bit!)

Many thanks to Valerie for sharing her designs.

Below are the step by step directions followed by the supply list so you can re-create this beautiful page for yourself.

Today we're creations Another Quick & Easy Card Created with Catching Butterflies Sale-a-bration Stamp Set. If you missed our card on Tuesday you can check it out here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/01/design-a-quick-card-with-catching-butterflies-sale-a-bration-stamp-set.html

Today's card features a whole bunch of butterflies (it's called a  kaleidoscope--fun, right?) and a sprinkle of the new brass butterflies with adhesive backs.

Now look closely at the top layer of designer series paper...that's the new Sale-a-bration free designer paper called Simply Marbelous! And how marvelous it is! It contains the same design in pinks, yellows, greens, blues, violets and grays. There are enough papers to create more than 48 cards. This is another Free selection you can make with a $50 product purchase during January and February.

Design a Quick Card with Catching Butterflies Sale-a-bration Stamp Set

Today we're going to Design a Quick Card with Catching Butterflies Sale-a-bration Stamp Set. This cute set is just going to bring a smile to the face of any recipient! The best part of this set is that it is free with a purchase of $50...yes, that's what Sale-a-bration is all about--for each $50 in product that you purchase you can select your choice of free products. Here's the Catching Butterflies set...

So keeping this relatively simple...here's our card for today..

Fresia

This is one of those designs that can be adapted to just about any designer series paper, adjusting the cardstock  color and Blends to coordinate with the paper will result in  a card that you can create to use up some of your smaller pieces of designer paper.

Also, just about any verse can be substituted for the one used in the sample--thus this becomes one of those stock card designs that can be created and stashed until you need one, pop on the appropriate greeting and off you go to the mailbox.

I used the fresia design from the new Heart & Home Designer Series paper in the new Jan-Jun mini catalog..if you didn't get your copy (and don't already have  demonstrator) contact me and we'll get one on your hands.

I'll give you the step by step directions for this card followed by the supply list so you can order your supplies today.

Another Quick & Easy card using Sale-a-bration set Island Vibes

Today we're creating Another Quick  Easy card using Sale-a-bration set Island Vibes.  If you missed our super card on Tuesday you can check it out here: https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2022/01/create-quick-cards-with-sale-a-bration-island-vibes.html.

Here's today's card

Leaves

Again, I nabbed one of the notecards and envelopes in Basic White for my base--that eliminates creating the base from scratch and the notecards come with matching envelopes (they come in white an vanilla--it's always a good idea to keep a pack of both on hand in your stamping staples.

This time I ran the notecard front through the Tasteful Textures embossing folder--just adding this bit of pizzazz to the card front enhances the eye appeal dramatically.

The tropical leaves are all one single stamp! That's right--a single stamp and a Shaded Spruce ink pad gives you all that luscious greenery. Then use one of the perfect greetings in a pop of color like Poppy Parade and your basic card is done. Of course adding 3 Champagne Rhinestones strategically placed in a rough triangle and the card ratchets up to pretty wonderful instead of just adequate.

I'll give you the step by step directions for today's card followed by the supply list so you can order your supplies today.

Create Quick cards with Sale-a-bration Island Vibes

Today we're going to learn how to Create Quick cards with Sale-a-bration Island Vibes stamp set! This is one of the free stamp sets you can earn when you purchase product for $50 during Jan-Feb Sale-a-bration event....here's a look at the set..

158096 island vibes

We'll also be using a sentiment from the Special Moment stamp set which is another Sale-a-bration Freebie!

Here's the quick card for today

Plantand a bit closer ....

Plant cu

As I've mentioned in previous posts, I often find myself in need of a card but little time--so one of my solutions is to grab one of the notecards and envelopes (they come in Basic White and Very Vanilla). They come precut, scored and ready to go--this eliminates the need for preparing your base.

Today's card is simply adding 2 quick layers to the base white notecard and adding a single stamp, greeting and embellishments...in less that 5 minutes your card is ready to go.

The plant stamp that I used looks better in 2 colors--so I nabbed my Stampin'Write markers and applied the ink directly to the rubber stamp--that way we can get 2 great colors with just one stamp.

You'll find that the Spccial Moments stamp set has all those verses that you use consistently--this time I needed a thank you card and this greeting was fresh and perfect for my purpose.

I then just added 3 of our new Adhesive backed hexagons to coordinate with the green plant and they simply added the bit of extra that pushes a card into extra special instead of just pretty.

I'll give you the step by step directions for today's card followed by the supply list so you can order your supplies today.

This beautiful stamp set requires little imagination when it comes to designing a card...it's so lovely and has such coordinating images that the card nearly designs itself....check this out

Hbd

and a little closer look...

Again today we're using the Stampin'Write markers to color directly on the rubber stamp. This allows us to use multiple colors on the same stamp.  This card uses 2 floral images and the greeting. The smaller stamp includes the 3 florals plus some accent dots---so just marrying the larger flower with the smaller one give you all the design you need.

We used the Adhesive backed Hexagons for our embellishments in this card--what a fun addition to add touches of interest around the stamped images.

If you are like me and always rushed for time...having a stamp set that allows quick but gorgeous cards is a definite "must have" in your stamping arsenal...order yours today!

Creating a Card with the new Flowing Flowers Stampin'Up! Stamp Set!

Today we're Creating a Card with the new Flowing Flowers Stampin'Up! Stamp Set! By now you've seen tons of great new stamp sets and I decided to select one stamp set that would be great to create fabulous cards with minimal effort. Flowing Flowers fit that criteria perfectly.

Not only are the flowers beautiful but the set also contains those easy to use verses we use very day along with a couple of other specialty verses like "sending a card instead of a text."

Here's the first quick card:

Thank you

Here's a little closer look at those new Polished Dots  embellishments...

Thank you cu

We're using the Stampin'Write markers to color directly on the rubber stamp--this allows us to use 2 colors on the single stamp--it's quick and easy to do this.

Check out the gold frame that focuses the eye on the Thank You--I'll show you below how to create that with 2 dies and one roll through the die cut machine...it's really easy and you can do multiples quite easily with this technique.

I'll give you the step by step directions followed by the supply list so you can order your supplies today.

4. Tape 2 of the label dies (Happy Hippo & Friends dies) together and die cut the "frame"

Hippo diesNote: you can salvage the middle waste for future use--if you want to avoid scratching the surface of this piece use a layer of tissue paper between the die and the gold foil when running through the die cut machine.

*Add mini dimensionals to the back of the frame and adhere with the Thank you in the center.

5. Add one large and 2 small pink Polished Dots (#158134) as shown in photo.
