How to Make the Fastest Shaker Christmas Gift Tag

Today I'm going to show you How to Make the  Fastest Shaker Christmas Gift Tag!

Take a look-- Tag ornament

Now a closer look at the stamping...

Close up

And, the double whammy is that the recipient can use this to decorate their tree or hang in the wind0w--two for the price of one!

Doesn't this look like a million bucks? But no, it's a very simple and quick design. Using the Classic Cloche domes--that's all the hard work done for you...you simply stamp, add sequins and you're done!

I'll give you the step by step directions below followed by the list of supplies that are used.

Remember if you place an order online & use my monthly Host Code (TMTS2VZV) you'll receive $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for each  $50 in product that you purchase.

Directions:

1. Cut Basic White cardstock 3 5/8 (length) by 3 3/8 (width); use the corner rounder (Detailed Trio punch) to round the top 2 corners.

2. Cut Balmy Blue cardstock 3 1/2 X 3 1/4; use the corner rounder on the top 2 corners.

*Use the dome die (Classic Cloche Bundle) to cut the "hole" in the balmy layer (keep the die cut)

*Stamp random dots (Classic Cloche stamps) in Balmy Blue on the Balmy blue layer

*Center the balmy cardstock (don't glue it down yet) over the white and using a pencil draw the dome opening on the white cardstock

Pencil3. Stamp village outline (Classic Cloche stamp set) in Memento ink centered within the penciled area. Stamp the coloring overlay in Balmy Blue to color the houses.

*Add 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small rhinestone to the "sky" to add a bit of sparkle

*If desired, erase the penciled marks

*Add about a teaspoon of sequins (Subtle Shimmer Sequins) on top of the stamped village--be sure to keep the sequins centered.

4. Remove the adhesive covering on the TOP (front) of the dome; insert the dome through backside of the die cut opening of the Balmy Blue layer.

    * Add a few dots of liquid glue to the underside of the Balmy layer and remove the adhesive covering from the dome backside.

*Layer this centered over the white stamped layer--press down well to make sure there's a good seal for retaining the sequins.

5. Punch a hole in the top of the tag using any hand held 1/8" or 1/4" punch

*Cut 18" of Glittered Shimmer White ribbon--loop through hole.

*Cut approximately 8" white ribbon, tie a bow and adhere to top of dome using a glue dot.

6. On the dome die cut out  stamp "to" and "from" in Memento ink. Note you can mount these on the same block to save time.

Mount to from

7. Adhere this dome cut out to back of tag with liquid glue.

Another Simple Quick DIY Christmas Gift Tag Using Delicate Baubles Dies

Today I'm going to show you Another Simple Quick DIY Christmas Gift Tag Using Delicate Baubles Dies. And if you read all the way there's a bonus tag today and a bonus idea.

If you missed Tuesdays first gift tag you can see it here  https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2021/11/how-to-create-simple-quick-diy-christmas-gift-tags-using-delicate-baubles-dies.html.

Today we're using the same die for the base--the arabesque solid image die &  the top layer with the Christmas tree die---isn't that stunning? Add a few Holiday Rhinestones to the tree star & side starts --and you have one fantastically beautiful gift tag.

Tree

Closer...

Tree cu

I did add Wink of Stella to the tree branches (on the designer paper) -- regardless of the light I cannot capture that sparkle--but this adds great dimension to the tree.

Now I love to color--so as I looked at the coordinating stamp set I see a beautiful stamp that we can die cut with the arabesque die..this image is wonderful for coloring but I had limited time---so here's a quick rendition of the stamped tag and I did use the Blends and a ton of rhinestones because---there's never too much sparkle! So here's your bonus gift tag...

Colored on redAnd a bit closer to see the sparkles...

Colored cuAnd again I did use Wink of Stella but I can't get it to sparkle in the photo!

And now your bonus idea! Why not make a dozen of these cuties, bundle them into one of the acetate card boxes (#144628--10 boxes for $7, annual catalog p. 137) and you have an wonderful gift for someone on your list! Everyone can use gift tags--they will look beautiful and festive through the acetate--just add a ribbon and a gift tag and you're set!

I hope you enjoyed these Gift tags---they are super fun and your recipients will think you are a true artist! Enjoy!

I'll give you the step by step directions below followed by the list of supplies that are used.

Remember if you place an order online & use my monthly Host Code (TMTS2VZV) you'll receive $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for each  $50 in product that you purchase.

Directions:

1. Die cut the solid image of the arabesque design from your favorite Designer Series Paper (I used Tidings of Christmas) and another from Basic White cardstock--adhere these with liquid glue.

2. Die cut the Christmas tree image from Shaded Spruce cardstock--using small dots of liquid glue adhere this to the top of the solid designer paper image.

Note: Using Adhesive Sheets on the back of the Shaded Spruce cardstock prior to die-cutting can be very quick when applying this layer to the designer paper.

3. Stamp 'to-from' in black in on the back of the tag.

4. Punch a hole in the top of the tag using any handheld 1/4"  circle punch.

5. Cut approximately 18" of Glittered White ribbon, loop through the above hole and you're ready   to go!

Your tag is ready for giving.

How to Create Simple Quick DIY Christmas Gift Tags Using Delicate Baubles Dies

Today I'll show you How to Create Simple Quick DIY Christmas Gift Tags Using Delicate Baubles Dies!

If you checked out our creations last week we were making tea light tent cards with the Delicate Baubles Dies--if you missed these check them out here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2021/11/how-to-light-up-your-tent-card.html and here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2021/11/how-to-make-another-tea-light-card.html.

You'll see that in these creations we had 'trash' that we turned into simple lovely gift tags. So I decided we should create some intentional tags and bump up the creativity a bit. Here's today's creation using these dies..

Merry & bright

And a closer look at the details

Merry & bright cu

And on the back we stamped the 'to-from' found in the Bright Baubles coordinating stamp set.

Merry & bright backYou can see the back of the tag is as pretty as the front since we are using double sided designer paper (cut with the solid image dies). The top layer on the front is die cut from red velvet paper--adds lustrous color as well as texture...makes you look like a pro!

Then a punch out of white cardstock using the Label Me lovely punch stamped with 'to from"  and add a loop of sheer red ribbon ---your tag is completed...it's quick, simple and looks fantastic on any gift.

These tags are so quick that you can pop out a dozen in no time. You can use your favorite designer paper--use contrasting cardstock for the top layer and you have a new different tag. In fact, if you have tons of scrap designer paper leftover from your other projects--this is a wonderful way to use that up and turn out some really great tags for your Christmas gifts this year.

I'll give you the step by step directions below followed by the list of supplies that are used.

Remember if you place an order online & use my monthly Host Code (TMTS2VZV) you'll receive $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for each  $50 in product that you purchase.

Directions:

1. Die cut the solid image of the arabesque design from your favorite Designer Series Paper (I used Heartwarming Hugs).

2. Die cut the Merry & Bright image from red velvet paper---using small dots of liquid glue adhere this to the top of the solid designer paper image.

Note: Using Adhesive Sheets on the back of the red velvet prior to die-cutting can be very quick when applying this layer to the designer paper.

3. Punch white cardstock with Label Me Lovely punch; stamp "to-from" (Bright Baubles stamp set) in black ink. Adhere this to the back of the gift tag.

4. Punch a hole in the top of the tag using any handheld 1/4"  circle punch.

5. Cut approximately 18" of sheer red ribbon, loop through the above hole and you're ready   to go!

Your tag is ready for giving.

How to Make Another Tea Light Card

Today I'll show you How to Make Another Tea Light Card. If you missed Tuesday's card...check it out here  https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2021/11/how-to-light-up-your-tent-card.html

Just by changing the designer paper and the material for the ornament overlay--you can change the entire "look" of the card. Today's card is more formal with the copper foil and the Evergreen based designer paper. Adding that red bow adds a burst of color that complements the red berries in the paper.

Here's today's version...
