We created another cutie Tuesday that is NOT a Valentine..if you missed it check it out here...https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2021/09/how-strong-is-your-heart.html.

Stampin'Up! designed this set for a special reason...for each stamp set purchased Stampin'Up! will donate $3 to support a heart health organization. So not only will you have a beautifully versatile stamp set you will also be supporting heart health.

This card is layered on the You're a Peach designer series paper which pairs well with the Flirty Flamingo ink we used for coloring. The addition of that adorable little Bumblebee is a perfect accessory for peaches!

How Strong Is Your Heart?

So How Strong is Your Heart? Today we're creating with a lovely stamp set called Strong of Heart. The reason I asked about "your heart" is that for each stamp set purchased from Stampin'Up! $3 will be donated to support a heart health organization!

156376

Now let's look at today's creation using this versatile set...

Strong of heart - hand-penned

As you can see the background is the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper which can still be obtained free during Sale-a-bration with a $50 purchase. You'll need to hurry because SAB ends September 30th.

When you first see the set you may think Valentine but there is so much more that you can do with this set that doesn't even hint at a Valentine.  The black and white background is a sassy setting for a touch of red and that wonderful verse "You Amaze Me."

I'll give you the step by step directions below followed by the Supply List so you can order your supplies to create this card.

It's Time for "Leafing" the Summer Shadows Dies

Well, It's Time for "Leafing" the Summer Shadows Dies. We've created some lovely cards using these free dies and this will be our last in the series. So since we are saying good bye and "leafing" this set I thought we'd use the "Leaf" dies  for a nice simple and quick card...

Shaded summer cinnammon

And a bit closer to our die cuts...

Shaded Summer cinnamon cu

We're using the warm copper to coordinate with the lovely Cinnamon Cider in the Harvest Meadows Designer Series Paper...and topping it off with the new Brushed Metallic self-adhesive dots. We used the Stazon Saddle Brown ink (one of my favorites during the autumn designs because of it's rich soft brown color). This is such a simple design and yet very striking in the autumn tones.

We hope you have enjoyed discovering several beautiful ways to use your new FREE Summer Shadows dies. Tune in next week for something new!

Remember you can get this die set free with a $100 purchase during Sale-a-bration!

I'll give you the step by step directions below followed by the Supply List so you can order your supplies to create this card.

The Summer Shadows dies are such a joy to create with that I couldn't pass up another week of using them.. here's today's creations.

Shaded summer pink row

And a little closer look at those half flowers and leaves...

Shaded Summer - pink row cuThese layering dies give you depth and beautiful highlighting that is so easy and makes you look like a pro.  You can do a contrast in colors as we've done here--using the black to give that sharp crisp overlay. Or you can use two shades of a color--for example two shades of blue as we did for these flowers in  one of our earlier creations..this give less contrast but still a good depth of the image ....

Shaded summer cabana cu

There's another way to break up a home...want to see?

Feels like home 4

Yes, same home but we broke the panels horizontally this time...pretty awesome, right?  In this card we've brightened the background by using the Beautifully Penned designer paper with the white predominating and just small black dots to carry out our black and white color scheme. And instead of coloring the door we just added a hit of red with the narrow  background peeping at the top and bottom of the image.

This is our last in the Feels Like Home Series...I hope you've enjoyed the multiple designs that are possible with this wonderful stamp set as well as some fun with the play on words as we progressed with our designs.

Want to see what a broken home looks like?

Want to see what a broken home looks like? Pretty cool, right--we just broke that panel into 3 equal pieces. Again* we are stamping with the Feels Like Home stamp set but this time we're using the Brick and Mortar embossing folder to carry over the brick in the stamped house. This gives a totally different perspective for the image background.*If you missed the first 2 cards--check last week's posts.

Feels like home3

This time we layered the long horizontal verse across the front which ties the three panels together.

What's black & white & red all over?

What's black and white and red all over? Ohhh, and yes, it feels like home?  It's another beautiful card created with the Feels Like Home stamp set and the Beautifully Penned designer series paper. Here's the card.

Feels like home 2

Tuesday we created a totally black and white card (if you missed it click here https://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2021/08/whats-black-white-and-feels-like-home.html  ) with the same stamp and a different page of the Beautifully Penned DSP. Today we switched to a darker background and added a bit of color--we added the red door and a sentiment...there are some very appropriate sentiments in this stamp set. By using the basic colors there's little to do and the card is spectacular!

Let me remind you that both the stamp set and the designer paper are completely free with purchase of $50 (each item requires a $50 purchase or you can place a $100 purchase and get both).

I'll give you the step by step directions below followed by the Supply List so you can order your supplies to create this card.
