What's black and white and feels like home?  Well, it's a really cute card created with It Feels Like Home stamp set with no coloring! And here's what it looks like.

Directions:

1. Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score the long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut Basic Black cardstock 4 X 5 1/4; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut designer paper (Beautifully Penned) 3 7/8 X 5 1/8; adhere to black layer with liquid glue.

4. Cut Basic Gray 2 3/4 X 3 3/4

5. Cut Basic White 3 5/8 X 2 5/8

    *Stamp home image (Feels Like Home) in Memento black ink

    *Adhere this layer to the Basic Gray layer with liquid glue

    *Adhere this unit to card front with dimensionals.

What's cute, white, free and can jump high red fences? It's a sparkly white sheep from the Counting Sheep Sale-a-bration stamp set! For the last week we've been creating with the adorable stamp set and dies. Today's our last day of playing with this set and here's the answer to today's question...

That bold black and white checked designer paper is another design from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper (a host only item in the annual catalog).  This set has 48 sheets of colored designs and the back sides are all black and white designs---what a fantastic array of useful designs!

2. Cut Real Red cardstock 5 1/4 X 4; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut black and white check designer paper (Pattern Party) 3 7/8 X 5 1/8; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

4. Die cut fence from Real Red cardstock; adhere to cardfront with liquid glue.

5. Stamp sheep in Memento ink on Basic White cardstock, die cut with Sheep die, apply Wink of Stella and adhere to card front with dimensionals.

6. Die cut 2 clouds (Sheep dies) and label (OrnateFrames) from Basic White cardstock. Adhere clouds to card with liquid glue.

7. Stamp verse (Counting Sheep stamp set) in Memento ink on the label; adhere to card front with dimensionals.

8. Adhere three rhinestones (see photo for placement).

1. Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut Basic White cardstock 5 X 3 3/4; run through Ornate Floral folder; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut two pieces of designer paper (Pattern Play) 2 1/8 X 3 1/4; adhere vertically to card front with liquid glue.

4. Die cut scalloped rectangle (So Sweetly Stitched) from Flirty Flamingo cardstock--adhere to card front with liquid glue.

5. Stamp both sheep in Memento ink on Snowy White Velvet paper; die cut (Sheep dies). Adhere to rectangle with dimensionals.

6. Stamp verse (Counting Sheep stamps) in Memento on Snowy White Velvet (5/8 X 1 3/4); adhere above sheep with dimensionals.

7. Adhere 3 Pumpkin Pie sequins (Artistry Blooms) to rectangle (see photo).

What's cute, white, free and fuzzy all over?  It's one of those darling little sheep in the Counting Sheep Sale-a-bration stamp sets that is stamped on Snowy White Velvet--and did I say this stamp set is free? Take a look!

First I stamped the sheep on the white velvet and then die cut it (the Sheep Dies are also FREE during Sale-a-bration)! Then run your finger over the sheep and it's soft a fuzzy all over! What fun--they are cute as a button and fuzzy too!

...and take a look at the sparkle along the border...

Directions

1. Cut Pool Party cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut Be Dazzling 5 1/4 X 4; adhere to card front with liquid glue

3. Cut Harvest Meadow designer paper (Pool party design) 5 1/8 X 3 7/8; adhere to Be Dazzling with glue dots;

4. Die cut doily (Encircled in Beauty dies) from Bermuda Bay cardstock--adhere to card front with liquid glue (include the circle in the middle that is from the doily).

5. Stamp sheep (Counting Sheep stamps) in Memento ink on Snowy White Velvet; die cut with Sheep dies) adhere to doily with dimensionals

6. Die cut label (Ornate Frames dies) from Pool Party cardstock; stamp verse (Counting Sheep stamps) in Memento ink; adhere to card front with a dimensional under the left side (note- you can attach to the sheep with a dot of glue).

7. Adhere 3 Pool Party rhinestones (Holiday rhinestones) as shown in photo.

How to Create the Quickest Card Ever (with a bit of color)!

Today I'll show you How to Create the Quickest Card Ever (with a bit of color)Last Thursday we created the Quickest Card---today, we're adding just a hint of color to the black and white theme of the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper. For those of you who enjoy a bit of coloring this adds a bit of charm to the lovely designer paper used for the card front.

It's the same card as Tuesday but one flower trio is colored in red, the ribbon has been substituted with red satin and the butterfly has an underlay of red to contrast the black glitter paper butterfly. What a difference a bit of color makes! Either card is beautiful and the base is the same...it's the free Beautifully Penned DSP.

Directions

1. Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut Basic Black cardstock 3 3/4 X 5

3. Cut flowery designer paper (Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper) 3 5/8 X 4 7/8; adhere to black layer with liquid glue. Add coloring to one flower trio with Dark Real Red Blend; add a touch of Wink of Stella (141879) Adhere rhinestones (144220) to the flower centers.

4. Cut approximately 15" Real Red double-stitched satin ribbon; wrap around above unit and tie in a knot; anchor the knot to the card front with a glue dot.

5. Adhere this unit to card front with liquid glue.

6. Die cut small butterfly from Black Glitter paper; die cut the solid coordinating butterfly from Real Red cardstock. Adhere the black layer to the red solid layer with a glue dot. Adhere this unit to card front with a glue dot.

For those of you who are not fond of coloring techniques..this card is just perfect ---no stamping and no coloring required. Just an embellishment of the die cut butterfly and and a glittery bow add all the touches of elegance required to make this lovely design.

Directions

1. Cut Crushed Curry 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base)

2. Cut Crushed Curry 5 3/8 X 4 1/8

    *Put through Time-worn type folder

    *Using a dauber and Crushed Curry enhance the folder embossing

    *Adhere this layer to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut Very Vanilla 4 X 3 1/8

    *Stamp dahlia outline in Memento ink; stamp solid image in Crushed Curry ink. Add Wink of Stella to the petals.

    *Stamp dahlia again on copy paper, hand cut the image with paper snips; cover the image on the vanilla cardstock.

    *Stamp leaf outline in memento ink, stamp leaf solid in Old Olive ink

    *Stamp verse in Saddle Brown ink

    *Add bumblbee embellishment with a glue dot

4. Cut Basic Black cardstock 3 1/2 X 3 1/2; adhere to back of stamped later with glue; adhere this unit to card front with dimensionals.

Here's a hint for you before you begin your stamping adventure with this set...the outline image & solid image overlay quite well--if you care.  If you are just enjoying the stamping--don't worry about it but if you do want to do a very close overlay, mark both stamps with a black marker so that you know how to align them quickly...below are the 2 stamps which I have marked 2 spots on each stamp. This way when I'm stamping I can quickly locate the exact overlay.

Directions

1. Cut Mango Melody cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base)

2. Cut Mango Melody 5 7/16 X 4 3/16, put through Timber folder (156406) ; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 5 1/4 X 3 1/2

    *Stamp large dahlia outline image in Pumpkin Pie ink over entire piece

    *Overlay large solid dahlia image in Mango Melody

4. Cut Pumpkin Pie 4 3/4 X 4 3/4; adhere to back of Vanilla stamped piece with liquid glue (see photo).

5. Cut approximately 12" Pale Papaya ribbon, tie around above unit in a knot (see photo); adhere this unit to card front with liquid glue.

6. Stamp 'thank you kindly' in Saddle Brown on Very Vanilla; punch with small oval punch (Double Oval punch). Punch another from Early Espresso, cut in the middle horizontally & adhere pieces to back of stamped oval so slight edge of expresso shows at the top & bottom.

Split label

Attach to card front with dimensionals.

Adhere 1 large & 2 small Pumpkin Pie Artistry Blooms sequins to label and card--see photo.
