How to Create a Simple Delicate Dahlia Card

Today I'll show you How to Create a Simple Delicate Dahlia Card. This lovely stamp set is absolutely free--it's a Sale-a-bration freebie! This simple design displays the delicacy and beautiful shading that is built in the stamp...just ink and stamp and the professional shading is done for you.

1. Cut Crushed Curry 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base)

2. Cut Crushed Curry 5 3/8 X 4 1/8

    *Put through Time-worn type folder

    *Using a dauber and Crushed Curry enhance the folder embossing

    *Adhere this layer to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut Very Vanilla 4 X 3 1/8

    *Stamp dahlia outline in Memento ink; stamp solid image in Crushed Curry ink. Add Wink of Stella to the petals.

    *Stamp dahlia again on copy paper, hand cut the image with paper snips; cover the image on the vanilla cardstock.

    *Stamp leaf outline in memento ink, stamp leaf solid in Old Olive ink

    *Stamp verse in Saddle Brown ink

    *Add bumblbee embellishment with a glue dot

4. Cut Basic Black cardstock 3 1/2 X 3 1/2; adhere to back of stamped later with glue; adhere this unit to card front with dimensionals.
