Today we're going to Learn the Secret to Creating a Little White Magic! Tuesday we created Black Magic and today we're creating White Magic. The Flower Market Die Cut is the "white" part and that amazing pastel watercolor background is the Magic behind the White....check it out...
What I've had a terrible time doing is trying to show you the sparkle in that magic...try this view
If you look closely you'll see the bits of Wink that were splattered on the water coloring as the finishing touch---in really life this just creates a fantastic glittery background that is super easy to create--again...you need to try this to see the entire gorgeousness of this effect. Imagine that the colored layer is glimmer paper--that's how sparkly it is.
This card uses Fresh Fresia, Polished Pink, and Bermuda Bay...but any color combo you enjoy can work beautifully with this card.
This is the last card using the Water Painters for awhile--they are just so much fun that I want to go on and on--which you can...try this technique for an afternoon of fun.
I'm going to give you step by step directions followed by the Supply list so you can purchase your supplies today.

1. Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score long side at 5 1/2 (card base).
2. Cut Watercolor paper 5 3/8 X 4
*Add a couple of drops of reinker in the ink pad lid of Fresh Fresia, Polished Pink and Bermuda Bay (you can use any other waterproof container for this)
*Using the largest Water Painter and circular motions, cover the paper with color overlapping the circles to blend colors. Work quickly and don't go over one area repeatedly to avoid pilling.
*Using Wink of Stella, spatter over entire layer (flick brush against cap while holding over layer).
*Let dry or use heat tool to speed up drying.
3. Cut Flower Market die from 4 X 5 3/8 Basic White cardstock; adhere to painted layer with small dots of liquid glue; adhere this unit to the card front with liquid glue.
4. Cut approximately 15" Polished Pink ribbon, tie around card front and into a bow.
5. Adhere large rhinestones to center of the large flowers in the die cut.
