And then I tried mixing the Polished Pink and black ink...like this....

And then I couldn't decide which I preferred...so I decided to show them both to you and let you decide....or not! Go ahead and make them both...if you're like me--I really love both of them and so I"ll be doing more of both of them!

Directions:

1. Cut Polished Pink cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score long side at 5 1/2 (card base).

2. Cut Basic Black cardstock 4 X 5 1/4

3. Cut designer paper 1 1/2 X 3 7/8; adhere to bottom of black layer with liquid glue.

4. Cut Basic White cardstock 3 7/8 X 3 3/4

    *stamp Daisy Garden in Polished Pink ink or black ink (e.g. Memento).

    *Adhere this layer top of black layer with liquid glue.

    *Cut approximately 18" Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon, wrap around this unit (see photo) and tie in bow on front (adhere bow knot to front with glue dot).

    *Adhere this entire unit to card base with liquid glue.

5. Adhere 3 Black Matte Dots or 2021-2021 Polished Pink jewels to card in an approximate triangle--see photo.

Last week I promised you a "No Color Daisy Garden Card." Last week we created some lovely cards with this beautiful background stamp. Realizing that some aren't as fond of coloring as some of us are...I promised a card without ANY coloring! Here you go....

Here's a bit closer look

I'm quite a fan of black and white cards with just a splash of red...this card is totally black and white with just a touch of red rhinestones to  spice it up--still with no coloring and still a fabulous card. 2. Cut Basic Black cardstock 4 X 5 1/4

3. Cut designer paper 1 1/2 X 4; adhere to bottom of black layer with liquid glue.

Today we doing a twist on the Tuesday's card..."Picture" This with your Daisy Garden! Tuesday we created a beautiful simple card using the wonderful new Daisy Garden background stamp. Today's card turns that simple card into a "window" effect....

Doesn't this simple change provide a wonderful new perspective using this same single stamp? By simply cutting the image into 4 rectangles--we've changed the perspective into a stunning new view.

1. Cut Polished Pink* cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score long side at 5 1/2 (card base).

*Note: Use any color cardstock for which you have matching/coordinating Blends to color flowers)

2. Cut Basic White cardstock 4 1/2 X 3 3/4

    *Stamp Daisy Garden in Memento ink (#132708)

    *Color with Dark Polished Pink, Light Soft Succulent, and Light Crumb Cake Blends.

    *Cut cardstock stamped cardstock horizontally at 2 1/4 and each of those pieces vertically at 1 7/8

3. Cut Basic Black cardstock 3 1/2 X 4 7/8

    *Adhere the stamped pieces with liquid glue approximately 1/8" from top and bottom of the black layer and leaving approximately 1/16" between the 4 "window" pieces....see photo for placement.

    *Adhere this unit to card front with liquid glue.

4. Die cut two small butterflies (Natures Thoughts dies) from Basic Black cardstock

    *Adhere with glue dot as shown in photo.

6. Die cut small butterfly (Brilliant Wings dies) from Basic Black cardstock; adhere with glue dot to card front (see photo for placement); add 1 large and 3 small Polished Pink jewels to body of the butterfly.

Today I'll show you how to Create Beautiful Simple Cards wih the New Stampin'Up! In Colors.

Today I'm going to show you how to create one pretty simple design and this design works really well with all the colors...I showed these cards when we were chatting last week about the In Color club. This week I'll give you the directions to create them and following the directions I"ll give you the supply list.

Directions:

1. Cut Polished Pink cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base)

2. Cut Basic White cardstock 3 1/4 X 4 1/2; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut Polished Pink Designer Series Paper 3 1/8 X 4 3/8; adhere to white layer with liquid glue.

4. Die cut flower (Meadow Dies) from Basic White cardstock; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

5. Die cut label (Scalloped Contours Dies) from Basic White cardstock; stamp verse (Color & Contours stamp set) in Polished Pink Ink; adhere over stem of flower with diemensionals.

6. Cut approximately 8" of Polished Pink ribbon, tie in bow and adhere to flower stem above label with a glue dot. 

Now you'll want to create the same card in each of the other new In Colors!

Today I'll show you a Quick and Easy Awesome Gift Bag!

We're still swooning over the new Stampin'Up! In Colors and there are Ombre Gift Bags in all 5 of the new In Colors...

Each color is quite beautiful on its own...without any embellishment---but adding a bit of design and a cool quick tag and ribbon just increase the awesomeness to the next level of terrific!

By simply stamping a beautiful design in the same color....in this case Soft Succulent in a random pattern--we immediately get a boost up the terrific scale.

Then  we add a large tag in the same color (soft succulent) topped by a smaller tag in a coordinating pattern and color (Handpenned Designer paper) and tie the 2 together with gold Simply Elegant Trim. Now top this off with one of the new In Color Open Weave ribbons...and we're way up there on the terrific scale!!!

The only thing left is to pop in that little gift--a gift card, a scarf, a bit of candy--your imagination is the limit---now you're really going to wow the recipient!
