Last Goodby to Stampin'Up! Retiring Woodland Wonder Stamp Set!

Today we're saying our Last Goodby to Stampin'Up! retiring Woodland Wonder stamp set!  This little set breaths summertime sweetness...then we are surrounding it with the Stitched Whimsey die to give it a cute frame (BTW this die set it NOT retiring).  When you look at this card can't you feel a warm summer breeze stiring the leaves while that little blue bird signs a sweet song in the air?

WOODLAND WONDER

You can expand this tree trunk & lenthen the card---check out the directions in the JJ Mini catalog on page 53.

Tuesday I promised a helpful hint! OK ....do the loose ends of your ribbons drive you crazy--I usually use a piece of scotch tape to tape them to the spool, but then each time I  have to cut the tape off the end of the ribbon and get a new piece to retape the new end.

So here's my hint...take a piece of Tear & Tape & adhere it to the spool like this and remove the paper topping...

Tape

Then press the cut end of your ribbon on it...when you need a piece just lift the ribbon, cut what you need & press the new end onto the Tear & Tape.  After several uses if tape doesn't 'stick'  add another piece over the top of it. Happy ribbon cutting!

I chose to color mine but if you don't love coloring you can simply leave them black and white-- their natural color.

In addition to the images there are five great greetings that work well with these designs as well as with other cards images too.
