Directions:

1. Cut Coastal Cabana cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score long side at 5 1/2 (card base).

2. Cut Basic White cardstock 4 X 5 1/4, put through Tasteful Textures folder.

    *Cut designer paper (Butterfly Bijou) 4 X 2 1/4.
    *Adhere to bottom of white layer with liquid glue.
    *Cut approximately 6" Coastal Cabana ribbon (Playing with Patterns combo) and adhere above top edge of designer paper on the white layer using Stampin' Seal.
    *Stamp Happy Birthday (Happy Thoughts stamp set in black ink, e.g. Memento).
    *Adhere this white layer to card front with liquid glue.

3. Stamp multi-butterfly stamp on Basic White cardstock in Memento ink; die cut with multi-butterfly die.
    *Select the buttefly for this card and color with Light & Dark Bermuda Bay Blend and highlight with Wink of Stella    
    *Add a large rhinestone to the butterfly head.
    *Adhere butterfly to card (see photo) with glue dots on the underside of the body.

Ok, now you've seen the building blocks...here's our first project using just one of the large butterfly dies...

We're simply layering a small piece of the Butterfly Bijou designer paper under the die cut butterfly (the butterfly is die cut right from the top layer of the card & re-inserted with dimensionals)...

Here's a closer look at the butterfly--it's been painted with the Champagne shimmer paint that really makes it stand out.

1. Cut Shimmery white cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score long side at 5 1/2 (card base).

2. Cut Petal Pink cardstock 3 7/8 X 5 1/8.

3. Cut Shimmery white cardstock 3 3/4 X 5,

    *Die cut the largest butterfly from the top portion
    *Stamp Thinking of You in black ink (e.g. Memento) in the lower part
    *Run this piece through the Ornate Floral folder
    *Turn this pieceto the back side and adhere dimensional around the edge (see below).

4. Cut designer paper (Butterfly Bijou) 3 X 3 5/8; adhere this to the dimensionals--be sure the good side is down and will show through the butterfly window...note the bottom dimensionals will not adhere to anything yet.

5. Add a few dots of liquid glue to the back of the designer paper and adhere this to the Petal Pink layer; then adhere this unit to the card front with liquid glue.

6. Sponge Champagne shimmer paint on the butterfly die cut; add mini dimensionals to the underside of belly of the butterfly --adhere to the space from which it was die cut on the card front.

7. Add Champagne rhinestones to the body of the butterfly (see photo)

Today Pierced Blooms Make a Gorgeous Comeback! If you remember Tuesday we created with one of the 2019-2021 In Colors that will be retiring soon. Today we'll be creating with Seaside Spray which is another amazing color in that group that is retiring...in fact, it is my favorite color out of all 50 Stampin'Up! colors right now--it's MY blue! I'm really going to miss it!

1. Cut Seaside Spray cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base)

2. Cut Basic White cardstock 4 X 5 1/4; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut Paper Blooms designer paper 2 1/2 X 4 adhere to white layer with liquid glue; cut Navy cardstock 1/2 X 4 and adhere over the seam of the designer paper and the white cardstock.

4. Die cut a 4-petal pierced blooms from Seaside cardstock; die cut pointed petal flower from Seaside Spray; and die two leaf stems from Old Olive cardstock.

    *Adhere the two flowers together at the center with a dimensionals; add a large Cabana Artistry Blooms sequin to the flower center; adhere this flower to the card front with a dimentional; add two small cabana sequins to the side--see photo for placement

    *Adhere the Leaf stems with liquid glue to the left of the flowers--see photo for placement

We need to  Create With Them Now...THey Won't Be With Us Much Longer! Yes, the 2019-2021 In Colors will only be with us another couple of months! So I decided I want to create with them before they retire and disappoear forever!

Today's creation is focusing on Rococo Rose (with a minor in Seaside Spray)....here's our card for today...

4. Die cut five 5-petal pierced blooms from Rococo Rose cardstock; die cut 4 small flowers from Seaside Spray; and die cut bow from Navy cardstock.

    *Adhere the 5-petal Rose flowers in a bunched grouping and adhere with dimensionals; add a large Razzleberry Artistry Blooms sequin to each center

    *Adhere the small Seaside flower with glue dots where there is a small opening in your rose bunch

    *Adhere the navy bow under the bunch of flowers with a glue dot.

Today I'll show you how to Create a Lovely Desk Art Gallery in Seconds for Pennies! After Tuesday's adventure with a wall hanging, I noticed a frame in the book case with nothing in it--then I though--hey, let's see what we can do...and even more quickly than the wall hanging I had a gorgeous framed Desk Art to really brighten up a winter day with the promis of spring.

Yes, I used the same sheet of Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper but just the upper left corner this time...

I simply cut a 5 X 7 piece from the 12 X 12 Fine Floral Art designer paper, inserted it in the frame (I did remove the glass) and added a bright shiny brass butterfly using the Floating & Fluttering die set (Fluttering Dies) with the ultra shiny brass foil paper. I pulled up the wings slightly and adhered the butterfly with a glue dot. And, it's kind of like magic but I didn't need my wand this time.

Need to brighten up a shelf in your stamp room or need a quick pick-me-up gift for a friend? You can complete this project in less than 10 minutes and that's if you have to grab coffee first!

Today I'm going to show you how to create Elegant Wall Art Gallery in Seconds.....for just pennies...check this out....

No, I am not an artist! I cannot even draw stick figures well--even my handwriting is atrocious (right, Diane?)! But this wall art is simply exquisite and I created it in just seconds...the base art is a sheet of Designer Series Paper from that elegant set Fine Art Florals. There are multitudes of beautiful designs in that set for creating cards and memory albums...but this one leaped from the set and screamed---I'm Wall Art! And so, it is.

I added a couple of accent pieces...see the butterflies in brass foil paper....

I also stamped and added two flowers using the 2-step stamps from the Art Gallery stamp set (Blushing Bride and Poppy Parade ink) and adhered them to the flower field with dimensionals--this adds a bit of interest and depth to the entire layout...

Of course, you can change the complete look of the art by changing the frame color--but I chose white to enhance the bright fresh look of the art...by changing the frame to black and changing the butterflies to black the entire feel is different.

So grab a sheet of this exquisite designer paper and a frame--see what your Art Gallery looks like!

2. Cut Shaded Spruce cardstock 5 X 3 3/4, adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut Soft Seafoam cardstock 3 5/8 X 4 7/8

    *Stamp small corner image in Shaded Spruce ink (well inked pad) in the left corner; add Wink of Stella to image (note: Wink will smear the ink--so just dabbing will work better than brushing)

    *Stamp small corner image again in Shaded Spruce ink but this time turn it horizontally and stamp in the lower right corner

    *Stamp "If things really do..." in Memento ink in the middle of the front

4. Adhere two large and one small Coastal Cabana Artistry Blooms sequins (see photo for placement).

5. Adhere this layer to card front with liquid glue.
