Today I'll show you the Easiest Quickest Christmas Gift Decoration!  By now we're in high gear for making Christmas Gifts...so today I'll show you a lovely gift that you can create in about 15 minutes (it takes a few minutes to clean the glass)..

So this is the simple wall hanging without any adornment---it's in a white frame

Here's the same hanging--with "Peace" added and in a red frame...so you can see how just a change in color of the frame can make this hanging look a bit different.

Good things about this gift are that it is gender neutral and whether or not you celebrate Christmas or another winter holiday--it still works!

We're using the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper...just slip the sheet out of the package and into a 12 X 12 frame that you can locate an any number of stores this season.  You can leave the glass in or remove it--that's sort of personal preference.

You can also add a red bow to the top or bottom of the frame--also personal preference but I just like it without. You can also add some Wink of Stella to the snowcaps on the mountains and other snowy areas..again what you like.

Since each package of designer paper has 2 sheets of this design--you can have 2 gifts ready in less that 20 minutes...not too bad. And since the designer paper is $11.50 and you'll still have 10 sheets left to play with (tune back in Thursday for another use for this DSP), these become a relatively inexpensive but striking gift.

Today we'll be creating the Last But Not Least Quite Curvy Card! We've had some great fun with the new bundle (and Curvy Christmas stamp set) these last 2 weeks. Today will be our last project using these awesome products. The cards we've made are designed to show you the versatility and and fun we can have with  these products.  Here's today's card.

This one angles the curve so you have a cute little hill with our birds having something fun to play on.  The versatility of these dies and stamps make them a really good choice---just have fun trying new combinations and new ways to use them! Directions:

1. Cut Soft Seafoam cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score the long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut 4 X 5 1/4 Whisper White cardstock and put through the Ornate Floral embossing folder.

3. Cut 3 3/4 X 4 Soft Seafoam cardstock

    *Using ornate border die--angle the die from upper right corner (3 3/4 is the vertical measurement, 4" is the horizontal) down to the bottom of the lower left--put through die cut machine.

    *Stamp verse in black ink (e.g. Stazon Jet Black or Memento #132708)--remember if you need to adjust the curve you can bend the stamp on the block.

    *Adhere this to the card front with liquid glue.

4. Stamp the leaf border in Memento ink on white cardstock, cut out with corresponding die; color with Light & Dark Shaded Spruce Blends; adhere above ornate border with dimensionals

5. Stamp bird in Memento ink on white carstock, cut out with corresponding dies and color with Light & Dark Seaside Spray Blends; adhere to card with dimensionals

From the quick easy leafy border to the two singing blue birds..this fun cheery card will bring tons of sunny smiles to the recipient. The leafy border and the bird dies make quick work of cutting these out. Blends make the coloring fun and easy--or you can just add a few green leaves and leave most of them uncolored...there are many ways to lesson the time spent creating while still having a beautiful birthday wish.

Directions:

1. Cut Soft Seafoam cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score the long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut Whisper White cardstock 3 3/4 X 5 1/2; Cut two pieces of designer paper (Classic Christmas dsp) 1 X 5 1/2, adhere with liquid glue to the top and bottom of the horizontal white cardstock.

3. Stamp 2 leafy borders in Memento ink; color with Light & Dark Shaded Spruce Blends; cut with dies and adhere to the designer paper with liquid glue (see photo for placement).

4. Stamp verse in Shaded Spruce ink (remember if the verse doesn't fit the curve you can bend it to fit).

5. Stamp both birds in Memento ink on Whisper White cardstock, color with Light & Dark Seaside Spray Blends; cut out with corresponding dies and adhere over lower leafy border with dimensionals.

6. Adhere one large and 2 small Artistry Blooms adhesive-backed sequins (see photo for placement)

Today we're going to create a Quite Curvy Christmas Card in Just Minutes...what do you think?

For this card we used the dotted curvy die twice--first on the designer paper and second on the Champagne foil--then layered them for a doubly curvy set of dots that just highlight the verse. The remarkable thing about this set of products (other than they coordinate with each other fantastically) is that you can achieve an amazing design in such a short time. The design is in the dies and stamps---you just need to layer them to result in these beauties.

Directions:

1. Cut Just Jade cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score the long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut designer series paper (Classic Christmas DSP, Sahara Sand) 3 X 5 1/2; cut approximately 1" from bottom with the dotted curvy die 

3. Cut Champagne foil (#144748) 2 X 5 1/2; cut approximately in the middle with the dotted curvy die; adhere to the underside of the dsp pieces with glue dots. Adhere these units to the card base using liquid glue--note: leave about 1/8" of the Just Jade card base showing at the top and bottom.

4. Stamp verse in black ink (e.g. Stazon Tuxedo black or Memento); remember if your paper curves do not match your verse curves you can bend the stamp to fit

5. Cut 2 sprigs of leaves (Curvy dies) from Shaded Spruce cardstock; adhere to right of verse with glue dots

6. Cut approximately 8" red gold-edged ribbon (All the Trimmings Combo ribbon), tie in  bow and adhere where the sprigs cross with a glue dot.
