We're going to have a series of designs using this set of products...here's today's card
NavyThis is a pretty simple card but that's the wonderful thing about this suite of products--you can do some awesome designs with just a little work! This card has a Night of Navy base with an overlay of white using one of the border dies....a couple of stamps and two flowers and we are done!
I'll give you the directions to create this card...remember, you can't place your order til after midnight tonight! But tomorrow we are ready to go.
I'll be placing orders for this suite of products tomorrow (call 410 836 8016) or
    email [email protected]
you can place your order by clicking on one of the images below to order the supplies you need to create this card.

Directions:
1. Cut Night of Navy cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score the long side at 4 1/4  (card base)
2. Cut Whisper White cardstock 3 3/4 X 5 1/2; use the flower/stem die along one of the long sides
Side die
(save the "trash" from the die cut); adhere with liquid glue to the card front leaving approximate 1/4" navy border showing at the fold.
3. Stamp the verse--lay the 2 verses on the card front where you want them to appear. Place a large clear block over the stamps and push gently; ink up the stamp with Night of Navy ink and stamp all at one time. (this works great if you are stamping several cards at one time).
Adding block
4. Cut one large and one small flower with the flower dies and adhere with liquid glue.
5. Now open the card and adhere some of the "cut out" pieces from your die cutting. Using the ornate die (So Sweetly Stitched die set) cut from Whisper White cardstock--adhere this near the middle of the inside to write your greeting.

6. Your card is ready for sending! Mail it to someone today.

I'm Just Pleased as Punch

Today I'm going to show you a cute little card that I'm Just Pleased as Punch about! I created it with no stamping except the greeting...that's right....take a look a this litle cutie:

Angled card

I created this with the Coordination Product  "Pleased as Punch" Designer Series Paper...it's one of those products that doesn't appear in any catalog--but the products "coordinate" with either a product in the Jan-June Mini or the Sale-a-bration catalog....each design in the dsp coordinates with a different punch

Do you know what the problem is? The Coordination products are only avaiable until 3/31--so you don't want to delay getting what you need! The brochures can be downloaded here Download 12.01.19_CUSTOMER_FLYER_OOP_Q1_NA (1) and here Download 01.01.20_COORDINATION_FLYER_OOP_Q1_NA

Before we get the card directions for today...

First, we have a Sandi's Stampers Pinterest Board that you are welcome to look at AND (please) send me a picture of what you are creating so I can post it here Sandi's Stampers Pinterest Board. We want to see what our fellow stampers are creating (send it to [email protected])...please share the link with other stamper!

Second, each week (for at least 4 weeks) I'm creating a series of 6 projects based on a single stamp set--each day for a week (except Sunday) you'll receive a link to that day's project... download the brochure here ... Download Ssso  These projects (mostly cards but occasionally I might have a simple 3D  project) are designed to be relatively simple without much die cutting. The first series is based on the Abstract Impressions stamp set...don't have it--use something else that you have (or order the set and do the cards when you receive it). Check out the brochure!

Directions:

1. Cut Thick White Cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score long side at 5 1/2 (card base)

2. Cut Old Olive cardstock 3 1/2 X 4; adhere to card front with liquid glue (#110755) & 3 1/2 side at the top.

3. Cut the pink checkered piece of DSP (backside of hearts page) at 3 3/8 X 3 7/8; adhere to Olive layer with liquid glue.

4. Punch four Tulips from the DSP; add Wink of Stella

Punch out the imaes

Take care to punch from left side of paper to the right....

Punch left to right

To avoid punching into good images like this..

Careful not to do this

5. Punching the leaves is best done by first hand cutting those sections; then attaching a post it note

Post it note

and using it has a handle so be better able to maneuver the small piece in the punch (punch 4 leaves)

6. Adhere tulips & leaves with liquid glue to left side (see pic)

7. Punch 2 small butterflies with Butterfly Duet punch & Calypso Coral cardstock; adhere with glue dots (103683); add rhinestones to their centers.

Also, if you have been getting the emails you know that we are hosting a private "Pinterest" board for those of you who want to create a project using Stampin'Up! products (does not have to be current product)--take a pic and email it to me ([email protected]) and I'll post it on the board and you can see what others are creating while we are social distancing at Sandi's Stampers Pinterest Board

Today we'll create the So Very Vellym #4- the last of our series. This little lovey was designed to mimic a quilt top--with the small squares and appliqued flowers (ours are punched out--much much easier--if you're a quilter you know what I mean!)

Quilt 2

This card in our series requires a few more minutes but not as many as you might think...and because each square is 1 X 1"--you can make 16 cards with one 12 X 12 piece of our precious vellum!

"Simply" Beautiful Card #4

Today's card is the last in our mini series of simple beaustiful cards -- "Simply" Beautiful Card #4. This card  again features the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper--this time using the interesting pattern of a flower design embedded so that the petals of adjacent flower are part of the surrounding flowers...really beautiful and lends itself to many coloring designs...however, our card today uses a very simple design by coloring flowers that are not adjacent thus leaving a trio of uncolored  flower petals (that could easily be colored green to give the effect of green leaves)...can you see it?

Embeded flowersI used the Rococo Rose Blends (alcohol marker) to color--this color flows onto the paper so freely and you can do shading it you want to--but it's not necessary to get this beautiful design to pop out! Again--very easy and very quick!

Here's a close up on the colored flower.

Embeded flowers - close up

The designer paper starts out looking like this...and we simply add a few embellishments and a greeting for a truly beautiful design.
