"Simply" Beautiful Cards

Today we're starting a short series of "Simply" Beautiful Cards. There's a gorgeous set of designer paper that will be a Sale-a-bration freebie starting 3/3/20. It's "simply" so pretty that we can create some special cards very "simply."
The Designer paper looks like this...
The copper and silver foils are embedded in the thick white cardstock...just a gorgeous collection of patterns with many many variations to create lovely designs.
So, here's our first design using the floral pattern done in copper and silver foil:
It's truly a simple design but perfect for showing off this beautiful pattern. I used the alcohol Blends for coloring--you can use the Stampin'Write markers or Watercolor pencils, or.....you can leave it with no color and it will still be perfect! Ahhh, to color or not to color--that is the question!
Also, since we are using no greeting on this card (why cover this flower) it is an excellent addition to your stock because it can be used for almost any occasion--birthday, thank you, anniversary, get well, thinking of you....whatever the occasion it will work!

Directions:
1. Cut Rococo Rose cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2; score long side at 5 1/2 (card base)
2. Cut Copper Foil 5 X 3 3/4; adhere to card base front with liquid glue
3. Cut floral pattern of Flowering Foils Specialty DSP 3 5/8 X 4 7/8; cut 14" white/silver ribbon--wrap around this layer and tie in a knot near bottom; adhere to copper layer with glue dots.
4. With Rococo Rose, Light Shaded Spruce, and Light Crumb Cake Blends--color one large image. This step is optional.
