"Simply" Sandi Stamping

Today we're starting a series of projects called "Simply" Sandi Stamping---these project are based on a simple design that we can ratchet up if we want to with some very simple steps (This is not the same as Sandi's Simply Stamping which are card kits for you to make at your leisure.)

Today's project begins with the 3 X 3 Best Dressed Note Cards in the new Stamin'Up! Jan-Jun Mini catalog (after this we'll just call it the "mini".) These cuties have a very basic pre-printed design and are coordinated with lovely scalloped flap envelopes..they look like this right out of the package.  151322G

By the way, these little note cards fit right inside those little purses that are created with the Dressed to Impress framelits (#1516650--check out these bags on page 54 in the mini--a great gift idea when you pack it with these cute notecards).

I'm stamping with the new stamp set Positive Thoughts which is actually a FREE stamp set from the Sale-a-bration mini catalog. The reason I chose this set is because in February/March a new set of framelits will be available that coordinate with this stamp set (more about this later).

Today we are "Simply" adding black ink and Holiday Rhinestones (yes, these carried over....wahoooooo!). Here's the notecard with its matching envelope: Butterfly notecard

Simple, right, but totally awesome and striking with the black on Daffodil Delight! I'll give you the 'simple' directions below followed by the Supply List. Use this list to purchase the supplies you'll need.

Now remember I mentioned framelits to coordinate with this stamp set--Stampin'Up! is releasing 6 new products only in Feb and March--while supplies last and for this limited time. These are called Coordination products because all 6 coordinate with products in the Mini or the Sale-a-bration mini...to see both of these just click on the Catalogs button.

The brochures describing the Coordination products can be downloaded here Download 01.01.20_COORDINATION_FLYER_OOP_Q1_NA and here Download 12.01.19_CUSTOMER_FLYER_OOP_Q1_NA.

and

*If you place an online order and us this month's Host Code (PD4T2Y4X) you'll receie $5 in Stampin'Up! product from me!

Directions:

1. Mount the "hugs, prayers, love" stamp and the butterfly stamp on a clear block--this way you don't have to position the stamps each time...here's how to do that...lay your uninked stamps in the position you want them right on top of the notecard. Press the clear block firmly on top of the stamps--they will adhere to the block..ready for stamping

Stamps on block

2. Using Jet Black Stazon ink stamp the image on the 3 X 3 Best Dressed Daffodil Delight notecard.

3. Adhere 3 gold rhinestones (from Holiday Rhinestones) in an off center triangle.

Your notecard is completed.

You'll want to stop back by on Friday to see how we upgrade this to a full greeting card.  But right now..check out the supply list below.

Here's my first project....the Valentine's card...since I'm really going to try to keep on target I wanted to make it relatively simple while still having that Wow factor! So here it is... Card

You may wonder how I got that pink heart to shine like that...the secret is that it is punched from the new From My Heart Specialty Designer Paper--that's right...use that new Heart punch with the scalloped edge and just punch it out of the designer paper.
