Pretty Card Without Coloring

Today I'm going to show you another Pretty Card Without Coloring. Isn't this a lovely card...see the shading on the blossom...but all this came from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.

I used the Layering Squares to extract the blossom from the designer paper--I used the scalloped edged one first. Then you can either use the larger layering squares for the backings or you can simply cut the squares to form the "framing."
I also added some Wink of Stella(#141897) to the blossom and it simply adds a bit of sparkly charm to the image.

Directions for making the card:
1. Cut Blushing Bride cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score the long side at 5 1/2 (card base)
2. Cut the striped designer paper (Magnolia Lane DSP) 4 X 5 1/4; adhere to card front with liquid glue.
3. Cut out the magnolia blossom withe the scalloped Layering square die; highlight the blossom with Wink of Stella.
4. Cut the following layers: 1 7/8 square of Gold Glimmer paper, 2 5/8 X 2 5/8 Garden Green, and 2 7/8 X 2 7/8 Basic Black cardstock. Adhere the blossom cut out to the glimmer paper with glue dots. Adhere the other two layers with liquid glue. Attach the layered unit to the card front with liquid glue.
5. Stamp Happy Birthday (Magnolia Blooms stamp set) in Jet Black Stazon ink.
