Create a DIY Mother's Day Treat with Apron Builder Dies by Stampin'Up!

Today I'll show you how to Create a DIY Mother's Day Treat with Apron Builder Dies by Stampin'Up!.

Monday we created a beautiful Mother's Day card using the Apron Builder dies...today we're using the same dies to create a DIY cute treat holder--you could use this as a gift card holder too! Not only for Mother's Day for for any occasion ---or none at all! 4-26-19 Apron treat holder 4-26-19 April filled

Directions:

1. Using the Apron die apron Builder die set) cut one apron from Tea Room DSP and 2 from So Saffron cardstock; adhere the DSP apron to the front of one of the cardstock apron cut outs with liquid glue.

2. Cut a neck piece, 2 ties, and a pocket from Crushed Curry cardstock; adhere to DSP apron; punch (Itty Bitty Blooms punches) 2 Pool Party flowers and 2 from Coastal Coastal Cabana (#213297); adhere pearls to centers and adhere to pocket top with glue dots

3. Cut heart from Bermuda Bay cardstock and scissors from gold foil--adhere these to apron front with liquid glue.

4. Cut 3 X 4 from So Saffron cardstock, score all sides at 1". Cut up to next score line on the short sides--see picture; and add Tear and Tape to one outside tab and the middle tab. Fold the untaped end in, then the remaining outside end (removing tape topping and adhere to the untaped end; lastly fold up the middle tab and tape to the outside of the folded tabs. Repeat on other side--this is the treat box. Box 1 Box 2

5. Adhere this box to the inside bottom of the 2 apron pieces; add shred and your treats! You are ready to surprise someone with a quick a cute treat!

Mother's Day Card with Apron of Love

Mother's Day is quickly approaching so today we're creating a Mother's Day Card with Apron of Love -  Stampin'Up! This little stamp set is one that we only have for another few weeks--yes, it is retiring at the end of May. This little cutie can be used for anyone (not just Mom) by omitting the "Mom' stamp and leaving it blank or adding a different phrase....that makes this one of those cards that can be used for multiple occasions! 4-24-19 Apron of Love

You see a strip of lovely Designer Series Paper in the background--this is from Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper which is also on the retiring list!

Directions:

1. Cut Daffodil Delight cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score the long  side at 5 1/2 (card base)

2. Cut Daffodil Delight cardstock at 4 1/8 X 5 3/8, dry emboss with the Quilt Top embossing folder; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut Designer paper (Tea Room DSP) 2 X 5 3/8; adhere to card front with liquid glue

4. Cut apron (Apron Builder dies) from Calypso Coral sheet (Tea Room DSP; cut strings and neck band from scraps of Calypso Coral cardstock (item #122925); adhere these to back of apron with liquid glue.

5. Cut scalloped pocket from  scrap of Whisper White cardstock (#100730); stamp Mom in Stazon; adhere to apron with liquid glue. Adhere apron to card front with dimensionals.

6. Punch small flowers from scraps of Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral cardstock using Itty Bitty blooms punch; adhere small pearls to centers and adhere to pocket top with glue dots. 

Your card is complete---now complete someone's day by sending this card with your warm wishes.

Simple Easter Card with Fable Friends

Today we're going to create a lovely Simple Easter Card with Stampin'Up! Fable Friends. This little cutie is great for everyone--who doesn't love a cute bunny? 4-9-19 Fable Friends Easter card

We're building on the base we created last Tuesday with the triple oval layer is quick and easy alternating the colors. Again, the stamping in the background gives the illusion of designer paper with just simple ink and cardstock. The small splashes of color are the Gala adhesive-backed sequins--no extra adhesive required!

Directions:

1. Cut Highland Heather cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score the long side at 5 1/2 (card base)

2. Cut Highland Heather 4 1/8 X 5 3/8, stamp vine (Hold on to Hope stamp set (#145780) in Gorgeous Grape ink in a circle; adhere to card base with liquid glue.

3. Cut 3 ovals (largest plain and smallest scalloped ovals) from Whisper White cardstock); cut middle scalloped oval from Gorgeous Grape cardstock. Use liquid glue to glue the ovals together and then onto the card front center.

4. Stamp the bunny (Fable Friends stamp set) in Memento ink on white oval; using Light Petal Pink, Light Highlad Heather Blends and Wink of Stella, color the bunny; add adhesive backed sequins to background around bunny.

5. Stamp Happy Easter (You're Inspiring stamp set) in Memento ink on Gorgeous Grape cardstock; punch with Classic Label punch. Use dimensionals to adhere over bunny.

6. Punch bitty flower (Bitty Bloom Punch Pack) from a scrap of Grape cardstock; use glue dot to adhere to bunny's hand; adhere small rhinestone to flower center.

Your card is completed and ready for sending! Make someone's Easter a Happy one when they receive your beautiful thoughtful card.

Today we're going to create a lovely Simple Easter Card with Stampin'Up! Crosses of Hope. I realized that Easter is only two weeks away and I need to get my Easter cards created and mailed out very soon so I needed one that looks lovely but doesn't require a lot of work...so what do you think? 4-9-19 Hold on to Hope EAster card

The triple oval layer is quick and easy alternating the colors add a tremendous amount of interest with very little effort. I used the simplistic cross because of the speed of the die cutting and little in the way of intricate cuts. The stamping in the background gives the illusion of designer paper with just simple ink and cardstock.

1. Cut Gorgeous Grape cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score the long side at 5 1/2 (card base)

2. Cut Goreous Grape 4 1/8 X 5 3/8, stamp vine (Hold on to Hope stamp set) in Gorgeous Grape ink in a circle; adhere to card base with liquid glue.

3. Cut 3 ovals (largest plain and smallest scalloped ovals) from Whisper White cardstock); cut middle scalloped oval from Gorgeous Grape cardstock. Use liquid glue to glue the ovals together and then onto the card front center.

4. Die cut plain cross (Crosses of Hope dies) from Highland Heather cardstock; use dimensionals to adhere to center of white oval.

5. Stamp Happy Easter (You're Inspiring stamp set) in Gorgeous Grape ink on Whisper White cardstock; punch with Classic Label punch. Use dimensionals to adhere over cross.

6. Punch bitty flower (Bitty Bloom Punch Pack) from a scrap of White cardstock; use glue dot to adhere to cross center; adhere small rhinestone to flower center.

Your card is completed and ready for sending! Make someone's Easter a Happy one when they receive your beautiful thoughtful card.
