Free Stampin'Up! Butterfly Elements
January 15, 2019
Today we're creating a super fast note card with the Free Stampin'Up! Butterfly Elements. These little cuties make great fast focal points or use them as additional access points along with other stamping.
Here's today's card:
That was the uncolored version and here's what a bit of color added does to the card:
I also used some of the Botanical Butterfly Sale-a-bration Designer Paper (also FREE) in the background as one of the layers.
These two Sale-a-bration Freebies are not for sale--you get each of them FREE when you purchase $50 in Stampin'Up! products...in fact there are lots of other FREEBIES you can select from also---just click on the Catalogs button and open the Sale-a-bration mini catalog to see all the selections
Using the pre-made Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes means no prep work for the card base---these come in packs of 20 and are ready for stamping plus the paper envelopes are in the package!
I'll give you the quick directions followed by the Supply list-- hit the Shop Now button at the side or click on one of the product images and you'll be in my store.
If you use this month's Host code (UDWJNNDR) you'll receive $5 in Stampin'Up! products for each $50 in product that you purchase!
Notecard directions:
1. Cut 3 X 4 1/2 Basic Black cardstock and adhere with liquid glue (#110755) to the notecard base (Whisper White Notecards with Envelopes).
2. Cut 2 7/8 X 4 3/8 designer paper (I used the Botanical Butterfly DSP) and adhere to the black layer. Stamp Just a Note (Butterfly Gala stamp set) in Stazon Jet Black ink in the lower right corner.
3. If you want to color the woodend butterflies, I used the Dark Poppy Parade Blend marker (small buttterfly) and the Dark Calypso Coral Blend marker (large butterfly). There are alcohol markers and the ink dries instantly.
4. Adhere the butterflies to the card front with glue dots.
Your notecard is ready for sending!
