Over the holidays I'm sure someone did something nice for you---Did You Say "Thank You?"

Here's the easiest way to do that...it doesn't take much time and the design is worked out for you...so why not whip out a few of these and say "thanks" for all those nice things that someone did for you over the holidays!

New Occasions Mini and Sale-a-bration Mini news:  I phoned Stampin'Up! on Christmas Eve and they assured me that the minis were mailed bulk mail on 12/10 as they promised. They think the delay is because of the holiday volume....if you have not received your mini's by 12/31---let me know and SU will re-send them.  However, if you are attending the debuts (Jan 4-6) you will be able to pick one up then if you haven't received them by that date. Sorry for the delay.

Card directions:

1. Cut Thick Whisper White cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2; score the long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut Cherry Cobbler cardstock 5 X 3 3/4; adhere to card base with liquid glue

3. Cut designer paper (Dashing Along) 4 7/8 X 3 5/8; adhere to cherry layer with liquid glue.

4. Cut "Thank You"1.  from Cherry Cobbler cardstock with Thank you Thinlet die; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

You are ready to send...it doesn't get any simpler than that and someone will know that you really appreciated what they did for you!

Today you'll get the instructions for Super Quick Gift Wrap with Stampin'Up! Gable Boxes.

If you've been to one of my events in the last couple of weeks you may have won a door prize of chocolate--yes, that's awesome in itself....BUT, the chocolates were presented in this super cute gift wrap....

I used the Stampin'Up! Lustrous White Gable Boxes--- a package of 12 boxes is $8.00!  These boxes require no adhesive, just fold on the score lines and fold the bottom together...you are done.

Here are the measurements for the designer paper on the lower box:  two pieces of 3 7/8 X 1 7/8 & two pieces of 1 7/8 X 1 7/8---use liquid glue to adhere to bottom sides of the box.

Then:
*Cut approximately 18" Poppy Parade ribbon - tie around the box handles at the top (fill the box first with your gift).
*Stamp a candy cane (Candy Cane Season stamp set) in Real Red ink on Whisper White cardstock, punch with Candy Cane punch. Punch a 1/8" hole in the top and loop through 12" Garden Green twine, tie in a bow

*Punch a bow (Candy Cane punch) in a scrap of Tranquil Tide Glimmer Paper and adhere to candy cane with a dimensional

AWESOME! Your chocolates or other small gift is now looking like a million dollar gift...presentation is always the most important part of a gift...which would you prefer
*receiving a handful of chocolate  dumped into a grocery bag
OR
*receiving a handful of chocolate in this awesomely cute box?

You can quickly adapt this to any occasion by changing the designer series paper you choose to cover the bottom of the box--birthday, anniversary, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Just Thinking of You Day...etc.

Note: the Santa's Workshop Designer Series Paper is no longer available--there are several alternative papers to choose from in the supply list below.
