Another Awesome Introduction!

Today I want to make you Another Awesome Introduction of Tea Room Designer Series Paper meeting Bee Thankful stamp set. Remember on Tuesday Tranquil Textures met Rooted in Nature (it's here if you missed it http://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2018/06/rooted-in-nature-meets-tranquil-textures.html), well there's another meeting you need to see! 6-29-19 Bee Thankful

I used a subtle So Saffron design (Tea Room DSP) and I stamped Thanks (Bee Thankful) and used my markers to color it in...what a FAST and delightful "Thank you" card that took less that 5 minutes (it only took that long because I had to hunt for my Coastal Cabana marker)!

When you need a quick but amazing card--check out your Stampin'Up! Designer Series Papers---pick a pattern that is fairly subtle and find a bold and/or solid image and stamp with a slightly darker ink...the results are fantastic and with minimal effort.

I'm going to give you the specific directions followed by the Supply List. Order what you need by hitting the Shop Now button or by clicking on one of the product images below. And if you use this month's Host code (BBBRN4DK) when you check out, I'll give you $5 in Stampin'Up! product (I choose) for each $50 in product that you purchase.

Note: if you miss the box for the Host Code, hit your Shopping Cart (top right), then scroll down to the left bottom and the box is there)

Directions:

1. Cut So Saffron cardstock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score long side at 4 1/4 (card base); cut Coastal Cabana cardstock 5 1/4 X 4, adhere to cardbase with liquid glue.

2. Cut So Saffron with crossed teaspoons 3 7/8 X 5 1/8 (from Tea Room Designer Series Paper), stamp 'thanks' (Bee Thankful stamp set) in Stazon Jet Black ink. Using Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, and Granny Apple Green Stampin'Write markers, color in the image. Adhere to card front with liquid glue.

Your card is ready for sending! While you are creating, make several to keep on hand--they will be quick an easy to assemble when you need them.

Tuesday I showed you the Fastest Birthday Card Ever, but this is Friday and we have been really busy and we are getting tired but we still have one more birthday card to whip out before the weekend fun begins....so today I"m going to show you the Faster than Fastest Birthday Card Ever!

If you missed Tuesday's post you can see it here  http://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2018/06/fastest-birthday-card-ever.html

Today we're still using the same Delightfully Detailed Memories & More Card Pack and the Whisper White Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (small size today). 148040G
148040G
Here's the card I selected because I didn't need to get out any stamps--the greeting is included: Small celebrate today cardAnd, here's the Faster than Fastest Birtthday Card Ever: Small celebrate today decorated

I cut a 3 1/8 X 4 1 /8 Calypso Coral cardstock layer---glued it to the back of the card with liquid glue.; adhere this unit to the small Whisper White Memories & More Card. Added 3 Glitter Enamel dots and--called it Done! (Don't forget the envelopes are included)

It really does carry lots of pizzazz and it did only take me less that 2 minutes from beginning to the end! There are tons of cards to select from--some will need some stamping--others not...just grab this pack of M&M cards and start creating your own Faster than Fastest Birthday Card ever!

Fastest Birthday Card Ever!

Today I'm going to share with you the Fastest Birthday Card Ever! Those Memories and More cards come in super handy when you need to get a card done super quick and still have it look awesome..the card set I used for today's card is the Delightfully Detailed set.... 147038G

There are 50 total double sided designs and some laser cuts.  The sizes are 4 X 6 and 3 X 4. Now here's the super part---you don't even have to cut card bases because now Stampin'Up! has Large and Small Memories & More Whisper White cards & Envelopes that these M&M cards fit on exactly with no extra cutting on the card. And you don't have to worry about envelopes--they are included.  You may remember that when we used the large cards previously we had to cut them down to the 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 size to fit nicely on the regular sized card base---no more--just grab the M&M card base and you are ready to go!

148040GOK, here's the M&M card that I started with: Large hbd cardNow this would have been just fine for a quick and simple card--just adhere it to the card base and you are done!

But just add a bit more bling and a red layer base and you get the stepped up version: Large hbd decorated

I cut a Real Red cardstock layer 4 1/8 X 6 1/8, adhered that to the back of the M&M card--then adhered that to the M&M Large card with liquid glue. Then punched 2 Four Petal Flowers (new punch) and layered them with dimensionals and adhered to the card with another dimensional--there's a clear faceted gem as the flower center. Added 3 of the new Candle embellishments to the lower card front--they already have adhesive on the back! And there you have a really awesome card that only took less that a couple of minutes to assemble! Not bad, right?

Also, you can just use the Whisper White Memories & More Cards and Envelopes for your own card designing! Great base to just be able to start stamping!

Here's the supply list--click on the Shop Now button on this page or on one of the images below and you'll be in my store. Order your supplies now and if you use this month's host code (BBBRN4DK) you'll receive from me $5 in Stampin'Up! product for each $50 in product that you purchase. So order now!

Here's a very simple 3 X 3 Thank you Note...but being simple doesn't mean being without lots of pizzazz 6-15-18 Tropical Chic notecard

This note uses a wonderful thinlet that cuts out the center and leave an opening with a network of leaves under which you can place a contrasting color--this makes a wonderfully interesting center piece or a background as we used here for our "thank you" greeting. AWESOME Glimmery News!!!

Today I'm going to share some truly AWESOME Glimmery News!!!

As you know I love, love, love Glimmer Paper and that sometimes when we use thinlets we are challenged with getting a good cut! And, we've all been waiting to get our hands on the 4 new Glimmer Papers so we could see if they work well with thinlets.

Well, the AWESOME NEWS is that the New GLIMMER PAPER is AWESOME!!!  The backing is thinner and the cut is truly AWESOME...I"m going to show you pictures and also  give you a good hint about "over" cutting...so check this out....

First, here's the new set of thinlets (Springtime Impressions) that I'm using today--the butterfly which as you can see has a lot of intricate design work going on: Thinlry

Here we are ready to cut (Magnetic platform, Precision Base Plate, Glimmer paper (face up), Die (face down), standard cutting pad)

Ready to cut

Now, roll it through the Big Shot JUST ONE TIME.  Did you know that sometimes the more you roll it through the Big Shot the harder it is to get out of the dies--sometimes tearing when you try to dig it out? So always run it through the least amount of times you can to avoid this catastrophe.  Do you know how to tell if you have run it through enough? Turn the die over and look at the back--if you see good cuts through the backing like this (below) then you do not need to run it through again--in fact, you shouldn't run it through again so you won't empact they paper into the die.  This is what a good cut looks like: Backsided

Now leave the paper in the die and use your Die Brush on the die-side:

Die brush

Remove the paper from the die and you are ready to use in your project...

Done

Here's a finished card using this same die---awesome, right?

  Holding abstract impressions butterfly

So remember:

*Only run the die through the Big Shot one time
*Check the back for a good cut
*Leave the paper in the thinlet/die to use the Die Bruch
*Use the Die Brush on the "die" side --not on the paper side

I could hardly wait to give you the good news! I almost posted a couple of days early to get this great news to you! So go to my store (hit the Shop Now button) or click on one of the product images below to order some of that new re-designed Glimmer paper and other supplies that you need.

It's All New!

Today we're going to play with something---It's All New! We've been waiting so long to get our hands on some of the new stuff out of the big new Stampin'Up! catalog. (If you haven't received your new catalog, contact me right away 410 836 8016 or [email protected] and I'll get yours in the mail to you!)

So here it is.... Note card

I'm using some pre-colored Delightfully Detailed Note Cards & Envelopes--that makes the stamping go really quickly. The focal point is from the Varied Vases Bundle--a cute little stamp set and its coordinating punch--yes, I said punch---it's really awesome and you can do tons of variations with it and the stamp set.

I'm going to give you the directions followed by a list of supplies...remember...

You can begin placing orders from the new big Stampin'Up! catalog about 2PM Eastern time today (6/1/18)
If you place your order online and use this month's Host code (BBBRN4DK), you will receive $5 in product for each $50 in product that you order online using this host code--that's an extra 10% value for you!

Here's the directions:

1. Stamp the " scalloped table top" in Stazon Jet Black ink on the Bermuda Bay watercolored Delightfully Detailed Note Cards & Envelopes.

2. Punch a vase from Bermuda Bay cardstock using the Vases Builder punch. "Sit" this on the table top and with a pencil mark the top of the vase.

3. Using the stem (Varied Vases stamp set) stamp 2 stems in Stazon Black ink (#101406) that end in the vase "line" you drew --I recommend laying a piece of copy paper right below the line so that you don't have to worry about the stems extending outside the vase.

4. Add the punched vase to the table top using mini dimensionals--position so the stems are sticking out the vase top.

5. Punch two tulips from Lovely Lipstick cardstock and using mini dimensionals add these to the stamped stems.

6. Stamp Hello (Varied Vases stamp set) in Stazon Black ink --see card for placement.

Your notecard is ready for sending!

Here is a list of the products we used---hit the Shop Now button (after 2PM today 6/1/18) to order your supplies:
