Remember Sale-a-bration only lasts until 3/31---which is right around the corner. For each $50 in product that you purchase you can select a free item from the SAB brochures--click on these links to download  Download 20180216_SAB18-2_en-US and  Download 03.15.18_FLYER_3RD_RELEASE_SAB_US

Here we go:

1. Cut 4 "box" pieces using the box die (Lots to Love dies) from Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper (note: use the Magnetic Platform but do NOT use the Precision Base plate. Any time you have score lines in a framelit dies, do not use the Precision plate--it will cause the score lines to be cut, not scored)

2. Cut off from each piece--
*one side flap (be sure to cut the same side from each piece)--see small black arrow at the bottom
*the small flap near the box top on the side that you did not cut off the side flap--see small black arrow at the top

Parts3. Score across each piece at 1 3/4 from the bottom (where the 2 black arrows are pointing). Fold on the score line and on 3 of the flaps, place Tear & Tape near the bottom edge (not near the fold line) on the "wrong" side.

4. Place Tear and Tape on the side flaps (see where the big black arrow is pointing. Remove the topping and adhere to the side of the next piece (where you already cut off the side flap). After you connect all 4--your box will be assembled except for the bottom.

5. Cut up on each box corner from the bottom to the cross score mark (1 3/4" score line)..this will be the bottom flap. Fold in the bottom flap that does NOT have Tear and Tape on it. The remove the tape topping from the opposite bottom flap and adhere to the first folded flap. Remove the tape topping from another flap and fold onto the folded flaps; repeat with the 4th flap. Your box bottom is completed. Bottom

6. Cut a 1 X 12" piece of designer paper, using liquid glue on the "good" side about 1 1/2" from each end---adhere this handle to the inside of the box---leaving the handle as long as you want. Fold down the curved flaps and,  if desired secure to basket side with dimensionals (Item # 140430).

Stuff with goodies and you are ready for Easter gift-giving!

Another Gorgeous Simple Easter Card

Today we're going to explore Another Gorgeous Simple Easter Card3-16-18 Easter card
We are using many of the same products we used for the "glueless" card on Tuesday---if you missed it check it out here http://www.sandilovesstamping.com/2018/03/the-secret-to-gluing-without-glue-for-an-easter-card.html

This card was created with Elegant Eggplant (cardstock & ink) which does not show up well in the photo--you can use any color you like for that layer and the ink.  We are still going glueless on the cross assembly by using the adhesive sheets. We  are using liquid glue between the card layers today (no foil and no glimmer there so liquid glue works fine...unless you are a whiner about sticky fingers--you can still use glue dots if you want!)

Following the card directions I'll give you the supply list to purchase the supplies you need through my store by clicking on the Shop Now button or on one of the product images below. Remember

*Sale-a-bration ends 3/31/18--so you need to place your orders (for each $50 you purchase you select a free SAB item from the SAB mini which you can download here (3rd release)  Download 03.15.18_FLYER_3RD_RELEASE_SAB_US

*If you use this months Host code when you shop online (ZA6YXWHN) you will also receive $5 in Stampin'Up! product from me!

 Card directions:

1. Cut Shimmery White cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score long side at 5 1/2 (card base)

2. Cut Elegant Eggplant cardstock 5 X 3 3/4; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut Shimmery White cardstock 4 7/8 X 3 5/8; adhere to eggplant layer with glue  stamp background (Graceful Garden) in Elegant Eggplant ink. Stamp Happy Easter (You're Inspiring) in Elegant Eggplant ink at the bottom center.

The Secret to Gluing Without Glue for an Easter Card

Today I'll share The Secret to Gluing Without Glue for an Easter Card! During classes I often hear some whining about glue on your fingers....really, it's just glue & it comes off, but today I'm going to share the secret to keep  the glue off your fingers!

First, look at this awesome Easter card using that absolutely gorgeous (FREE) Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper as the background. 3-13-18 Eastesr card

Here's a close up of the foil paper to see foil inlays and the silver glimmer paper. 3-13-18 Easter card - close up

I'm using the silver foil leaf with small accents of gold foil. Now look at the spectacular cross created in silver glimmer paper....very simple,  very elegant and very quick.....AND, there was NO GLUE used on this card....so you say, I'm sure Sandi used glue dots for the background layering--the foils are slick and that's typical to use glue dots. But if she used glue dots on the intricate cut-outs on the cross the glue dots will show through & be sticky.

Here's the secret---I used adhesive sheets when I cut out the cross (I'll give you the directions to re-create this card below)--this makes the entire back of the cross sticky & I just adhered it to the plain white cross (cut out with a die)---the entire cross remains "stuck" to the background cross with no buckling.

Following the card directions I'll give you the supply list to purchase the supplies you need through my store by clicking on the Shop Now button or on one of the product images below. Remember
