Gorgeous Stampin'Up! Designer Paper

 Today we're using a Gorgeous Stampin'Up! Designer Paper---well, what we're really going to do is "Design" some Designer Paper with Stampin'Up! products---check out this awesome Thank You card: 2-27-18 Eclectic Expressions - thank you

Look at that background paper---we are creating that with a FREE stamp set called Eclectic Expressions. Now I have to admit--when I first saw this stamp set it did not overwhelm me at first glance....then I started playing with it and find it creeping up on my fav list!  I really do like what I can do with it--and there are several pieces that really provide limitless possibilities with alternating images and inks....tune in on Friday and see what else I did with this set. Plus it has 2 universal verses which make it a must have set!

Here' how to create this card:

1.  Cut Lemon Lime Twist cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score the long side at 5 1/2 (card base)

2. Cut Shimmery White cardstock 3 5/8 X 4 7/8; using the largest image (Eclectic Expressions) stamp randomly over this piece with Bermuda Bay ink. Then fill in with the same image using Lemon Lime Twist ink.

3. Stamp "Thank You' (Eclectic Expressions) down the front of this piece in Basic Black Archival ink (see sample).

4. Cut Basic Black cardstock 3 3/4 X 5. Adhere under the Shimmery White piece with liquid glue.

5. Cut 16" piece of 1/8" Bermuda ribbon (Simmery Ribbon Pack - another Sale-a-bration freebie); tie around the above unit in a bow.

6. Adhere this to the card front with liquid glue. Adhere 3 rhinestones in a rough triangle.

Your card is ready for sending!

Quick & Classy Guy Card

Today we're going to create a Quick & Classy Guy card. It's so easy and quick to create you'll want to keep several on hand for those "guy" occasions that can be so hard to design. And...what guy doesn't want to be called Classy? 2-23-18 Classy

The "quick" part is using the new Tailored Tag punch to create that cool background from the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper...imagine the variety of backgrounds you can create with 12 sheets of designer paper.

The stamp comes from the Truly Tailored stamp set that also contains "Lookin' SHARP" and "You're a Fox"...this is a real find for guy cards!

I'll explain how to create this card and the supplies are listed below the instructitons...you can hit the Shop Now button or click on any one of the images and be in my store. Remember

Here are the simple directions:

1. Cut Night of Navy cardstock 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 (card base)

2. Punch 3 shapes from your favorite True Gentleman DSP with the Tailored Tag punch---adhere these in a row through the center of the card front with liquid glue

3. Punch 2 shapes from each of 2 more designs of the DSP; adhere one of each above and below the first line of punches on the card front (see picture)

4. Stamp "To a Classy Kind of Guy" on Very Vanilla cardstock (rub with Embossing Buddy)  in Versamark ink; sprinkle with copper embossing powder and heat with the Heat Tool until shiny and bright. Using your Paper Snips (103579) cut on the solid outline of the stamped image. Adhere to center shape with dimensionals.

Your card is ready for sending...but while you are punching....punch enough shapes for a few more cards to add to your stash.

Here are the directions:

1. Cut this Whisper White cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score the long side at 5 1/2 (card base); using the new Basket Weave folder, dry emboss the front of the card base. (this is really an awesome design).

2. Cut Whisper White cardstock 3 1/2 x 3 1/2; stamp the basket of flower (Blossoming Basket stamp set) in Mememto Tuxedo Black ink(#132708); Color images with Stampin' Blends (alchohol markers) using Calypso, Olive and Crumb Cake.

3. Stamp the "heart tag" on Whisper White cardstock in Memento ink, color hearts with Calypso Blend, hand cut tag and adhere to basket handle with a mini dimensional (#144108); adhere 3 rhinestones around the basket handle. 

4. Cut Pool Party cardstock 3 5/8 X 3 5/8; adhere to back of above stamped image with liquid glue; adhere this unit to upper card front. with dimensionals

5. Cut Whisper White cardstock 2 1/2 X 3/4; stamp "Here for you" in Versamark ink  (#102283), sprinkle with Gold embossing powder, heat with Heat Tool until bright shiny gold.

6. Cut Gold Glimmer paper 2 1/4 X 7/8; adhere to back of greeting with glue dots; adhere this unit to card front with dimensionals

 Your beautiful card is ready for sending!

Stampin'Up!'s Most Gorgeous New Designer Series Paper

 Ooooh, my goodness, the new Sale-a-bration Free items inclue Stampin'Up!'s Most Gorgeous New Designer Series Paper!  It is very difficult for me to photograph the foil embedded in the paper...but you'll  see the outlines the flowers/leaves are all copper foil. Close up

It's so wonderful all by itself I had a hard time doing anything but adhering it to the card front....then I thought about the new Stampin' Blends...the new alcohol markers and what a great surface this designer paper would be for coloring...check out this card: Colored

Here are the directions:

1. Cut 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 thick Whisper White cardstock, score the long side at 4 1/4 (card base)

2. Cut 4 1/2 X 3 1/4 Copper Foil

3. Cut 4 3/8 X 3 1/8 Springtime Foil Specialty Designer Series Paper; adhere to Copper Foil with glue dots.

4. Cut 18" Copper Trim around this unit; adhere this unit to card front using glue dots

5. Stamp "happy birthday" (Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set) in Versamrak on Whisper White cardstock, sprinkle with Copper Embossing powder; heat with Heat Tool until shiny bright.  Punch out with Classic Label Punch. Adhere over copper trim with dimensionals (#104430)

Valentines Gift Card Holder--DIY Quick & Easy

 Let me show you how to create a beautiful Valentine's Gift Card Holder --- DIY Quick  Easy! Bag

The bag measures 4 3/4 X 7 which means those gift card backings will fit right in there. Now I bet you haven't seen that gorgeous embossing on the gold foil striped treat bags...am I right? Quilt top close up
Well, you can do that design (Quilt Top) or any other design you like just by slipping that bag inside one of the Big Shot dry embossing folders sand running it through the Big Shot. Bag in folder
What a gorgeous imprint on that white and gold foil.

Then add a white doily, punch out (Starburst punch) a starburst in Gold Foil, add a Sweet & Sassy heart in Red Glimmer....it's done!

It doesn't get any faster and it doesn't get any prettier! You can even slip in your Valentine with the gift card or candy and you are ready to wow your sweetheart!

Super Quick Valentine's Gift Box

I just finished a Super Quick Valentine's Gift Box that coordinates really well with that Valentine we created on Tuesday (scroll down to see it). Look at this! Box Box side

I used the Mini Pizza Boxes (yes, they are still available on the Carry Over list from the Holiday mini). I used the same Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper for the box that I used for the Valentine card. There are so many great designs in that pack and they all blend and coordinate with each other. I actually used the "back" side on one of the designs for this box...this is the side without the gold foil embedded.

I'll give you the directions below--keep these because the dimensions can be used with any Designer Series Papers for any occasion.

Following the directions is the supply list--click on any of the item pictures or the Shop Now button and you'll be in my store.  Remember to use this month's Host (PUKPWHXA) when you check out and you'll receive $5 in Stampin'Up! product for each $50 in product that you purchase. Here are the directions:

1. Fold the mini Pizza Box together--it doesn't require any adhesive.

2. Cut your favorite Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper 3 1/4 X 3 1/4; adhere to top of pizza box with liquid glue (#110755).

3. Cut 4 pieces of matching designer paper 7/8 x 3 1/4; adhere these to the sides of the box with liquid glue.

4. Cut a heart from a coordinating paper with the large heart in the Sure Do Love You thinlets; cut a small heart from gold glimmer paper with one of the small heart dies in the set.  Layer these to the top center of the box with liquid glue. (Note: now is the time to fill your box with chocolates, jewelry, or other treats)

5. Cut 22" pink tinsel trim and tie around box with the bow centering the hearts.

Your box is ready for giving!

Fastest Valentine in Cupid's Sack!

Let me show you the Fastest Valentine in Cupid's Sack...and the best part is that it's great for guys, gals kids, co-workers---you name it!

It's so simple and there's a neat trick too...see that red heart----it's just the red showing through from the second layer...that's right..I used the heart framelet to cut out the heart from the top layer and gives you that great red to over lay the verse....this is really quick! Cutting heart

1. Cut Whisper White Thick cardstock 4 1/4 X 11 score the long side at 5 1/2 (card base)

2. Cut Real Red cardstock 5 1/4 X 4; adhere to card front with liquid glue.

3. Cut Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper 3 7/8 X 5 1/8 (see card for the one I used). Using the heart die (Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies), cut the heart from the center of the designer paper (you can use this for decorating the inside of your card). Adhere the designer paper to card front over the red layer with liquid glue.

4. Rub your embossing buddy over Whisper White cardstock. Stamp "Sure Do Love You" in Versamark ink on the cardstock, sprinkle with Gold Embossing powder, heat with Heat Tool until shiny  bright.; cut out this banner using the matching framelit in the Lots to Love framelit set; adhere over heart with Stampin' Dimensionals.

You are done! Ready to send to your favorite Sweetheart!

Fast and Beautiful!

Let me show you a card that is Fast and Beautiful! 2-2-18 Petal Passion card - brayer

The only stamping is the verse! Yes, we are using another design from the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper...no paper snipping & no traditional "coloring"....just a bit of brayering!  I pulled out the sponge brayer & my Calypso Coral + Daffodill Delight stamp pads & presto--gorgeous color with minimal work! Look at all the other wonderful designs in this pack of designer paper...the options are endless...even if brayering is too much coloring for you--just go with these beautiful black/white images & have fantastic cards.

These are the card directions:

1. Cut Calypso Coral cardstock 4 1/4 x 11, score long side at 5 1/2 (card base). Dry emboss card front with Garden Trellis embossing folder.

2. Cut Basic Black cardstock at 3 1/8  X 4 1/8; adhere to center of card front using  glue.

3. Cut Petal Passion designer series paper (see card for design I used) 3 X 4...note, by cutting this size you get 12 card fronts from a single sheet of designer paper. Lay this on scrap paper & ink up one Sponge Brayer with Calypso Coral ink. Inking brayer

4. Ink up the other Sponge brayer (2 per pack) with Daffodil Delight ink & brayer the remaining white space.  Add 3 rhinestones to the 3 most central flower centers

5. On scrap So Saffron cardstock stamp With Sympathy (Teeny Tiny Wishes--includes 24 verses that fit this space) in Archival Basic Black ink. Cut out with the Classic Label punch. Cut another label with the Classic Label punch from Gold Glimmer paper.  Cut this label in half lengthwise...separating the 2 halves, glue dot them to the back of the So Saffron label. Using mini dimensionals adhere this unit to the lower left of the cardfront. Petal passion brayer - side
