So I'm sure you are busy and this card is pretty quick...so you can jot a quick note--and the people who gave you that thoughtful gift will know you appreciate their efforts.

Here we go:

1. Cut 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 Pool Party cardstock, score the long side at 4 1/4 (card base)

2. Cut 5 1/2 X 2 1/8 Whisper White cardstock, adhere to upper front of card base with multipurpose liquid glue.

3. Cut 2 X 5 1/2 Bermuda Bay cardstock; dry emboss with4.  the Quilt Top embossing folder; adhere over white cardstock with liquid glue

4. Using the snowflake die from Trim Your Stocking framelits, cut 3 snowflakes from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper; adhere to Bermuda layer with glue dots; Adhere large rhinestones to center of each snowflake.

5. Stamp 'you are too kind...thank you' (One Big Meaning stamp set) in Archival Black ink below the row of snowflakes.

Your card is completed--this one is so easy that you can make multiples in no time.

Easy Quick Treat or Gift Card Holder

Ever find yourself in need of an Easy Quick Treat or Gift Card Holder...well I have the quickest easiest holder for you that requires very few materials and looks like a million bucks! Cup

I filled mine with treats* but you can easily slip in a gift card ---say Starbucks! You can whip up a few of these and have them in your stash ready to add treats or gift cards at a moments notice. Best thing (besides it being super easy and looks fabulous) is that you can use any of your designer papers so this works for any occasion.

*If you need a great small treat bag--grab a clear translucent envelops, snip off the flap and fill with treats--I use the new Copper Trim (2 twelve inch pieces) to the top closed

Below are the simple directions and you can use the Supply List to order what you need to create these. Directions:

1. Cut copper/white cardstock (Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper) 8 1/4 X 7 1/2; score long side at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8  (these are the 1" score lines we'll refer to later). Score the short side at 2 from each edge. Fold on all score marks

2. Fold the 1/2" edge (the short piece left over when you scored the long side)--cut out the top and bottom small rectangles.

3. Fold one edge to the inside (to the wrong side of the paper) on the 2" score line.  On the opposite side, cut up to the crossing score line on each of the 1" score lines

4. Place Tear & Tape on the  'wrong" side opposite the 1/2" edge and on the "wrong" side of 4 consecutive flaps on the bottom--remove the covering.

5. Forming a tube, slip the 1/2" edge between the 2 sides forming the tube (side opposite the 1/2" strip) and press  sides together completing the tube (make sure you form the circular shape.  Bottom of cup

6. From the bottom adhere 2 opposite flaps (one without tape folds in first and the opposite flap with tape adheres to the first one) Again, make sure you don't pull the design out of "round". Continue with the remaining 3 pairs of flaps.

7. Cut 3/4 X 6 strip from designer paper; run a bone folder along the wrong side to help curl. Place a piece of Tear and Tape on one short edge on the 'right' side. With the strip pointing up above the cup rim (right sides of the designer paper facing) adhere the top of the handle. Curve the handle down and place a piece of Tear and Tape on the 'wrong side' of the paper and adhere near the bottom of the cup.

8. If you'd like to add a finishing touch--punch a 2 1/4" circle from Whisper White cardstock and adhere with liquid glue to the bottom of the cup.

There you are! Completed...now order your supplies and create your stash!

Teeny Tiny Treat Holder

Isn't this adorable--a Teeny Tiny Treat Holder. It's great for just a couple of Hershey Kisses or that darling pair of earrings...whatever "treat" you want to give that is small. This little box takes only a few minutes and you can whip out several for teachers, co-workers, stocking stuffers...and on and on. Tiny triangle treat boxes

I'll give you the directions--but basically you need your Stampin'Up! Trimmer and your Envelope Punch Board...they are quick and easy.

Here are the simple directions:

1. Cut designer series paper 4 1/4 X 2 7/8; score the long side at 2 and 4"; score the short side at 1/2 & 2 3/8". (You'll have 2 tiny squares at the corners (see template) cut these out.

2. From the bottom side score at 1 and 3" only up to the intersecting score line.  Template

3. Cut on all the score marks (shown in solid black marker on the template); using your Trimmer, score as shown on the dotted lines on the template.

4. Place Tear & Tape on the good side of the 1/2" piece (far right end of template), fold paper in half with the 1/2" piece tucked in so that it adheres to the under side of the opposite end.

5. With the paper still folded in half--use the corner rounder of the Envelope Punch Board and round the two top corners; open up the bottom end (4 flap end) and adhere Tear & Tape to the wrong side of 2 opposite flaps. Fold in the untaped opposite flaps, then fold in the taped flaps and seal. Cut a 1" square of the designer paper and adhere over the bottom with multipurpose liquid glue.

The top now pinches open to insert your gift. Now you can decorate your tiny box with ribbon, bows, holly....

How to Make a Quick Sweet Treat!

Need something quick, small, cute---today I'll show you How to Make a Quick Sweet Treat!

Isn't he adorable! This is a great little treat for office workers, small groups, kids, and adults.

Here's how to whip up this cutie:

1. Cut thick Whisper White cardstock 2 1/8 X 11. Use the Envelope Punch board to punch out the divit 2 1/8" from each end on both sides; score on the long side at 5 1/8 and 5 7/8. (Body base) Punch board

2. On back side, glue 2 twigs (arms) with liquid glue & attach a chocolate treat with a glue dot

3. Cut Basic Black cardstock (2 pieces) 1/2 X 2 1/2 (hat brim). Cut black cardstock 2 X 2 & use the Envelope Punch board to round the top corners & punch a divit at the 1" mark (the center) (hat base). Cut Real Red cardstock 1 X 2" (cut 2) & adhere to the bottom front/back of hat base using multipurpose liquid glue. Sandwich  hat between folded body base (about 1/4" up from the bottom of the hat base) with liquid glue. Adhere  hat brim (front/back with dime1nsionals).

4. Punch large & small holly leaf (Holly Builder punch) from Garden Green cardstock & the berries from Red Glimmer paper---adhere to hat band with glue dots.

5. Punch 2 eyes from black cardstock using Cookie Cutter builder punch (itme # 140396). Adhere to face with glue dots. Cut small triangle from Pumpkin Pie cardstock for nose (adhere with glue dot)6. Using 1 3/8" circle punch, punch mouth--punch once (toss that piece and keep the scrap) slip one side of the punch up & punch again. Adhere to face with liquid glue.

6. Punch bow from red glimmer with Holly builder punch--adhere at throat with glue dot. Punch 3 buttons with 1/2" circle punch from Silver glimmer paper--adhere with glue dot.

7. Stamp snowflake (Smitten Mitten stamp set) in Marina Mist ink & punch with 1" circle punch (Make 2); cut 4" piece  1/8" silver ribbon & adhere one end to the back of the snowflake circle & adhere the other end to the other circle using glue dots. Adhere the 2 circles together with another glue dot --  loop over arm. Adhere a Clear faceted gem to the center of the front snowflakes.

You are done! Isn't that a great treat to send someone?

What Does an Elf Wear on His Head?

What Does an Elf Wear on His Head?  A hat---really you didn't know that??? LOL, OK if you didn't know that I bet you've not seen one either so here's what one looks like: Elf Hat

And, it opens from the top (yes, the top) to hold chocolate! I just thought this was really cool so I decided to share it with you!

I'm going to give you step by step directions so you can order your supplies through my store--just hit the Shop Now button (at the right side) or click on one of the item images below. Here we go:

1. Cut Wild Wasabi cardstock 4 1/4 X 11 (you'll get 2 hats per sheet of cardstock); score the long side at 5 1/2. Mark both short sides at 2 1/8" from the edge of the long side. Score from the 2 1/8" mark to the edge of the 5 1/2 mid-score line. Do this on all 4 sidesScoring

3. Apply Tear and Tape to the inside edge of 2 flaps; remove the tape covering and close these flaps over the other 2 flaps while bending at the mid-score line. Tape

4. Cut Wild Wasabi 1 X 5 1/2; apply 3 dimensionals to the back of this hat brim and adhere to the bottom of the hat base; using Paper Snips cut an angle from about 1/4" to the top edge of the brim.

5. Cut red/green plaid designer paper (Christmas Around the World) 1 X 3 1/2. Glue this to the hat base slipping the bottom edge slightly under the brim using multipurpose liquid glue. Trim the paper close to the sides of the hat.

6. Cut 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 red glimmer paper; using the 7/8" square framelit (Layering Square framelits) cut out the center of the square. This is the hat buckle--adhere this to the hat using dimensionals

7. Stamp Merry Christmas (Teeny Tiny Wishes) in Garden Green ink on Very Vanilla cardstock; punch out using the Classic Label punch (Item # 141491). Adhere to buckle with mini dimensionals.

8. Cut 2 pine sprigs from Garden Green cardstock (Pretty Pine thinlets) and adhere under buckle with glue dots. Cut berry sprig (Pretty Pines thinlets) from gold glimmer paper and adhere over pine sprigs with a glue dot.

9. Now pinch the top open gently and insert your chocolate treats. IMG_7222 (5)andy
