The 12 combos, skin tones, and lifter are going to be sold as a Collection ($121.60). The Collectio and the  card kit ($25) and stamp set ($19) (Color Me Happy Project Kit & stamp set) = $165.50 (+$16.55 shipping, 10.92 tax). Remember if you want to highlight a petal--use your color lifter (it's also good for pushing color back in the line if you go out a bit during the coloring process.

5. Stamp For You (Birthday Bloom stamp set) in Memento ink next to the flower. Tie a small bow in Lemon Lime Twist ombre ribbon and adhere to stem with a glue dot. Adhere small rhinestones to the flower center. Adhere this layer to the cardfront using liquid glue.

Stampin'Up! Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers

I'm so excited about the new Stampin'Up! Stampin' Blends  Alcohol Markers! They are totally fun and super easy. We have 2 shades of each of the 12 color sets! This makes blending so easy...my only caution is to go easy on the dark shade to give yourself plenty of room to blend. And, more good news---you can purchase them as a pair or singly! That means if you use up one of the shades--you don't have to purchase the whole set--just replace the one you need!

Here's my first creation: 10-20-17 Acorms

That was very easy & I could just color with them all day. I use the darker shade first--then blend with the lighter shade. You can do the reverse---whichever feels more comfortable to you is fine! There are no hard fast rules.  If you want to place a highlight (like light shining on an image) just pull off some color with the color lifter --this can also be used if you go outside the lines in coloring--I did go out a bit on the green leaves but was able to "push the color back into the leaf" with the lifter.

You'll be able to order these November 1st--I'm taking orders now & will be placing the first order 11/1...just email me ([email protected]) or call 410 836 8016. I'll order yours! Here's the entire list of products  Download StampinBlends_2017_US (1) 11-1-17

These will make terrific Christmas or birthday gifts for your crafting family and friends! Order early to avoid any supply delays--these are going to be a great hit!

The rest of the supplies for creating this card are below...you can click on Shop Now button or on one of the images below and go directly into my store to place your order.  Remember to use the Host code for October (CRD7YQPG) & you'll receive $5 in product from the Holiday Mini catalog from me for each $50 in product that you purchase.

 Directions:

1. Cut Crumb Cake cardstock 4 1/4 X 11, score on the long side at 5 1/2. (cardbase)

2. Cut acorn print (Painted Autumn) Designer Series Paper 2 X 4 1/4; adhere to card front with multipurpose liquid glue.

3. Using Decorative Ribbon punch, punch a 4 1/4"  ribbon border from Early Espresso cardstock; adhere at top of the DSP with liquid glue

4. Punch Stitched Circle (Stitched Shapes framelits) from Thick Vanilla cardstock; stamp acorn image (Count My Blessings stamp set) in Memento ink (this is important!). Note: lay the cardstock on an absorbent material (e.g. paper towel) so it doesn't bleed through on good cardstock.

6. Tie bow in an 8" piece of Copper Trim & adhere to circle top with a glue dot!

Easy DIY Masks (Background designs)

Do you know how to create Easy Do It Yourself Masks (Background Designs)?

Stampin'Up! offers one set of Masks (Pattern Party Decorative Masks), but those didn't quite fit my design for a Christmas card I had in mind. So I began thinking what I could use and Eclectic Layers thinlets came to mind....I didn't want to cut out the layer...just color it...sooooo, I used the framelit to cut out the design on a window sheet and then brayered the color on for a beautiful background with very little trouble! What do you think? Card

But don't just stop with this design...check out your other framelits and thinlets --see what wonderful background designs you can create with what you have in  your stash!

I'm going to explain each step and give you the supply list (below). Use the Shop Now button at the right side to enter my store. Remember to use this month's Hostess code (CRD7YQPG) when you check out and you'll receive $5 in Stampin'Up! product from the Holiday mini catalog for each $50 you purchase in product.

Remember too that the Designer Series Paper sale is going on until 10/31/17...get all the details here  Download B3G1DSP_Flyer_US.

Inked

5. Using the same Big Shot sandwich as above, cut the double tree image (Cardfront builders thinlets) from Gold Glimmer paper; adhere the trees to the card front with dimensionals.

How simple was that and isn't it gorgeous? That background really adds that elegant touch.

How to Add Light to Your Card

Today I'm going to show you How to Add Light to your Card10-10-17 Maple Leaf Lighted

Carol Streets (one of Standi's Stampers) shared a card she created using a template from YouTube. I was so fascinated with the card I wanted to share it with you! So a Big Thanks to Carol for being willing to let me CASE it!

Here's the secret behind the scene for adding the "light"--yes, it truly is a light back there! 10-10-17 Maple Leaf side

I'll give you directions & the supply list--use the Shop Now button at the right or simply click on one of the items in the supply list & you'll land in my store (thank you for ordering through my store). Remember to use this month's Host Code (CRD7YQPG) & you'll receive $5 in Stampin'Up! products from the Holiday mini catalog for each $50 you purchase in products.

Cut 4 X 3 3/4 Gold Foil and 3 3/4 X 3 1/2 Very Vanilla cardstock.  Center & adhere together with glue dots.

Using the big maple leaf (Leaflets framelits) center & cut out the maple leaf (keep for another card) (Big Shot sandwich: magnetic base, clear cutting pad, cardstock, die, clear cutting pad). Center unit over the card base front - pencil lightly the leaf. Place the leaf framelet over the penciled image & cut out leaf from card front.  DO NOT ADHERE THE Vanilla/Gold Foil unit yet!

Cut Vellum cardstock 3 3/5 X 3 1/2 & place under the Vanilla/gold unit--trace the cut out leaf onto the Vellum; stamp maple leaf (Vintage Leaves stamp set) in Archival Basic Black ink in the penciled image. (If you want to erase the pencil marks use high quality eraser to avoid black smears)

Color the image with Cajun Craze, Tangerine Tango, and Crushed Curry Stampin' Write markers. Overlap the colors so they begin to blend. Use Wink of Stella to blend the colors.  Adhere the stamped/colored Vellum to the back side of the Vanilla/gold foil unit with glue dots.

NOW adhere this unit to the front of the card base with glue dots--centering the leaf over the leaf cutout on the card base. Tie ribbon in bow, cut 2" sequin trim, fold in half adhere to leaf stem with glue dot and add bow with glue dot.

Cut 4 x 1 1/4 gold foil; cut 1 X 3 3/4 Very Vanilla cardstock; stamp Happy Birthday (Feather Together stamp set) in Archival Basic Black ink. Adhere the stamped piece to the Gold Foil with glue dots. Adhere this unit to the inside bottom of the card base with dimensionals--this forms the 'stop' against which the front will rest forming the triangle -see in the picture I've  pulled back the front edge a bit so you can see how the front will butt up against the happy birthday unit.  10-10-17 Maple Leaf side
