Simply Colorful without Coloring

Love color but not coloring....then you'll love this card with Simply Colorful without Coloring! It's this a beauty? Check out the layers of color and that awesome background..... Roses

OK, now I have to admit...this may be the simplest card I've shown you in a long time! Do you recognize this beautiful paper from Petal Gardens Designer Series Paper? Yep, that's right...it's designer paper and the only stamping I did was "It's a Good  Day" from Best Birds stamp set.

Well, of course, I did add a bit of sparkle with the Wink of Stella--any stamper worth her weight in ink will have a Wink of Stella in her hip pocket at all times, right. Here's a close up of the Wink--you can see a bit better than the bigger picture of the whole card. Wink of stella

I will give you the brief instructions for creating this card followed by the list of supplies. You can order your supplies by using the Shop Now button at the side of this page. Remember there are 2 ways to earn freebies in July

Here are the directions:

1. Cut Fresh Fig cardstock 5 1/2 X 8 1/2, score the long side at 4 1/4 (card base).

2. Cut Powder Pink 5 1/4 X 4; adhere to front of cardbase with multipurpose liquid glue

3. Cut the rose patter sheet (Petal Garden DSP) at 5 1/8 X 3 7/8 (note: you will want to cut a bit from the top and bottom to center your flower in this layers.) Adhere this to the Powder Pink layer with liquid glue.

4. Stamp "It's a Good Day" (Best Birds stamp set) in Archival Basic Black ink.

5. Now add a bit of Clear Wink of Stella on the Fresh Fig portion of the rose.

You card is complete! Now mail it to someone who can use an uplift to their day.
