The Meaning of the Asian Characters
April 21, 2017
Do you know The Meaning of the Asian Characters in the Artistically Asian set?
Here are the meanings next to the verses in the Artistically Asian stamp set. You may want to copy these out and store them with your set for future reference since the stamp case representation is not displayed like this:
I love the flavor of this set but I hesitated to use the Asian characters if I didn't know the meaning. So I contacted Stampin'Up! and they provided the meanings for me and I wanted to share them with you.
The set is awesome for making tags like this one
One great thing about this set is that it is not retiring so we have it for another year. I'll give you the directions for making this tag and then the supply list. Use the Shop Now button and the current month Hostess code Z9DFJV4T and you will be entered in the monthly drawing for a $50 Stampin'Up! product gift certificate (for each $50 in product that you order).
Here are the step by step directions:
1. Cut Real Red cardstock 2 X 5" (tag base); punch the top end with the scalloped tag topper punch and the bottom with the Banner Triple punch.
2. Cut Basic Black cardstock 2 1/4 X 3 3/8; rub the embossing buddy over surface, stamp images (Artistically Asian stamp set) in Versamark, sprinkle with Gold Embossing powder, heat with Heat Tool until shiny gold.
3. Cut Gold Glimmer paper 2 3/8 X 3 3/8; adhere under black layer with glue dots. Adhere this unit to tagbase with dimensionals
4. Cut 18" of 1/8" gold ribbon and loop through tag hole.
Your tag is finished---what does it say?
