Easy Stained Glass Look
March 14, 2017
I love the stained glass look...and today I'm going to show you a way to get that Easy Stained Glass Look! Stampin'Up! has a new stamp and framelit bundle called That's the Tag Bundle. It's designed for great looking tags in just minutes. That's what I used for this tag:
It's really easy with the 2 layers of tag framelits and adding a dash of Clear Wink of Stella (which is hard to see in the picture---check this close up and you can sort of see the shimmer!
And, of course, you can change the colors to fit whatever scheme you need just by changing the marker colors of the flower and leaves....the combinations are endless.
And...tune back in Friday, I want to show something else with the bundle that is terrific!
Directions and supply list are below. Remember, Sale-a-bration is only with us for 15 more days! Purchase $50 in product and select a freebie from the SAB mini Download SAB_2017_US or the additional three new items Download SAB_2017_2nd Release_US. Note: the Card tin is no longer available. All items are only as long as supplies last--so hurry and place that order to get the one you really want!
Also, if you order online and use this month's hostess code (AWSR23GU) your name will be entered in a drawing for a $50 Stampin'Up! product gift certificate!
Here we go:
1. Use the plain oval die (Timeless Tags Thinlets) and cut the base oval from Whisper White cardstock.
2. Use the flower die and cut the oval from Basic Black cardstock; adhere this to the white cardstock using the Finetip Glue Pen.
3. Using Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, and Wild Wasabi Stampin'Write markers, color the areas between the black outlines on the White cardstock. (it looks awesome, doesn't it?)
4. Using the Clear Wink of Stella, add some shimmer to the flower and flower center.
5. Cut an 18" piece of 1/8"gold ribbon and loop it through the tag hole formed by the die.
Your tag is completed...how easy was that!
