DIY 5 minute card

I'm always in a hurry so the DIY 5 Minute Card can be a lifesaver for me! Check it out!

1-17-17 Project Life DIY 5 minute card
5 minute Project Life by Stampin'Up! birthday card

Now you may ask, where did you get that awesome designer series paper...and I'd say...it's NOT designer series paper and, before you ask, it is also not a stamp!

It IS a Project Life by  Stampin'Up! card....those are the great card set that you can use to create some really pretty photo memory pages that are completed in no time by slipping these cards in those pocketed photo pages.

The size of the cards are 4 x 6", 4 X 4", and 3 x 4." One of the best features of the Project Life by Stampin'Up!  card set is that you get 2 of each card--since I'm using half of a 4 X 6 card--I have enough of this one design to do 4 cards! You get 100 cards in the set--depending on your design you could get over 200 cards form a single set of cards.

I'll give you the directions followed by the supply list to order what you need to create this card.

And, don't forget, if you use this month's Host code ATDBYAPN when you place an online $50 (product, excluding shipping & tax) your name will be entered in a drawing for a $50 Stampin'Up! Gift Certificate. (Your name will be entered for each $50 in product that you purchase.)

PLUS, Sale-a-bration is in effect, for  each $50 in product that you purchase, you also select a FREE product from the Sale-a-bration mini catalog--no shipping, no tax---completely free.

Here are the directions:

1. Cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock 4 1/4 X 11 and score the long side at 5 1/2 (this is your card base)

2. Cut the Project Life by Stampin'Up! card at 3" on the 6"side--this results in a 4 X 3 card. Adhere this with multipurpose liquid glue to the bottom of the card base front leaving 1/8" border on both sides and bottom.

3. Cut a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock 2 1/4 X 4; stamp Happy Birthday (Birthday Blast stamp set) in Archival Black ink (Item # 140931) in the middle of this piece. Using liquid glue adhere this above the PL card--leave 1/8" on both sides and the top of the cardbase. Add a small gold Metallic enamel dot over the dot above the 'i' in birthday.

4. Using an 18" piece of Mint Macaroon 3/8" ribbon around the card front where the Daffodil cardstock and the PL card meet---tie a bow.

Your card is completed? Isn't that an awesome card--and there were only 4 step with minimal supplies! With one set of Project Life by Stampin'Up! cards--you can create many cards in 5 minutes. Use this same design and just substitute your favorite card!
