DIY Quick Easy Gift Tag

It's getting pretty late to make cards so if you haven't quite found the time to do those, the next best thing is a hand-crafted gift tag.

This little cutie relies on Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape---see it down at the bottom...now there is just no quicker way to add tons of pizzaz to your tag or card than to grab a couple of designs that coordinate (and Stampin'Up! does that with all their washi tape--they come packed to coordinate with each other).

The top of the tag is a fabulous design that looks like it takes some real talent and skill---NOT! It's the Scalloped Tag Topper punch---does all that glorious design in one punch...just cut the cardstock to 2" and as long as you need for your design--then punch the top and it looks like a million bucks!

OK, I'm going to give you the step by step directions and then the supply list.

1.Cut a piece of thick Whisper White cardstock 2 X 4"--I use the thick cardstock because it gives the tag a bit more sturdiness. Then punch one end with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.

2. Stamp Merry (Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set) in Real Red classic ink at the top of the tag.

3. Thread a 12"piece of cherry twine through the top hole.

4. Select a couple of designs from the Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape and apply to the bottom of the tag.

5. Stamp the reindeer (Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set) in Archival Black ink on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock; punch out with the Cookie Cutter punch.  Adhere to the tag with a couple of dimensionals.

6. Punch a 1/2" circle of red glimmer paper and cover the reindeer  nose using another dimensionals

Your tag is completed! I told you that it would only take a couple of minutes, right? Now make a bunch so you can get that wrapping under way!
