DIY - Gift Card Holder

Who of us is not giving gift cards this holiday season? What would make the gift card feel more special--like you gave some special thought to the person receiving the gift? Make a great DIY Gift Card Holder! Put that gift card in there with a special sentiment from you and the recipients will feel they have received a special gift from you!
Here's an easy but really pretty gift card holder---and it's made from an envelope! Here's how--and, right after the directions, I will give you the supply list that you'll need to create these little pretties!
Here's how:
1. Score an regular envelope from each end (flap closed) 1 3/8" from each side edge. Open the flap and cut out the portions above the side score marks down to the flap fold line---see the picture below:
2. Stamp the Christmas Ball from Project Life Hello December2015 stamp set in Cucumber Crush classic ink in the center section of the envelope front--see above picture for location.
3. Cut two pieces of white cardstock 1 3/8 X 4 3/8; place theses along the side edges of the Berries and Boughs embossing folder to capture the pretty border (see the picture of the front of the holder to see the embossing). Using multipurpose liquid glue, adhere there to the front flaps of the envelope (the sides that have been folded in after scoring).
4. Cut a piece of the Holidays Fancy Foil Vellum (I used the red striped design) 1 3/4 X 2 7/8; adhere to envelope flap with glue dots. Add a Winter Wonderland embellishment to the center of the flap with a glue dot.
5. Cut an 18" piece of 1/8" green striped ribbon, adhere to the back of the envelope with a tiny line of liquid glue--so that when it wraps to the front of the envelope--it will keep the flap down and in place.
You are done! You can create several of these in a couple of hours and be ready to go when the holidays arrive!
