Would you like to match the wooden Snowflake Elements to your card color scheme or your project?
Look at this.
Here are some more takes on this....aren't these really great? Did you find them in the SU catalog? Well, you did see the wooden Snowflake elements (p. 23), but you didn't see the red, silver, gold, white, or Iridenscent ice ones, did you?
They are simple to do and I'm going to show you how, Below the directions is a list of supplies that I used on mine.
White snowflakes: press the Snowflake element into the White Craft Ink pad. (Note: I used the piercing tool in the center hole of the snowflakes to manipulate them without having to touch the wet snowflake). Pour white embossing powder over the entire snowflake, flick off excess powder, and heat with heat tool until shiny white.
Silver or gold snowflake: press the Snowflake element into the Versamark ink pad. Pour gold (or silver) embossing powder over the snowflake, flick off excess powder and heat with heat tool until shiny and bright.
Iridescent Ice snowflake (the sparkle is difficult to see in the photo, but it is very striking in real life) Press snowflake into white craft ink pad, sprinkle with Iridescent Ice embossing powder, flick off excess and heat with heat tool until sparkly
Red snowflake: press snowflake into Real Red Classic Ink pad, remove and let dry. (Note: you can use any color ink that you need to match your project. The ink on the wood may tend to be a bit darker because of the wood tone).
Isn't this an awesome trick? Here are the supplies that I used:
