Well, the prep work is underway for tomorrow's Stampin'UP! Card buffet! We are going to gorge on 35 fantastic designs to create new cards all day long!

It's almost here! Sunday is that day for the New Stampin'Up! Catalog Debut!

It's at Sandi's Stamping Studio at 1PM--by reservation only! Right now, all spaces are filled but you can go on the wait list in case there is a cancellation.

I've been creating new samples all weekend so you will have plenty to look at when you get here!

Just got back from the Stampin'Up! incentive trip to Hawaii.  Below is one of the excursions that we took on a catamarand for some scuba diving. My son, Shawn, and my granddaughters (Olivia, Giselle, and Isabella) really had a blast with the diving---they were in a bed of sea turtles with a school of black fish zipping about them. They saw many turtles but it is illegal to touch them--but I think that was ok with most of the swimmers. After the diving we took a long sale--it was a gorgeous day...we could have just kept going and going!

This pretty little number is actually quite easy--just a matter of layering the cardstock to give it some depth. The scalloped border (Scalloped edge punch is retiring) gives it some extra interest. The Too Kind stamp set is a 2-step stamp set using Blushing Bride and Cherry Cobbler inks (with matching cardstock). It's all topped off with a Bitty Butterfly punched from Gold Glimmer cardstock.

Here's a quick and easy peaceful card created with the Stampin'Up! Moon Lake stamp set in the Occasions mini catalog (did you know that the Occasions mini will be retiring June 2dn and this stamp set will not be available after that date).

To make this card take a piece of copy paper and  place it over the top half of a piece of Whisper White cardstock (4 X 5 1/4). Using a dauber, apply Pool Party ink heavily near the copy paper edge and fade out as you reach the bottom. Place the copy paper at the same position except cover the bottom part of the white cardstock and apply Pool Party lightly to create the sky.

Stamp the duck image in Jet Black Stazon ink and color using the Stampin'Write Markers (I used Garden Green, Crumb Cake, and Cajun Craze.) Stamp Birthday Wishes (Four You stamp set) near the lower edge.

Adhere the completed White cardstock to the card base (Island Indigo 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, scored on the long side at 4 1/4).
