It's the monthly ITB (I'm Too Busy) kit! Here's how it works:
*Around the middle of the month, I send out a picture of the card for next month with a list of supplies (and alternative supplies in case you don't have exactly what I used). Note: kit fee ($13 for 5 cards)
*You place your order by the end of the month (fee due at this time)
*By the middle of the next month, you kit will be ready for pick up (or you can have it mailed to you for an additional fee). Your kit contains:
1. Color photo of the card
2. List of supplies and measurements (so you can re-create this card anytime in the future without having to search for a video to watch)
3. Step by step directions so that you can have them by your side when you are creating your cards.

More details: I will prepare some of the more intricate items or items I think you may not have time to create--this way you are all set to do some stamping and assembly--you'll have 5 awesome cards ready to go in no time.

You can do this watching the sports game, on the plane, watching your fav TV program or while you are listening to your friend on the phone drone on and on about whatever they drone on and on about (just kidding)!

New Design for the Memory keeping class on 2/20!  We are keeping the pages "general" in design this year (as opposed to seasonal pages in the past). By using a general design you can incorporate many types of photos into your album--heritage, family, events, groups, clubs, etc. We are keeping the colors to muted tones also--in this (and last month's pages) we are in the neutral tones and some awesome accessories to keep it interesting. 

One feature that will be included in each set of pages is an area where you can journal---now don't groan--we are not talking about pages and pages of writing. As I  look back at photos and albums from my past, I often don't remember (or never knew) the event, the people in the pictures, or the date of the pictures. That is awesome and really important information.

So when I say an area for journaling--just include names, dates, places, events...that way the future generations will be able to  understand what the photo actually represents.

Some of the ladies who attend these classes also attend the Project Life classes--using the pocketed pages for quick and easy assembly of pictures with a bit of accessorizing.  This way you have the best of both world.....lovely presentation pages to begin a section...then follow with Project Life pages to add serveral more photos that can be quickly assembled.

If you think the future generations won't want to look at these pics--you are wrong! I do a Heritage album for my family every year for Christmas. This year my great niece (she's still pretty little) made her Grandmom sit down with the newest album and go through the pictures to see who was who and what their relationships are. Pretty cool!

Saturday we had a super day (not yet Super Bowl Day) creating some awesome cards selected by the hostess for the day, They featured Choose Happiness, Corner Garden and Sheltering Trees. This weekend we also debuted an upcoming class on March 21st (Four Seasons) featuring the Sheltering Trees and we nearly sold out--I think Sheltering Trees is going to be a big hit in the Occasions mini catalog. The designs Saturday included some fussy cutting, masking and 2-step stamping. Everyone had a great time and left with 15 new cards for their stash.
